FIVE-STAR ARSENAL! 🔥 Dominant Win v Leicester City | Highlights | Barclays WSL 2024-25

Sora stretching for it, Nastlev on it back, cheaply and high. Marnum, great cross! Caitlin Ford tucks it in. Incisive, punishing play from the Gunners and they lead on eight minutes here. Williamson up to the goal scorer, Caitlin Ford. And that's a lovely way to pass. Mead squares it! Crapping counter-attacking goal. Steiner-Blak Stenius on the end of it. Marking a rare start with a goal. In the WSL and Arsenal in total control. This is worth a hit. Oh, it's a deflection. It'll go down as another one for Caitlin Ford though. Only half an hour gone, this game is done. Arsenal 3 Leicester 0. Blak Stenius, oh she's gone for it. Trying to thread it through from a tight angle. They do have too much time and space, frankly. I think that was worth a go, threading through there. Victoria Pelova gets another big ovation, as she did here a couple of weeks ago when she made her return against Liverpool. The impressive thing is, actually, that they've also got a lot of clean sheets with the goals. Kim Little onto Caldente here, is this hers? Oh, it could have been, it probably should have been. Got hurt somewhere in the middle of all that. Lovely skills to tee up the shot, and just leaning and perhaps a fraction off balance. I don't think there's a foul in there by Little, it's just a ball well won. That touch is brilliant. Fox, Blak Stenius, behind Pelova, Leovalti, Caldente again. That is some clearance. Janis Keimal getting back there. That is as good as a goal, because Leipzig was beaten. Werner Caldente, you felt sure would make it 4-0. The team that always seems to score four times at home, may well do so, but not here. Little, nice. Brilliant. A popular goalscorer. Two of the long-serving superstars combined, and Arsenal score four. Shostakovich switched flanks since that double change a moment ago. Arsenal planning more shortly. Neat dummy, Mimiki, trying to find some room, and finding the corner of the net. Well, the second half's level. Still a quarter of the game to go to do further damage. Low. Oh, threw everybody in off the post. Oh, that's in though. And it's a lovely moment in Leicester City, as the Emirates Stadium celebrates victory. Williamson heads it out. Pellever, good take. Black Stenius has Howard one-on-one. Gonna go for goal here. And she's gonna scuff it wide. Still nearly squeezed in. Werner Caldente, threaded through. Black Stenius, tight angle. Wonder if she could have taken that with her right boot as it was running through. No, didn't go through quite. Cooney Cross. Werner Caldente, oh, gorgeous scoop through. Pellever! Lenina lights it to the rescue again. Deep. Sinsberger came. Didn't get there away by Black Stenius. And there's the final whistle confirming a result that was well set early on here in truth. A perfect night for René Slagers.
