Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel.
I hope you're having a fantastic day so far.
I hope wherever you are in the world,
today has been treating you well.
In today's video, I am going to be getting into
this box of goodies here.
I ordered some products from Technic
and I'm gonna be doing a full face of Technic makeup.
I already have my foundation and concealer on.
They are, of course, from Technic.
These are ones that came out last summer and I love them.
These are the Triple Wave Foundation and Serum Concealer.
I've already put these on because I didn't get
any new foundation or concealer products.
But there is a brow product in here
that I am very excited about.
So let's get into it.
I also wanted to start this video by saying,
if you want to buy anything from Technic,
I have a discount code.
I'm very excited to share it with you.
If you haven't seen my channel before,
so many products from Technic are firm favorites
and it will always be honest.
I will always give my honest opinion.
If I don't like these products,
you will be hearing about it.
But if there is anything that you want to pick up,
you can use the code Millie10 to get 10% off your orders
on the Technic website.
I will leave everything linked down below
that I am testing today,
as well as any products that aren't new.
But let's try and get into this box.
There we go.
So like I say,
order confirmation to prove to you
that I did actually order these products.
I did actually order them.
I spent my own money on them.
So let's see.
What have we got here?
When I asked over on Instagram
what products you wanted to see me test,
so many of you said that you wanted to see
the Glow Veil Luminous Baked Blush.
So I got one of those.
Got a contour stick.
I got two eyeliners.
Ooh, goodness me, I'm making a mess.
Two eyeliners, crayon eyeliners.
So we'll see how they go.
I got a lip stain pen thing.
Brows.
This is what I wanted to start with.
This is the Featherweight Brow Pen.
Microbladed effect.
This is what the packaging looks like.
I think I went for warm brown.
Yes, because I need warm colours now
rather than just like the darkest brown that they do.
They had a darker one than this,
but this is warm.
There we go.
So it's got a ball inside.
I can hear it.
It's very liquidy.
And ooh, that is the tiniest,
teeny tiniest little brush.
Yes, it's a brush.
Okay, so this is what I'm born with.
Zero brow.
So I need help.
Let's see.
I don't have the best look with brow pens.
I really like the MUA one.
Let me zoom you in.
Oh my goodness.
This is so pigmented.
Might be too pigmented.
Let me, I'm scared now.
I'm scared.
Okay, so I did just have to run through my brows
just with a clean spoolie
just to try and diffuse that colour a little bit
because the first few swipes there were intense.
They were a lot.
But if you want a brow pen
and you need a lot of help
and you don't like the brow pens that are quite sheer,
you need a lot of help to build up that colour in your brow
because that is me.
That is my issue.
That is one of the best brow pens I've ever tried.
That is the best brow pen I've ever tried.
That is so pigmented right out of the gate.
And unlike some brow pens,
Elf, I'm looking at you,
I actually managed to get two brows on.
So it's already twice as good as the Elf one
because that one gave me one singular brow
and then dried up and nothing else came out.
I have brows and they are so natural.
Like the floof, the hair strokes.
I really like the colour.
It's not too warm.
I think if you were just brunette and not orange,
you would still quite like that colour, yeah.
So far, so good.
Right, let me zoom you out
and we can get onto that contour stick.
I'm excited about that one as well.
So the contour stick came in three shades
and I decided to go for the middle shade
which was cool medium
because the lightest shade looked very, very light.
And although I am a fair to light skin tone,
I am very, very pale.
I do still like to look quite bronzy.
So let's get into this.
This is the Technique contour, easy blend contour stick.
And the lightest shade looked really cool toned
where although this is called cool medium,
I feel like that colour still looks beautiful.
Okay.
Very, very pigmented.
Okay, I actually think what I will do then
in light of that,
which I should have swapped the brow pen
before I just went straight onto my eyebrows,
I think I will just take that product
on the Real Techniques expert face brush.
I will take that product,
like that's blended out to a really nice colour there.
And let's bronze up like this.
Rather than drawing this on,
I think I will fare a little bit better
picking the product up on the brush.
Not that that's generally an issue.
I have the blush sticks in this range
and I can draw those directly on the skin
but that looks a lot more pigmented.
Like these look a lot more pigmented than the blush ones
and I just want a little bit more control with it.
So let's add some colour back into this skin
because that foundation that I used,
which like I say was the Technique one,
it was the triple wave serum foundation and concealer,
they are so much coverage,
like a lot of coverage,
which is really, really beautiful.
It's a beautiful foundation and concealer
but I do need to add the shape back into my face.
This colour, like do I look like I've been on holiday now?
Have I stepped foot outside in the last three months?
No, no I have not.
I have stepped outside, got into my car,
got out of my car, got into my place of work
and returned again and that is as much time
as I have spent in the sun outside.
But that colour, that finish, I love these Technique,
I love these, I actually did a video last week
as you're seeing this,
where I was talking about my favourite blushes,
specifically glowy blushes
and the Technique blush versions of these
were in that, I love those
and that contour, I would say that this is a bronzer
for my skin tone anyway,
I would say that this is a warm bronzy colour
but that is beautiful
and that blended out so, so nicely.
So this is probably the product
that I am most excited about
because it's a glowy blush,
like I was just saying.
So let's get into this packaging,
I am certain that I am going to break a nail today
getting into all of this.
Let's try not to though, let's try not to.
So like I say, this is the Glow Veil
luminous baked blusher
and I got this in the shade Blissful.
That's beautiful, that is so beautiful.
I love blush, in case it's not completely apparent,
I love blush.
So let me clean off this brush a little bit on my hand.
It's not clean, is anything ever.
Let's see, how pigmented are we going to be?
I mean, I like a lot of blush, I'm not scared of blush.
Okay, so it's not too pigmented
but that is beautiful and glowy.
I mean, it's literally in the name
but that is luminoso but half the price,
less than half the price.
I may have to do a side-by-side comparison with that one
and luminoso, you know,
because that is very, very pretty.
I'm trying to like move my head
so that it captures the light.
Promise I'm not having some sort of medical emergency
that makes me jerk my head around.
That blush is beautiful
and I feel like now that we're getting through
that top layer, it's getting a little bit,
like a little bit pinker in the middle there.
I was excited about these but that is very, very pretty.
That's a beautiful colour
and I think, again, I think they had three shades of these.
So am I going to go ahead and order the other three,
the other two?
Sorry, so that I've got the full set.
I couldn't possibly comment.
So I don't have an eyeshadow palette.
They did have, it was like the cream,
it was called like the cream palette or something like that.
It was not calling out to me.
It wasn't the new cream eyeshadow palettes.
They weren't feeling very inspiring to me
but what was were these.
So if you don't know, the liquid liners,
metallic liquid liners that Technic brought out,
I do believe last summer,
they're a liquid, they're a brush tip,
they're absolutely fantastic.
They are 10 out of 10.
They are some of my favourite liquid liners of all time.
They don't budge.
I did a short when I first got them.
I will link that up above.
I'm in a completely different filming room.
It was so long ago.
But they brought out like pencil versions.
So of course I got the green and the purple.
I'm thinking I might do some sort of
green into purple wing moment.
That's the plan.
So these are the Technic Euphoria Gel Eyeliner Pencils
and I am going to have to find some sort of tweezers
to get into this packaging.
BRB.
Oh my goodness, that took me a little bit of time
but I did just want to mention on the packaging here,
it says add a shot of vibrant colour to the eyes
with these super soft metallic gel liners.
That is what I like.
So we've got purple.
I want to see how sort of smudgy these are.
You could use it as like an eyeshadow pen.
I'm having ideas now.
So did that have some sort of special name
or was it just purple?
It was purple.
And then the green one is green.
Thanks for coming.
Thanks for watching, I swear.
Oh, where did that go then?
Did anybody see where that went?
I mean it would help if my table wasn't covered
in literally everything.
But very, very creamy, very blendable.
Okay, so do I sharpen this?
I have a sharpener.
It's here.
Okay, so they are very creamy.
They are a very, very soft pencil.
I still haven't found the end
that fell on my table somewhere
but I'm gonna try and do like a green into purple wing.
See if I can smudge it out with some sort of
looking for some sort of liner brush.
I'm just going to figure this out
and then show you
rather than trying to do this live
because clearly, clearly I am a mess today.
Every day, but like obviously.
Okay, so naturally you can't be
very, very precise with these
because as you're using it,
it's sort of dulling that point.
So I did just have to sharpen those quite a few times
to try and keep it a little bit precise
but they are so creamy.
They have blended together.
I have got the perfect like ombre across the eye.
That is beautiful.
I can't do a full day wear test today
due to the fact it's already so close to my bedtime
but I will report back how long lasting these are
because I do feel like they are,
not that I can feel them setting down
but as I was like trying to blend them,
I could feel that they were drying down.
I could feel that they were sort of smudging less
and blending together less and moving around less
like the longer that they've been left on the skin.
They are sort of setting down a little bit.
So I'm interested to see the lasting power of these.
I do also think, and I, again,
I won't be able to try it today
but these in the waterline,
I bet that they would be really, really long lasting
in the waterline.
I love the colour but it's slightly less metallic
than what I was expecting.
It is more of like a satiny finish
rather than the liquid liners
that are like true glitter reflective.
They're different.
I was expecting them to be a little bit more reflective
but they are such an incredible colour,
such an incredible colour payoff.
I am impressed.
So we've got a new mascara as well
which granted probably isn't the vibe.
I didn't think this through
but this is a burgundy mascara.
This is the Luxe Lash Coloured Mascara in Warm Burgundy.
This is what the packaging looks like.
And let's see.
Tweezers again.
Well, tweezers.
Lash applicator because of course
I can't find tweezers on command.
Let's see what this brush is like.
I like a natural bristled hourglass, quite big brush.
So not at all like what we've got here
but that's fine.
It's a plastic bristle, quite long and spiky.
Okay, let's see what we can do here.
I don't think we're going to be able to see the colour
too much on top of this very intense wing, but let's see.
Okay, first impression.
It's very lengthening.
It's very, I mean, I can see the colour.
I love the colour.
That is a beautiful, warm,
I mean, the name is Warm Burgundy, I get it.
But I do feel like I can see the colour
despite the fact that I have got all of that liner on.
I do feel like I can still see the warmth
from that burgundy colour.
It's very lengthening.
It's quite volumizing, but like more so it's lengthening.
Like my lashes look so long,
they are like touching just underneath my eyebrows.
So lengthening, not what I usually go for in a mascara
but I actually think that that looks lovely.
And the addition of that colour
and I can't stop looking at my skin.
Look at that glow.
I love blush, I love blush.
Okay, so now we've just got a lip product.
Let me zoom you back out.
So this says that it is the Nude Edit Liquid Lip Liner.
Enhance your lip symmetry
and get the lip blush effect without the commitment
with this water resistant liquid lip liner.
I'm a little bit scared.
This is in the shade Nudie.
They had some really nice,
they had one that was like Berrylicious or something.
Had the cutest name,
but I thought I'm gonna be doing a purple and green wing.
Let's go for a nude.
This has got the same sort of weird ball felt tip applicator
as the Made by Mitchell ones.
And I absolutely hated those.
They were sticky.
They felt like liquid vinyl being drawn onto your lips
and then it dried down and it sort of went awful.
Hated them.
I'm fairly certain I've decluttered them actually.
So let's see if these are the same.
I'm hoping not.
I'm hoping not,
but I'll be able to tell straight away if these are better.
So keep your fingers crossed for me.
I'm scared.
I'm scared, but also excited
because it should be a product that I really enjoy.
Lip liner is one of my favourite steps.
So, hmm.
I know I just said that I would be able to tell
on first application.
They're not the same as the Made by Mitchell ones.
It's less sticky.
It's more thin, also more pigmented.
Somehow feels thinner on, like as it's drawing on.
My problem with the Made by Mitchell ones is as I did that,
my lips were sticking together.
And it's not with this one.
I'm not sure on the colour.
The colour is more dark pink than what I was expecting.
I was expecting a lighter, nuder pink, but not sticky.
Not at all sticky.
So this should be now really nice and long lasting.
Again, can't report on that currently,
but that is how that's looking.
I'm just gonna put a little bit of lip oil on
because I didn't get any new lip products.
Let's just put a little bit right in the middle.
And then, I'm very impressed with a lot of these products.
I am very, very impressed.
So what we tested out that's new,
the Brow Pen, I love that, I love that a lot.
If you haven't seen my channel before,
then firstly, hello, welcome.
Thanks for watching this far.
I do always ramble like this.
I do these videos throughout the month
and then at the end of the month,
I come back and I tell you my thoughts
when I've had more time to play
with all of these new products.
Once I've had more time to test things in different ways,
test them over full days, et cetera.
So, I will report back at the end of the month
with all of these products,
but first impressions, that Brow Pen is fantastic.
I don't think my brows have ever looked
so natural and fluffy and the hair strokes truly are hairs.
It's just so natural and fluffy looking.
I love that.
The bronzer, that colour is fantastic.
I'm glad I went for medium,
despite the fact that I am Casper the ghost.
Medium worked really, really well for me,
blended out so, so beautifully.
I don't know in terms of range,
I don't know how deep the deepest one is, for example,
but for me, medium, perfect, chef's kiss.
I'm 100% gonna get more of these blushes
because that is beautiful.
I already feel like I need to refilm that roundup video
because that glowy blush, do be glowy blushing.
I love that.
The eyeliners, they're not as metallic
as I thought they were going to be,
but they're a beautiful colour.
Again, so creamy, so blendable.
As of yet, no transfer,
but it has only been like 20 minutes, so.
But there have been eyeliner crayons
that have smudged on me in 20 minutes,
despite the fact that I have such dry skin.
For some reason, my eyelids are really oily.
Make it make sense.
I simply cannot.
But the colours are so intense.
I can't remember what the other colours are.
I'm fairly certain there's a blue.
Probably will be buying that as well.
I love the mascara.
Again, it's not, on first impressions,
it's not the sort of mascara that I usually go for.
I usually go for something more thickening,
more volumising, more dramatic, but I love the colour.
The colour is beautiful.
I will report back once I've tried that,
just on like, just maybe concealer and a bit of bronzer
on the eye and then a bold lip.
That's how I will wear a burgundy mascara.
I think that that colour is beautiful.
And it was, again, very, very quick and like easy to apply.
I love that.
And the liquid lip liner.
I mean, it's still there,
but also it was two and a half seconds ago I applied it.
So the colour isn't necessarily my favourite.
It's darker than what I was expecting it to be,
but also it was a lot more comfortable.
So again, I will look into the different shades
and maybe pick up a slightly lighter shade.
But again, that is on me.
That is, you know, me ordering a shade
that wasn't quite right for me.
So I would love to know,
what do you think of all of these products?
Have you tried anything from Technic recently
that you think I need to try?
I have a few Technic reviews on my channel already.
I will link any relevant videos down below.
Like I say, you can use the code,
not say the shade,
you can use the code Millie10
for 10% off your orders on the Technic website.
I'll leave everything linked down below.
That is an affiliate code and they are affiliate links
that will be in the description box.
You don't have to use them,
but it does support my channel if you decide to use them.
So thank you so much if you do.
And if you do pick anything up,
you have to let me know what you think of it
because that is my favourite part.
Hearing what you think of products that I love as well.
I wanna know what you think of everything.
I wanna know down in the comment section,
over on Instagram, carry a pigeon.
Let me know because I need to know all of the goss.
But until next time,
thank you ever so much for watching.
Bye bye.
Bye.
