The Pentax let me down. Let me down. Light leaks. Every photo. My poor baby. Something happened. And I'm not sure what. But something happened. And I had to send her to get CLA. The Hasselblad came in for the kill. Came in to save the day. A lot of obstacles happened. A lot of roadblocks during this process that it happens, right? It happens when you have concepts. It happens. Nothing ever goes perfect or how you think it's going to turn out. But we made something work. It was originally going to be very different. I'll just preface by saying that. But we got some beautiful photos out of it. And I will say that this was my first time ever having any issues with my Pentax aside from like a year or two ago when I was having problems with the advance but it fixed itself and haven't had problems since. So not sure why those light leaks happened but they did. I think that that's the beauty of film in a sense. You know, you can take the unfortunate circumstances and make it yours and the imperfections can also heighten the photo sometimes. And though I. Y'all know me like. Yeah, I can respect the light leak. I can appreciate it. But it's not really the type of work that I do. I really like my images clean and simple. I want to thank everybody who was involved. We got Bailey per usual. We got Ashley, Jossie who were incredible talent. These dudes trained and came up with a whole fight sequence. I don't want to say I'm giving it a chance. But I'm just now opening myself to the medium. So I bought a little. I didn't have a simple 35mm. Just on the go to shoot type of camera. And I have the Canon EOS 1. Which is a 35mm camera. But it's big kind of bulky. Like not really just on the go. So I copped the Pentax MX 35mm. Fully mechanical film camera. And I got the 28mm lens. And the 40mm pancake lens for it. And I'm liking it. I haven't gotten anything scanned. Developed and scanned from it yet. But I got a roll of Ilfred HP5. In this bad boy. And I'm really looking forward to it. Brings me peace. You know. Throw this bad boy on. You know. Takes me back to my roots. Takes me back to the. To the Minolta X700A. So. Yeah. I've just been. Really been trying to create the art. That makes me happy. Between Portrait 800. And Cinestill 800T. Without the mess up. Because I. And I'm sorry Cinestill. Like. I know I didn't make. I didn't showcase the film. As best as I could. Because there were light leaks all over it. Which. Is my. It was my problem. I believe it was my problem. So. I sent the camera in. But. If you're using. Tungsten lighting. Which we used. What would you guys go with. Cinestill 800T. Or Portrait 800. Curious. And why. I hope that everybody has been having an amazing October.
