Watch all the incredible shotmaking of three-time FedExCup Champion and 2025 Masters Champion Rory McIlroy from the 2025 PGA TOUR season. The Northern Irishman is only the sixth player in history to complete the career Grand Slam, winning all four professional majors.
Downhill 7, so it's 112 yards
and this looks pretty good.
That was incredible.
That was total slam dunk there.
Here's another look from behind the green
downhill just a little chip down there.
112 yards adjusted.
Very few times in your life
do you slam dunk a golf ball.
Every time you hit a shot,
you're anticipating a bounce.
When you don't see a bounce,
it's like your heart skipped a beat.
My goodness. Very few can
take it over that line, Aaron.
It's unbelievable, Frank.
That is crazy. That's insane.
OK then. Yesterday he just fired
it straight over those trees.
Look at that. It's like a four hybrid
353 yards 20 yards past anybody else.
Annihilated one here on Friday.
Starts it on the same line.
Look for this to carry over 300.
And the rest 338.
That's crazy in the air.
There's gotta be 190 ball speed.
Oh yeah. Getting so mother
nature can only create par fives.
Such an advantage being able
to hoist that one up high,
probably an apex around 140.
20 feet for an eagle.
It's looking good.
It's an eagle for McElroy.
This ball's got plenty of steam on it.
It's running at the center
of the green as we see it.
That's going to be just fine.
In fact, this is going to be a heck of a shot.
Wow. That was spectacular.
He's played one heck of a round
considering where he was hitting it.
Incredible, incredible birdie there.
Back live just in time to see
McElroy's ball go in the hole.
What a little pitch shot that was beautiful.
Been in grind mode. Another look.
Make you feel a little bit
better here late in the round.
This is McElroy.
What's left for a third?
Well, I'm Pete. I didn't just want
to punish you for short siding.
He hits this so hard it's it's almost
reminiscent of Jack Nicholson Tiger Woods.
You know they had the strength to speed.
And he got great contact.
Look at that. That is freakish.
Took half the turf on this
whole with him at the club.
McElroy at the 8th with his third
trying to make this McElroy.
Number three player in the world
getting it to just 123 yards to the pin.
Wow, he's leaving himself about
three feet to get the two under par
and join himself with Ludwig over.
Flight sit down on a pretty
good line here guys.
Yes it is, and if he's got those
going and able to flight the wedges
down, he's pretty tough to beat.
Back with McElroy, his second shot to the 15th.
That was a 9 iron from 155.
Went from the left.
Oh, right over the top of it.
Another good swing and that
ball never left the flagstick.
Pitching wedge.
So much for left to the flight.
Yeah, how about right at it?
Now Roy can't overspin this 101
sandwich coming in really low.
He likes it.
Much improved shot by McElroy.
Just spoke about how much better the
wedges have been with that new ball.
We know he's put the hard work
in on that club right there.
It's paying off just a beautiful holdoff wedge.
Can see that perfect balance.
Great tempo fairway at the night.
McElroy on the way.
That's a gap wedge on the way.
Just needs to control the spin.
This is phenomenal looking.
Oh sure is almost hold it again.
15 maybe Rory can sling one in here.
Just a clip with a love which this is physical.
Looks so much like the Tiger hold
shot but generation ago.
Not a lie is no problem at all.
Not going in tight yesterday
from the right side and he's
done it back to back.
15 holes have been good to him this week.
This is a draw on a very aggressive line.
Is it ever and it worked out to perfection?
Make that three than three golf
balls on the green.
What a shot from Rory McElroy.
You hit it straight through that little gap.
Takes a huge swing.
The ball pops out of there and if
it carries the front bunker,
this could be great.
Sure did. Stop.
Brakes right there, Terry.
Overstate how great that just was.
That ball was some four inches down there.
It is a front right hole location.
Kids not easy to get to knowing
that whole location he laid back
down the full yardage so he could
get maximum spin and landed that
perfectly just off the cart path.
Close now played it from the grass.
It looked like it might have
played it from the path.
Walking it up like he likes it.
And he should.
Tapping birdie for McElroy.
And McElroy on the way here at 10 call
back into a breeze from his ride.
Aggressive line.
Oh man, really aggressive coming out
of the rock to get rid of that flag.
You just don't want anything
to do with the right side here.
He seems to like it, Brendan.
And as he should, beautiful shot there.
Maybe that'll get Rory McElroy jump started.
So McElroy will have just inside 33 feet.
Rory
pretty good lie over there.
Not a great angle.
This one on a very aggressive
line starts right of the hole.
Have a shot. Good leave here.
It'd be a little short little ride,
so hard to control the spin
when you swing out that hard.
Looks good for weight.
That's incredible.
He's following that wedge nearly
170 yards in the year and he's
got a perfectly whole high.
He's going to try to do the same thing.
Smoother delivery, he's sticking to it.
Easy.
The shorter club would have went full bore.
Sounded a little thin now
turning towards the whole.
This could be good if it gets there.
It's good. Yeah, facts told me
absolutely striped it in his warm
up and he's come out firing.
He makes that it really wakes up
those guys back there coming to 2T.
What a start McElroy pays off the
closest shot at the second so far.
Today it is the Birdie Eagle start on
this shot getting it in the fairway.
Well, he is taking it down that left
side up and over those pine trees.
This could be really good.
I'm gonna tell you you couldn't stamp
it out there any better than that.
I mean, that is absolutely perfect.
This thing is a mile in the air.
Left of the pin might need to take a seat.
Smartly played perfectly flag high.
Advantage McElroy put some pace behind it.
And it's two differently
with that one shot lead.
And Roy's got another players title.
World number two with his second
and setting the table here for what
could be a very special year for McElroy.
