It's an Easter egg challenge with a bit of a twist.
We're going to do one team at a time. So we have our first team, Savannah and Dean.
Our second team, Lucas and Lorelai. And the third team, Darren and Jacob.
All right, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to hand out a piece of paper
to one team at a time. So the first team, Dean and Savannah, you're going to read
the instructions on the piece of paper. What does it say?
Find the egg where clothes get clean. So talk together. Where do clothes get clean?
In the laundry room. What does the clue say?
Find the egg where clothes get clean. So where would you put the clothes to get clean?
Find it. Oh, what else was in there?
That's it. So you and Savannah get to share that chocolate?
Yep. Great.
And what does the paper say?
Put a small pile of non-tea into that undocked
of fenced up area of non-tea. Can you guys do that?
Yep. Savannah's got the dark stuff coming out here.
Dean's putting the light stuff in the other basket. Good idea.
Get all the dark stuff in here. And I think Cosmo's coming to help you guys.
I think we need to check because I think Dean put some underwear there that was dark.
Okay. So this is all your dark stuff? Yep.
Oh, those two towels, Dean, are dark. So are Savannah's riding pants.
They're half black. Okay. Do you guys know how to start a load?
Yep. You're done.
I think they did good. Ready for your challenge.
Okay. Read it. Read it out loud.
Okay. Number two, I'm hiding where your hands get clean.
Okay. Where do you think you get your hands cleaned, Lorelai?
Bathroom. Several bathrooms,
but there's the ones inside construction. So we're going to do this one up
down here and the one upstairs. You think you get your hands clean in the toilet, Laura?
Yeah. Where would you have your hands to get clean?
Here. So it's not there?
Okay. Can I open it?
Ask Luke. Get it together. You open it and I'll read.
One, two, three, four, five, six. And it says to demonstrate proper hand washing.
Okay. What do you have to do, Laura?
Wash this. Get it wet.
Is he doing it right, Laura? Yes.
Okay. Luke's still washing. And what's Laura doing?
Chocolate. Admiring all the chocolate.
How's his hand washing? Is he doing the proper job? Because you don't get the chocolate if
the hand washing doesn't happen proper. I'm a glossy judge here.
So is he doing it right? Because you're not going to get any chocolate if you aren't
cheering him on and making sure he does it right.
Go Luke. Let's go. I think that's the cleanest your hands have been in a very long time.
You know I've been doing it the same way every time, right?
No, you don't put that much effort in. Nice try.
So three days each.
Laura, how did he do? Did he do a good job washing?
Yeah.
Flossy judge, how did he do?
I think I would minus if I'm going to be super flossy one point.
Why?
He didn't say happy birthday twice.
He doesn't have to sing. He just has to wash them that much.
Find me where you eat your meals. This is a funiculus.
Hey Darren, where do you eat your meals?
Uh-huh.
Yes. You have to find an egg where you eat your meals.
Okay.
Where do you eat, Darren?
In the bedroom, in the living room, or the dining room?
Dining room.
Not there.
I just thought of a way to make it go quicker.
Did you get some chocolate eggs, Darren?
Yeah.
Okay, we have to do the challenge so we can have the eggs.
Set the paper for one person eats fork, knife, spoon, napkin, and cup.
Okay, so go get your stuff so you can do that.
Okay, for the nine of us.
Says one person each, one for you and one for Darren.
Okay.
Help each other.
We just need two, Darren.
Okay.
What else do you need?
A spoon and fork.
Ready?
Talk to each other.
Take the nitty-gritty.
You can't get the spoons.
Where do the cups go, Darren?
Are these the two spots we're doing?
Yeah.
Okay.
So the cup needs to be here.
Okay, read your list again.
Make sure you've done everything it's asked.
Fork, knife, spoon.
Fork, knife, spoon, napkin, and cup.
I don't know how to do that.
Like this.
It's looking good.
That constantly helps.
Okay, are you guys ready?
Ready.
Challenge done?
Yeah.
So you get your chocolate?
Yeah.
Yay.
Let's go see what the next challenge is.
So far, our fussy judges said you've all done well.
Okay.
That's the end of round one.
Now we begin round two.
Tell me where we keep the broom.
Where do you keep the broom?
On the back post.
Where are we going?
Sweep the dining room.
So who's gonna do the sweeping?
Do you think Savannah should get extra points for moving the obstacles?
Yep.
She's doing a good job.
You have a good teammate.
I found the other ass.
It's in the money thing.
Is that gonna be your challenge or someone else's?
Mine.
I don't know.
Might be someone else's challenge.
Don't tell them.
That's a lot of stuff.
And you're putting the tools back?
Yeah.
Good idea.
Nice job.
Did your partner get it all done?
Yep.
Did you tell her what a wonderful job she did?
Hop to where you see play money.
Huh?
Hop to where you see play money.
Let's go see if we can find some play money.
Don't forget it says hop.
How are we supposed to hop upstairs?
Carefully.
Get hopping buddies.
Should we wear our shoes?
Feet together.
Bending at the knees.
Pay attention as you're going past.
Where's the play money?
Right here.
So did you get more eggs?
Yep.
Six.
Six in each.
There's four more eggs to find.
Is there?
Count out money for it.
Count out money for item on card given to you.
Lucas, I want you to get $41.89.
I'm going to give you a card that is $11.03 for a tree.
Okay.
So can you count out $11?
Yep.
And three cents?
Yep.
One, two, three.
$11.
Which ones are dollars?
This one.
Okay.
So how many of those ones do we need?
11.
Okay.
How's yours coming, Luke?
Really good.
Three, four, six, seven.
I got seven.
I got 11.
Count them again.
Make sure you have the right one.
One, two, three, four.
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven.
And three cents.
Is there any pennies in there?
And how much do you have, Luke?
$41.89.
Okay, picky judge.
Let's count it out.
See if they're right.
Okay.
Forty.
One.
Eighty.
Wait, what?
Can I see your card, please?
I'm trying to read it upside down.
Why'd you do 70?
Forty.
Uh-oh.
Our judge is having trouble counting.
Eighty-nine.
Good.
Good job.
Do you think the judge is going to say yours is right?
Challenge number two for you guys.
Okay.
Are you reading?
Who's reading?
Jacob is.
Okay, there you go.
Read it out loud.
I am hiding here where you make a call.
Okay.
Where do you make a call?
Darren, where do you think you make a call?
On the phone.
So we need to find an egg.
Okay.
Near a phone.
I just found it.
Where was it?
By right here.
By the phone?
Yes.
Okay, let's go to the table and open it up.
That's a cell phone number because I don't use the phone.
But you're supposed to have it memorized in case of an emergency.
Yeah.
So do you think you can do it?
I think so.
Okay, let's see what you got.
Say the number out loud as you do it.
Two, five, zero, six.
Okay, I think you better hang up because you are phoning a stranger.
Do you have the number written down anywhere?
Yes, I have it written down.
But I can't remember it.
Where is it written down?
In one of my notebooks.
Do you know where that notebook is in case you had to phone dad?
I think so.
Yes.
Would it be helpful if you can't remember these important numbers
to have them written down and keep them in your wallet?
Yeah.
If you had an emergency or you had an emergency,
how are you going to get a hold of us?
I don't know.
Oh, that's something really important to know, isn't it?
Yeah.
Do you think Cheyenne the picky judge gets the eggs because you failed the challenge?
Yes.
Oh, yay.
It's not for you, but yay for me.
Team number three, do you have any advice for the other teams?
Remember your parents' phone numbers and put it in your wallet.
So if you can't remember it, have it written down in your wallet?
Yeah.
Okay, because that's important in case there's an emergency.
Yeah.
Because their challenge was to phone dad.
Okay, are we ready for our final challenge?
Yes.
Back to team number one.
Who's going to read this one?
Savannah.
Go ahead, Savannah.
Find the egg.
Egg now where you dispose of waste.
So the downstairs or the upstairs?
Let's check upstairs.
Find the egg.
Okay, let's open it up.
See what your challenge is.
I think Dean needs to do this challenge
because he's been having Savannah do a lot of the work.
It's on the terrace and replaced with the bed.
Do you know how to do this, Dean?
Yeah.
Is this your chore today?
No.
But you're doing it first.
There's a bunch of goodies in there today.
Tie up the garbage, Dean, before it spills everywhere.
Send this to Dean Wednesday.
Savannah's getting the garbage bag ready.
You got it all tied up?
Yep.
Thank you.
Nice job, Savannah.
Okay, team two, your final challenge.
Do you want me to read it?
Who's going to read it?
Okay, Lorelai, see if you can read that, please.
Okay.
Look there and they are plants.
Okay, let Lucas try looking at it.
Let's see.
Look where days are planned.
Do you even need to look at it?
Look where what?
Days are planned.
Look where days are planned.
Probably upstairs.
Where?
In the eating room.
The dining room.
It says where days are planned.
Where we write down what happens on each day.
Where is stuff written down, Lorelai?
If you want to know what's going on tomorrow, where would you look?
Calendar.
What is the date for the last Sunday of April?
What's the date of the last Sunday of April?
Yeah.
That would be the 26th.
The 26th.
Assuming 10 30.
Judge, please read the clue again.
What is the date of the last Sunday of April?
Did they get it right?
No, they got Saturday.
Guess what?
I get you guys this chocolate too.
I'll get 27th because yeah, I'm making a mistake.
That's not.
Yeah, so that means the judge gets your chocolate.
Just to throw it out there, you two are not alone in losing six pieces of chocolate.
The last challenge.
You guys ready?
Yeah.
Is Darren going to read it or you?
I will.
You want Darren to try?
He can try.
Can you try, Darren?
I think I can.
Okay, read what it says.
I don't know what it says.
Okay.
Find me where the first day lives.
What does that mean?
Talk about it amongst you.
Where are you going to look?
We're going to look where the second flight of stairs is.
Okay.
So where the computer is.
Yeah.
Is this the first day?
Oh, I'm not seeing the egg.
Where else do we keep first aid supplies?
Found it.
Show her to put on the band-aid.
Oh, can you guys do that?
Yep.
Hey, go get one.
You get a band-aid?
Yep.
Possibly judge Cheyenne.
Yes.
Would Jake qualify or like to save a person or would the person die from infection and everything?
So if I had a real wound, I might have gotten an infection.
He's still learning.
What was your question?
What happened to Lucas's and Lola's egg?
Yeah.
The judge got it because they didn't do the challenge right.
Oh.
And the same thing happened to this team.
One of their challenges.
Dad, who won the challenge?
Honestly, I think they all won the challenge.
Because the challenge was supposed to be about learning new tasks and skills
or refreshing your memory from ones that were already learned.
And working together.
And working together as a team.
Yeah, so I think they're all winners.
Hey, Dad, you've got a bag of prizes.
Would you like one of those?
Yes, please.
Would you like one of those?
Would you like one?
No, you don't want one of those.
Okay, you can have one of those.
Yes, please.
I want to eat it.
Not right now.
Our judge should get one too.
Excuse me.
Not you.
The other judge.
Thanks for watching.
See you soon.
