A City Above, A Railroad Below - April Layout Update

Things are finally coming together. The wiring’s done, and trains are running. For the first time, I’ve pulled my passenger fleet out of storage and organized it into meaningful consistencies. I also made some decent progress on the elevated city platform, including the retaining wall system and angled portal build that’s been floating in my head for months.

This video’s not a deep dive or a tutorial—it’s just an honest layout update. What’s working, what I’ve figured out, and what’s next. I also share how I’ve been storing my rolling stock lately (with help from a roadside IKEA rescue), and how I’m starting to shape the look and function of the entire scene above the station.

Appreciate you watching. More soon.
