Lakers vs Timberwolves | Lakers Highlights | 2025 NBA Playoffs Game 2 | April 22, 2025

Go Lakers, make show. Timberwolves lineups two, familiar five with Rui LeBron, Jackson, Hayes, Austin, and look at anybody, anywhere. Here's LeBron, he's going to lob it under to Hayes, and he hasn't thought about it, and again, he hasn't missed. He just hasn't missed in the last couple of games. This is a tough shot. Lakers have to make sure they value every possession. That's it, back to the net. Heard that. They're noisy to start this one. LeBron underneath, great pass, he scores. Defense by Rui and the Lakers. Underneath is Hachimura. They can't score, but he's fouled. And so they were wrestling right there. Edwards, two flying balls, and Hayes blocks it. He's the only guy that they say can protect the rim. Luka going one on one with the— Of course, Ant led the NBA in three pointers. Dodges, waters into the paint, and scores. In his career, Luka going one-on-one, go ball, draws the foul. Luka living at the line. Randle's going to have to shoot it again. At the baseline, over Reeves. Good Laker defense. He's averaged just shy of 17 in both of them. Of course, he had to score again this year. Reeves confronts three defenders. Vinson, corner, drifting, shoot. Eight to four here in the quarter. And every shot has been from beyond the arc as Rui goes down. Yeah, Rui went down. Rui went to the locker room because he took a hand, elbow, something to the face. He was just one for ten. Dodges down the middle. He got it. Which hurt their seating. LeBron, who nearly traveled, stayed with that pivot foot, and he hits the middle. And Vinson in off the bench. DiMincenzo got to be a charge, huh? Got to be a charge. Offensive. Little back door. That time, they're going to swing it all the way to Luka. He's— Thirteen. Reeves, start, stop, go. Underneath, put it up and in. Around Edwards. We got a power play going the other way. Here comes James. Finney-Smith on the break. And points in transition. This year, not so much as Dodges, who's going to get double-teamed, finds Finney-Smith. He's going baseline. Out to Vinson. Right at the buzzer. Of course, in the Minecraft movie, that's got everybody hyped up around the country. And here we go with the lead. Parts, second quarter, behind the back. Austin stops, shoots, scores. Four threes for Minnesota, following that franchise record 21 of them. Offensive fight in the aft. We have the game number three on Friday for you. LeBron streaming. Eighteen. We've only had one lead change in tied runs. Another offensive fight. The bench and does. This crowd is fired up, and rightfully so. Finds McDaniels. McDaniels charges into the key. Can't score. Lucas got it, and immediately. A fun time seeing Minnesota, not only then, but the first game of the regular season. LeBron knocks it down for three. Four minutes in. The second quarter. Working on McDaniels. Maybe their best defender. No problem. Nearly 60. Dodges holding on to the ball. Cutting towards the basket. Now stomping. Hitting from under 100. Dodges. Bumping into his man. And that's Shannon Jr. Dodges, been unstoppable. He's trying it again. Luka wins. Luka doesn't miss his man. Dorian Finney-Smith cuts baseline for the easiest dude. With passion. We're all over that word.
