Shelter Me: Meet 4-month-old Jack Russell pup, Charlie!

in today's Shelter Me we're introducing you to a puppy that will bring a lot of love to a lucky family oh is he cute he is so cute his name is Charlie he's an energetic bundle of joy and here's Cesaly Tinen with his [Music] story for this week's Shelter Me angie Lefon with Riley Rescue is back with us thank you so much and this little boy Charlie oh my gosh he's so cute tell me about this guy so he's 4 months old he's a Jack Russell Terrier and he came from a puppy mill um when they couldn't sell him we ended up getting him so yeah well thank goodness because I mean it seems like people understand more about about puppy mills in Yeah I agree i think a lot of people know what they're supporting now and I think that they realize that you can adopt anything um as long as you're patient enough and you know where to go um we get all breeds in all the time and we get puppies we get adults we get them all so yeah yeah so tell me about Charlie's personality and and what would be the perfect family so Charlie's a little more energetic than most dogs but um a lot of people like that so it's you know he's a fun little spunky guy um and he definitely needs somebody that has a yard that can provide exercise um with or without another dog is fine a fencing yard would be a plus but not a requirement yeah but he's just you know he definitely is a typical Jack Russell Terrier who needs a lot of exercise i I think a lot of people think smaller dogs are easy and they can just be lap dogs but you really have to research the breed right absolutely this is not a lap dog type of dog like he definitely is like on the go to run around so what should somebody do if they want to adopt Charlie they can go to our website at rileyrescue.org at rcue.org and fill an application and we'll be in touch if I didn't already have three dogs I I'd be bringing them home so cute one more [Music] a he's cute if you'd like to adopt Charlie or see any of the other dogs that we featured you can head to 6abc.com/shelterme
