Thanks to catastrophic hail damage to our towed Honda CRV, we left our work camping jobs at the end of September to make a 2,000-mile journey back to Florida. We had just a handful of days to arrive to present the car to the DMV to obtain a "salvage title" to retain possession of the CRV as we planned to carry on in our travels in Baja, Mexico.
Oh, and there was a Category 4 hurricane barreling towards Florida! We would probably be the only people in RVs driving TOWARD a hurricane!
But as we know, life on the road is full of uncertainty. And navigating what seems like one small decision after another can really add up in the grand scheme of things.
In this episode, we are confronted with an experience that leads to a decision that would change the course of our travels from that point forward.
