Once upon a time in a kingdom not so far away, there lived a beautiful young girl with skin as
white as snow, lips as red as roses and hair as black as ebony. She was loved by everyone in the
kingdom except for her stepmother and stepsisters. They were jealous of her beauty and treated her
like a servant, forcing her to do all the housework while they lounged about doing nothing all day.
But Cinderella didn't mind. She was a kind and gentle soul and believed that one day
things would get better. And they did. One evening while Cinderella was sweeping the floor,
she heard a commotion coming from her stepsister's rooms. She went to investigate and saw them
getting ready for the royal ball being held in the king's castle. The stepsisters were so excited
because it was rumored that the prince was going to be there and every girl in the kingdom wanted
to meet him. Cinderella wanted to go to the ball too, but she knew her stepmother wouldn't let her.
As if reading her mind, her stepmother said,
Why don't you go to your room and stay there until we come back? We don't want you getting
in our way. Cinderella sighed and went to her room, which was at the back of the house and
had no window. It was dark and dusty and all Cinderella had to keep her spirits up was the
thought of the beautiful ball. She sat on her little bed thinking of ways to sneak out when
startled. Cinderella turned around to see a beautiful fairy godmother standing in front of
her. Don't be scared, child. I'm here to help you. Cinderella explained how her stepsisters
had been mean to her and how she wanted to go to the ball. But her fairy godmother just smiled
and waved her magic wand. Well, then let's get you ready. Cinderella was skeptical, but she
couldn't say no to her fairy godmother. So she allowed herself to be led into the bathroom where
her fairy godmother waved her magic wand over a pumpkin and it turned into a golden carriage.
Then she waved her magic wand over some mice and they turned into horses. And finally,
she turned Cinderella's rags into a beautiful blue dress. Oh, thank you, fairy godmother. You're so
kind, Cinderella said, hugging her. But I still have to get back before midnight. Remember,
the magic will only last until then. Cinderella's fairy godmother nodded and with a wave of her
magic wand, she disappeared. Cinderella got into the carriage and went to the ball.
When she arrived, all eyes turned to her as she walked into the ballroom. Even the prince stopped
dancing to take a good look at her. Cinderella felt like a princess. She danced with the prince
and had the time of her life. Suddenly, Cinderella remembered her fairy godmother's warning.
She told the prince it was so nice meeting him and hurried out of the ballroom.
She ran as fast as she could. But as she was running, she lost one of her glass slippers.
The prince saw this and immediately sent his guards after her. But they couldn't find her.
When Cinderella got home, she quickly changed back into her rags. Then she went to check if
the prince had found her slipper. He hadn't. But news of the beautiful girl who lost a shoe at the
All the girls were trying on the shoe to see if it fit, but it was no use. It only fit Cinderella.
Just then, the prince came to her house and asked if he could buy the shoe from her.
Cinderella was shocked. She couldn't believe the prince had actually found her house.
She was also scared to go back to the castle with him, but she knew it was her chance to escape her
miserable life, so she took a deep breath and agreed. At the castle, Cinderella tried on the
shoe, but it didn't fit. The stepsisters were laughing at her, saying she wasn't the girl the
prince was looking for. Then Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared and with a wave of her magic
wand, the shoe fit perfectly. The prince was overjoyed. He couldn't believe he had finally
found the girl who lost a shoe at the ball. He took Cinderella's hand and said,
Will you marry me? Cinderella was in shock. She had never imagined the prince would ask her to
marry him. But before she could answer, her stepmother and stepsisters stepped forward.
You can't marry him, Cinderella. You're just a servant, they said, sneering.
Cinderella was furious. She had had enough of their bullying. With a wave of her magic wand,
her fairy godmother made the stepsisters' dresses turn inside out and Cinderella's fairy godmother
said, Now you can clean my chimney. The stepsisters started crying, but Cinderella's
fairy godmother ignored them and turned to the prince. Now, are you sure you want to marry this
girl? she asked. The prince was confused. He didn't understand why Cinderella's fairy godmother
was behaving so strangely. But Cinderella took her fairy godmother's hand and said,
I love the prince and I want to marry him. Her fairy godmother smiled and waved her magic wand,
making Cinderella's dress sparkle. That's what I thought you'd say, she said.
Now, let's go to the altar. Everyone stared at Cinderella's fairy godmother in disbelief.
How could she possibly make them disappear? Was she really a fairy godmother?
As the wedding began, Cinderella's fairy godmother stood in front of everyone and said,
Today is a very special day. Not only are we celebrating the marriage of two people in love,
but we are also celebrating the triumph of good over evil.
The stepsisters and the prince looked down in shame.
They had been so mean to Cinderella and now she was going to marry the prince.
Suddenly, the stepsisters started crying. They felt so bad for treating Cinderella so badly.
Cinderella's fairy godmother waved her magic wand and poof,
the stepsisters' dresses turned back to normal. The prince was shocked.
He couldn't believe Cinderella's fairy godmother had forgiven his stepsisters.
He knelt down in front of Cinderella and said, Will you marry me?
Cinderella was so happy. She had never felt this loved before.
She said yes and they were married in a beautiful ceremony.
For the reception, Cinderella's fairy godmother made the food taste even better than it looked
and the music was so beautiful that everyone danced.
After the party, Cinderella and the prince went to their room.
They were both exhausted, so they decided to take a nap before getting ready for bed.
Suddenly, Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared again.
It's time to go home, dearies, she said.
Cinderella and the prince were confused. Why did she keep appearing out of nowhere?
We want to stay here, Cinderella said, but your place is with your people.
Her fairy godmother replied, It's time for you to start your new life.
Cinderella and the prince hugged her goodbye and then they disappeared.
Back at the castle, Cinderella and the prince were greeted by their loyal subjects.
Everyone cheered and celebrated their return.
Cinderella was so happy to be home. She missed her people and she was glad to be back.
She and the prince ruled the kingdom together and everyone lived happily ever after.
Except for the stepsisters, they returned to their old lives,
but they never forgot what it was like to be treated like garbage.
They started volunteering at an animal shelter and donating to charities.
They also apologized to Cinderella for being mean to her.
She forgave them and they all became friends.
And that is the story of Cinderella.
The end. Thank you for watching.
