尼康好兄弟 尼康的復古之路：ZF vs DF

Nikon ZF的到來 我相信很多人都在問 Nikon ZF的到來 這部新相機和傳奇的Nikon DF有什麼分別呢? Nikon ZF已經有數百萬部了 很多人都在問 我應該要升級到新的光澤相機嗎? 跟我們一起看看吧 Nikon ZF在2013年5月發售 這部相機已經有十年了 當時Nikon ZF的接待方式蠻混淆的 很多人都稱它為Marmite相機 有些人喜歡這部相機的設計 有些人不喜歡這部相機的設計 因為這部相機跟Nikon DSLR相機的設計很不一樣 10年後我們有了Nikon ZF 也有Nikon ZF-C Nikon ZF-C是Nikon ZF的弟弟 所以我們比較熟悉Nikon ZF的介面 Nikon ZF的ISO控制 Nikon ZF的Shutter Speed Control Nikon ZF的Exposure Compensation 我們先說說外面的相機 Nikon ZF的DF相機比較重 雖然Nikon ZF的相機很堅固 但Nikon ZF的DF相機在我們看來是比較好 相機比較容易手持 Nikon也提供了Nikon ZF的小相機支架 如果你想要更好的相機支架 但最有趣的是 Nikon ZF的相機支架 是用了Aperture Select的按鍵 也就是我們稱之為Sub Command Dial Nikon ZF的相機支架是平直的 相機支架是沒有其他相機支架 也沒有其他相機支架 而Nikon ZF的支架 是用了我們的傳統的前後操控 我覺得這點 會讓Nikon ZF相機比較方便使用 另一件事 Nikon ZF的小相機支架 比較像傳統的Nikon SLR相機 像FM3、F3、FE2FA相機 相比Nikon ZF Nikon ZF的小相機支架 是比較方便使用 但Nikon ZF的小相機支架 從手持的角度來看 是比較方便使用 直接從盒子裡拿出來 沒有其他配件 從相機的背面來看 Nikon ZF的前後操控 很容易會錯誤 我們也聽過很多人說過 從背面來看 Nikon ZF的前後操控 很明顯是用大螢幕 而Nikon ZF的後螢幕 你可以隱藏 透過向外傾斜 翻轉螢幕 讓後螢幕完全隱藏 然而翻轉螢幕 也是一個優點 如果你需要拍攝 從更奇怪的角度拍攝 或者你想拍一些自拍 你可以透過Nikon ZF 還有一件要注意的事 Nikon ZF有傳統的DSLR 和一個真正精緻的 望遠鏡 而Nikon ZF 有一個小螢幕 它們叫EVF Electronic Viewfinder 所以對於一些人來說 從這個鏡頭到那個鏡頭 如果你還沒有試過 Nikon的鏡頭 或者任何其他廠商的鏡頭 你可能會發現 當你開啟後螢幕 我們需要一些調整 這並不是說 這個鏡頭的EVF不是很好 它是很棒的 它是高解像度 它有很好的清晰度 整體來說感覺很不錯 但是從望遠鏡頭來看 對我來說 我必須花幾天 在那些鏡頭上 讓自己舒服一點 一件對於 Electronic Viewfinder 就是你可以 在拍攝前 所以你看到的就是你得到的 如果你不喜歡 但是大多數人 都會保留這個選項 這意味著當你 改變你的設定時 你可以看到 你拍攝前 如何影響 結果的曝光 另一件事就是 在望遠鏡頭的畫面 比在DF的 所以如果你喜歡 在螢幕上 拍攝更大的畫面 那你得到的就是在DF 你也可能會發現 在低光下的焦點 其實如果你 使用手動焦點 會比較容易 在Electronic Viewfinder 因為它會提升 曝光度一點 當然在望遠鏡頭 你不會做到 所以最後 在建構質素方面 雙鏡頭 是一種半金屬 半塑膠的設計 Nikon ZF 有鑰匙 金屬頂部 DF是 全金屬 沒有鑰匙 技術上 DF 是一種 兩個鏡頭 融合在一起 所以它有 Nikon D4的感應器 很棒的低光 16MP感應器 Nikon D600的功能 它是一種 一般的消費鏡頭 所以焦點 跟D6的功能 但焦點 和焦點 的功能 差不多一樣 Nikon ZF 是半金屬 半塑膠 有美麗的鑰匙 你可以使用鑰匙 如果你想要 使用美麗的焦點 或者希望 你會使用鏡頭 會自然地焦點 但總括來說 從焦點的角度 它們差不多一樣 ZF和Z6和Z7 是兩種相似的鏡頭 Nikon ZF 和D750和D600 是相似的鏡頭 所以我會說 它們差不多 是同樣的 消費鏡頭 說到內部 我們說過 Nikon ZF 是16MP的感應器 它是從D4 拿來的 這意味著 低光效果 非常棒 ZF的24MP感應器 是Z5 Z6和Z6 II 相同的解析度 但它是重新設計的 是的 它也搭載了 新的XP7處理器 來自於 Nikon Z9和Nikon Z8的 這意味著 它能讓一切 非常非常快 因此 自動焦點 速度 處理 圖片 所有鏡頭 都來自新一代 這意味著 技術上 這大概 是目前最好的 以這個價錢來說 是的 絕對的 而DF 得到自動焦點系統 來自D600鏡頭 這意味著 它並不壞 但它並不在 Nikon ZF的 所以 如果你使用 自動焦點鏡頭 你會看到 Nikon ZF的 然而 如果你使用 自動焦點鏡頭 這也有 不少差別 說到 自動焦點鏡頭 DF的主要特色 就是 你可以 安裝 自動焦點鏡頭 所以 自動焦點鏡頭 從 1972年 1971年 製作 你可以 直接安裝到DF 沒有損壞 任何接觸 技術上 你可以 一樣 在ZF上 安裝自動焦點鏡頭 安裝到 FTZ 或FTZ2 Nikon不推薦 主要因為 它們覆蓋 所有焦點 但它並不損壞 任何FTZ 或FTZ2 因為 它們並不損壞 所以 你可以 做到自己的風險 但我們做到了 沒問題 是的 另一件 ZF帶給你的事 就是 焦點鏡頭 透過鏡頭 和 後螢幕 焦點鏡頭 基本上 在焦點上 顯示焦點位置 你可以 調整焦點 到 非常低 中間 正常 或非常高 這意味著 你能確定 焦點鏡頭 會在焦點上 出現 先調整焦點 才能 接受焦點 ZF 人們曾經 將焦點鏡頭 和鏡頭 換成 分鏡頭 來使焦點 更容易 但 這對焦點 系統 是的 你可以 安裝這樣的螢幕 是第三方的 所以 Nikon 不推薦 這樣做 And you would void your warranty by doing that Obviously those cameras are no longer sold So that's not an issue at all Now, the benefits of having an electronic viewfinder With a manual focus lenses You can actually zoom in into the image To confirm how sharp the subject is Obviously with optical viewfinder you can't do that Now, on top of the magnification This camera, and it's the first mirrorless camera from Nikon today That allows you a face and eye recognition On manual focus lenses Which means if you have it enabled in the camera When you photograph a person or an animal It will show you the box, the square And if you press zoom in or OK button It will go 100% straight to the eye So you can confirm this Again, this is the new features that we get Because it's an electronic viewfinder And the software is developed around this While optical viewfinder obviously can't have that feature Another mention on lens compatibility for you Is the fact that the DF Obviously being an F-mount camera Will work with all of the F-mount lenses And will autofocus with even older Focus by wire AF Nikkor lenses With the ZF, you've got the FTZ adapter But AF lenses, so of an earlier generation Won't autofocus on this camera They will be rendered manual focus And of course you can't use that lenses On F-mount body Just for some of you who don't know So you... No one asked But I said it Just in case If you don't like the shutter speed dial And you don't want to use that lovely dial That Nikon have included for you You can put it on to the third step option On both the ZF and the DF Which means that essentially Your shutter speed control Goes straight back to your main command dial As we're always used to shooting On all of our Zs, all of our DSLRs Since time immemorial This hybrid approach Also has some intricacies Where for example on Nikon ZF If you have auto ISO enabled Then whatever you have set on the dial here Then it won't really affect This dial becomes obsolete Now in our humble opinion That could be improved on But Nikon DF does literally the same thing So in terms of this Our advice really is If you want to have a modern camera It may be worth considering Other cameras and Nikon lineup And the good news is that All other cameras in Nikon lineup Except Nikon ZF-C as well as ZF Will give you this modern functionality So again It doesn't mean you can't use This as a modern camera Or with the same wheel set up But there are much better options For this available for you That's right Another thing which is Specific to the ZF Is the fact that this shutter speed dial Although it has a screw thread in it Will not take a cable release One of the nice things about the DF Was the fact that With the screw thread in the shutter button You could use an old school AR1 cable release And it would actually work with this camera With this it's just designed to take A soft shutter release Or as we now know it An AR11 There you go One interesting thing about Nikon DF Nikon decided not to include Video functionality on this camera Just because The way they marketed the camera The way they designed the camera Was for still photographers at heart Which means you want to Concentrate on the image The whole marketing campaign was A person somewhere in the highlands In Scotland Walking for three hours Taking their time Taking one shot Put the fire up Go to sleep It's all worth it So you know Obviously Nikon ZF While design around still photography And obviously to bring this Nostalgia to the masses Also has a video functionality And it shoots 4K At 60 frames per second Nikon added video functional stuff Like zebras 10-bit recording All the cutting edge Video functionalities That still photographers May not appreciate But if you're into video It's actually quite nice to have For me personally I will use this camera For our vlogging As well as still photography And that will update my Nikon Z6 That we are filming on now Now let's focus on the ZF For a moment Because this camera Has all of the latest Modern conveniences Yes A lot of people call it The Gen.25 camera Because it's got a lot of features Coming from their flagships Like Z8 and Z9 So you've got fast autofocus speed You've got really good Video functionality You now have a pre-capture In JPEG mode Where the camera starts to record The images Before you actually press the shutter And then also record the images After you press the shutter Which is new And Gen.2 cameras Like Z6 and Z7 Mark II Don't have that functionality So in terms of technology This is a really good value Right now You also have quality of life Improvements Such as USB charging For the battery inside the camera You've got two memory card slots So an SD and a micro SD card slot And let's not forget the IBIS On the sensor Or vibration reduction This one can do up to 8 stops With the native lenses But it also will support All your manual focus lenses AI, AIS, Pre-EI As well as third party via the adapters Because the vibration reduction On the sensor You will have that on the camera DF doesn't have that In addition the VR actually works In the corners of the frame Because of a new redesigned Vibration reduction or In-body image stabilization unit Which means that Even if your focus point Is in the corner of the frame You can still have VR or IBIS Focused around that Last thing is that the camera Has a black and white switch So if you do want to just go Straight over to black and white photography Then all you need to do is Flick the switch at the top of the camera And you can go straight into Black and white mode It has more than one mode You've got standard monochrome You've got a sort of flat monochrome And then you have a deep tone monochrome as well This is something that I was actually talking about When the DF came out And how lovely it would be To be able to Just have a black and white switch On the camera You can technically Still shoot black and white In the DF You just have to go into the menu Or designate one of your Function buttons To accessing that option But it's not quite as clean And easy to do As just the flick of a switch here On the top of the ZF In conclusion The DF is still a fantastic camera Considering that it's 10 years old I still feel like it holds its own Oh yes And at the current prices Second hand It's a fantastic value for money Now the features that you get from the DF If we really summarize it Are the autofocus capability With your older AF-D type lenses The mechanical shutter release function Overall the mechanical feel of it And the optical viewfinder Yes So if you want the camera Just for steals On a budget And if you don't like This whole mirrorless vibe Then this is a fantastic camera We always recommend you To try it first as well Because it will feel different From the other DSLRs that Nikon make For example Nikon D850 Now for everything else Nikon ZF gives you Pretty much all the functionality Of this camera Except the electronic viewfinder No autofocus with AF lenses AF-S type lenses will be absolutely fine And no mechanical shutter release button For everything else It will allow you to do Exactly the same as the Nikon D850 So Pre-Eye Eye Eye-S Eye-F Eye-F-S lenses All we're working with Via FTZ adapter You can also attach A lot of other mount lenses For example we tried Leica mount lenses And they perform quite well You can adapt medium format lenses All sorts of things That is due to a very large Z mount The large mount itself Allows adaptability For a lot of lenses From all sorts of formats Brands and cameras If we're really nitpicking There are some things That I prefer on the Nikon D850 And some things that I don't like About the Nikon D850 I don't like the fact That the strap lugs Are at the front of the camera Instead of the side of the camera I never understood that design choice That's just me I didn't mind But wasn't a huge fan Of that flat aperture button However the Nikon D850 Has a lot more function buttons Than the Z F does If they had thrown in And I'm talking about Nikon here If Nikon had thrown in A dedicated AF on button An extra function button On the front of the camera And even the little joystick toggle That we're used to seeing On the Z 6 and Z 7 Era of cameras Then I would have been I think I would have been Very happy with this That's true I mean we have autofocus Manual focus switch On the body Without going into the menus We've got bracketing button Here as well Mirror lock up Is all in there Obviously mirrorless Comes with a lot of Software development So but we wish Nikon would have Maybe one or two function Extra function buttons Just for those reasons And that's again To do with the Hybrid performance of the camera Where you can control it As a modern camera But you can also control it Via knobs and dial And there you have it If you like this video Please give us a
