CONDEMNED - They Just Left, Exploring a Sad and Curious Abandoned Family Home

what is up guys welcome back to another photography urbex adventure guys this one is an unplanned adventure uh there's this abandoned house that i know about i've known about this house for well probably about four years and uh i've driven by this house here and there and i've always wondered what's up with this house because where i am guys i'm in the middle of a very normal residential neighborhood in a very normal ontario town curtains and blinds in the windows and some other things i'm not going to say to give it away but guys this house is basically an abandoned derelict very nice home from the outside on a street full of other very nice houses let's get right to it guys cue the music cue the intro see you guys on the other side [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay guys let's start with a look at these tattered curtains here i'm gonna take a quick look at the backyard through this little hole here and if you take a look through there there's a swimming pool in the backyard very overgrown as you can see so we're gonna start in the kitchen pretty nice standard kitchen island in the middle there um looks like most of the appliances are gone the fridge is gone the stove is gone microwave remains as does the dishwasher but we've got this island here what i can tell you is the people who lived here were very uh devote jehovah's witnesses and i can also tell you that the person people who lived here someone passed away a number of years ago of a chronic illness they were hospitalized for quite some time and i do know that there is an ongoing estate dispute surrounding this home in this property so as a result of that this home is basically left in this abandoned condition and no one's taken care of it guys got some ground pepper here a whole thing of ground pepper blows my mind guys to come in and see these houses where the families have just done very very little to take care of things it's all this stuff here what a mess guys what a mess oh hey check out the cereal cereal boxes here today we got a lot of cheerios regular cheerios multi-grain cheerios honey nut cheerios corn flakes i mean in terms of things like if there's a dispute with the family which there clearly is sorry check this out these are always interesting as i was saying if there is a dispute with the family you think that maybe they would assign two two people to check on the place to take care of the place and you know make sure it doesn't fall into such disrepair like this like this one is obviously uh maybe to you know parties that are removed from the legal proceedings that can at least come in and check on the place and take care of things so here's the front door it's been all sealed off with this stuff here so you can't see inside here is a fly trap completely covered with flies from at least 10 years guys i believe this house has been in this condition for about 10 years there's your stairs there we'll go upstairs in a bit let's go back through the kitchen and we'll go around and close these back up so moving in here into what looks there'll be a dining room or a living room area a big mess on the floor here from whatever that is uh you got some very old tattered blinds covering the windows here and you just got a lot of boxes full of stuff jehovah's witness materials dvds and books and we got a china cabinet we got in here we got here for kids coffee maker with a boiling sound fondue plates black lights cassette tapes living with diabetes lion king so much stuff not necessarily valuable stuff just stuff oops it almost seems as if the people who own the place maybe started to try and pack things up but for whatever reason they got stalled or they got held up or something look at all this stuff on the floor there's a bed here this is a motorized bed to help lift yourself up so maybe the person was uh cooped up in this room right here in this bed it's hard to know what to focus on in here there's just so much stuff everywhere nhl version of monopoly the big fake tree goes up to the high ceiling there some pictures here of people see guys there's just so much stuff i don't even know where to look this would have been a really nice living room at some point all right there's a box full of kids toys here get over here without breaking anything back at the front door guys and we're gonna make our way through here there's a bathroom over here storage area here [Music] this door here goes outside which has been completely blocked off by all this stuff got some skates here right there so you've got some skates roller blades and now the garage don't think we can get in the garage it's not very safe but i will just give you guys a quick look through here it's just been dumped with stuff there's just stuff there's a ladder down there there's a little bicycle some shoes some more ladders tv and humidifier way in the back over there it's uh yeah it just looks like a little bit of a death trap so i'm not gonna go down there and investigate but if you look way off in the yonder as a mirror and it'll give you guys a what is up guys in the mirror off in the distance all right guys coming back from the uh garage got a little baby shoe there got some canned food here looks like somebody did a last grocery run but those groceries were never used you've got all kinds of canned foods and stuff in there got some animal uh capturing cages in here throughout the house okay guys we're gonna make our way upstairs now and check out some of the rooms upstairs in this house a bunch of broken glass here as you can see this is the bathroom here and the the window there is boarded up with cardboard someone threw something in and broke the glass okay so we'll head on into the bathroom here and okay teddy bear here lambie or something one hour photo nothing there you know looks like the mice have had some fun in here so what is up guys all right let's go to the end and make our way around a bunch of stuffed wine bottles and stuff oh there's a bed in here there's a doll hiding in the back there saying what's up yeah what's this i don't like going through drawers every once in a while i might open them up it's this it's a one dollar bill all folded up look at that's an american one dollar bill all folded up there a bunch of pencil crayons here we got here bunch of books in here guys okay guys checking out inside this closet here and nothing much but an old skateboard deck there you go it's a football on the floor right there and some bingo dabbers or something i don't know not much everything's just in shambles here guys trip on these bottles here holy let's head on into here just bags full of stuff guys clothes oh man okay guys inside the closet here we've got some backpacks and some clothes you got a little creepy doll right there and we'll head our way through here okay check this out guys checking out some of these drawers here and i found a uh some unopened barbies with some barbie costumes and then when you open this one here you've got a bunch more of these little dolls unopened still in the box live they're called live never heard of it guys her name is sophie and then we head on over here got some more from bfc inc that's a barbie right there interesting moving on guys okay guys let's just keep moving on here i did find some documents there that tell a little bit of a sad story which it's not for us to read it's not our it's not for us to know about so we're going to just leave that paper there we're not going to look at it we're just going to continue we're not going to pry too much here we are exploring a what seems to be a vacant and an abandoned house and um yeah i don't want to dig too much into the history here because it does not tell a good story of the family and that's not for us to look into or to know about so we're just going to keep going guys all right another bedroom here obviously there was a number of children in this house by all the uh the various many bedrooms so yeah a t-shirt there mp3 player cd player and i sure hoped that whenever they left this place that the kids and the people took the stuff that they wanted you know oh let's keep moving around here just take a quick look through the bedroom here guys okay guys this room's a little overwhelming this is a young girl's room got a lot of books here uh again uh jehovah's witness family it's very dusty in here a little bit overwhelmed with this one guys i've got another bedroom here it's just mostly stuff boxed up not really much to look at in this room all right let's keep going we're already in there so it looks like we got one more room to go guys and it's the main master bedroom here is a storage closet and then we go and look way over there guys there's a baby's crib in this master bedroom we'll get to that in a minute bathroom here looks like it has been ripped apart shower removed floor removed toilet removed and then there's no bed there's a there's a headboard in there man somebody has been through this place and just tossed everything so there's the uh curtains that you see it's not really curtains it's bed sheets covering the windows and you can see from outside kind of one of the things that gives that gave me a hint that this house might be abandoned from the outside is the way that the curtains are hanging and some of the windows around the house a lot of jehovah's witness uh materials books and magazines and literature laying around and then here it is guys here's the baby's crib it doesn't make the uh the most happiest and most positive of of images looking at this in here seeing this baby's crib left like this okay guys get a little overwhelmed here [Music] so all right guys let's head downstairs and we'll wrap this one up i'll see you guys downstairs oh wait a minute we got a big walk-in closet in here guys you gotta check out all kinds of stuff in here man who does handwriting i can't i found jesus long before i came to know his father jehovah read all that curious george complete adventures deluxe book and cd gift set oh man it's a doll right there okay now i'm gonna go downstairs meet you guys down there okay guys that wraps this one up i guess uh not much more to say at least i'm happy to say guys that there's really not much stuff of value in here so anything that's maybe of sentimental value or financial value has been taken which is a good thing because how many times guys have i gone through houses like this when there's so much valuable stuff left behind just to waste mostly guys we got some like books paperwork magazines dishes food stuff that's okay to be left behind in my opinion anyway so i'm very glad to see guys that at least this house
