In this video I will tell you and show you how to crochet a super soft and stylish bag 😍
Even a beginner can do it, crocheting is very simple!)
We will need:
✨A little more than 1 skein of yarn ( about 130g ) i used Luna Art Baby Fox in 100g -125m
✨Hook 8 mm (optional 6 mm)
✨Scissors
✨Markers
Hi everyone! My name is Kate and today I will tell you and show you how to crochet this bag
and in addition to it a heart keychain. It looks very stylish. I crocheted it with a fluffy yarn,
so it's nice to touch and suitable for the winter season. Let's get started! I used fluffy yarn
Aluna Art Baby Fox in 100 grams, 125 meters. We will need a little more than one key. Also,
we'll need a hook 8 millimeters and another smaller one, I have 6 millimeters, scissors,
needle and markers. Okay, let's get started! First, we need to measure from the end of the yarn
about 160 centimeters and at this place we'll make the first loop right here.
The yarn that leads to the end we cut on the hook like this. We have like two loops on the hook,
then we crochet them with the yarn that leads to the key.
Like this. Then again we put the yarn that leads to the end on the hook and then we crochet two
stitches with the yarn that leads to the bow. That's how we'll get our chain of stitches.
The length of this chain folded in half will be the height of our bag. I'll cast on 36 stitches.
Folded in half will be the height of the bag.
Okay, I have 36 stitches and it's about 40 centimeters.
We make a chain one and we need to find the second stitch. The one on the hook doesn't count,
it's first and it's a second. Insert the hook into the second loop like this,
like this, grab the yarn, bring it out and crochet two loops on the hook, like this.
Then insert the hook into the next stitch and do the same thing.
That's how we do the rest of the row. Here the last stitch, crocheted
and this how our first row looks like. Chain one, turn our work and again in the second stitch,
this is first, this is second, okay, we put the hook under the V of second stitch like this,
grab the yarn and pull through two loops on the hook. This way we crocheted upwards,
this will be the width of our bag, okay. And don't forget to crochet the last stitch at the end.
In total I'm going to make 23 rows. Here the last stitch, crocheted,
chain one and turn your work. Continue crocheting upwards 23 rows.
I crocheted 23 rows, this is the main part of my bag and it's about 25 cm.
Don't cut the yarn, we need it to sew the side parts. Fold in half the work and this is the size
of your bag. Now we'll crochet the sides for this bag and for this we need markers.
From the highest stitch I count 15 stitches down and put a marker on 15th one.
On the other side in the same way at 15th stitch I put a marker.
Between the markers remains six stitches. Let's begin crocheting the side parts.
Again measure about 60 cm from the end and cast on 15 stitches in the same way
we continue crocheting single crochets. In total we crocheted 6 rows.
I crocheted the first piece, 6 rows and we need to crochet the second one.
Cut the yarn and take it out of the loop.
Use a needle to hide all the ends in the side pieces between the stitches.
Find the side braids and insert the hook into the first one. Like this.
Grab the yarn with a hook and take it out through the loop. Make a chain one.
Then in the same stitch we do another single crochet.
Then in the second braid insert a hook and make a single crochet.
Let's crocheted all 15 stitches on the side.
Last stitch and I remove the marker. And now we are going to crochet the bottom.
We have 6 stitches for it. There are the loops, we are going to put the hook in.
That's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 stitches. Insert the hook into this place
and make a single crochet.
Next, insert the hook not at the hole,
under this V. Do you see it? Under this V. And continue crocheting.
Now we've done 6 stitches and we take off the marker and continue crocheting to the end.
If your yarn is over, take a new one and do the same way as I did.
We've done the first side and now we just have to hide the ends on the wrong side of the bag.
Crochet the second side part in the same way. Insert the hook into the first 2 stitches,
make a chain one, then another single crochet and so on to the end.
The last stitch and I'm not cutting the yarn. I'm going to use it to crochet
single crochets around the bag. For this I need a smaller hook, but you can stay with an
8 mm hook. We put the hook into the nearest hole next to the hook and make a single crochet.
There is no specific places to put the hook in these sides. Then look for the next closest hole
and make a single crochet. On the main part it will be easier to crochet.
Crocheting like this all around the bag.
And the last stitch. In the first stitch we make a slip stitch and cut the yarn.
Take the needle and make a seamless connection. Insert the needle under the two strands of the
braid and then insert it into the top strands of the previous braid, like this.
Hide the tail on the wrong side of the bag. This is what we should have.
By the way, you can turn the bag inside out and leave it
this way. Then you will have the sides look a little different.
And now we will crochet the handles. For this we need to make a chain in the usual way.
You can adjust the size yourself. I am making 30 air loops.
In the second stitch through the lower loop we insert the hook. You see, there is an upper
and a lower loop. We insert into the lower one, so that there will be no holes later.
In the same way for the lower loop we make a single crochet till the end.
In the last loop we need to make 4 more stitches
in the same place while gripping the end of the yarn to tighten it later.
1, 2, 3 and 4. And continue crocheting single crochets until the end.
In the last stitch we also have to make 4 more stitches in the same place.
Cut the longer tail and pull it out of the loop.
Make a seamless connection with a needle. And now we just need to sew the handle to the bag.
Place the handle in the center of the bag and sew it with regular stitches and then
hide the tip on the wrong side.
Remains to sew the second edge and crochet the second handle and our bag is ready!
Here is such a cute bag that looks very stylish without a keychain. And now I will
show you how to crochet a heart keychain. Place the yarn in your hand like I did and
make a magic ring. Hold it with your thumb and insert the hook into the ring.
Wrap the yarn and make 3 air loops. 1, 2 and 3. And now we should make a treble crochet.
Yarn over 1 and yarn over 2. Insert the hook into the ring, grab the yarn and now we have 4
loops on the hook. Pull through 2, pull through 2 and pull through 2 again.
Make a second treble crochet in the same way. And the third one, treble crochet,
pull through 2, pull through 2 and pull through 2. And now we should make just a double crochet.
Yarn over the hook, put into the ring, grab the yarn, crochet first 2 loops and then 2 more.
Make 2 more double crochets.
Chain 1. We can slightly tighten the ring. And now we should make a 1 treble crochet again.
Chain 1 and now just 3 double crochet.
Now we make a 3 treble crochet. First, second and third.
Chain 2 and insert the hook into the ring and make a slip stitch. Like this.
Tighten the ring well. Loop can be left or cut off
and hide the yarn. I leave it to hang it on the bag later.
Cut the yarn but don't take out a loop completely. Make 2 knots around the loop like this.
And now we can hide the ends.
And our bag is done! So that's how beautiful it is! I hope you enjoy this video. I'm sure you
are succeeded. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me in the comments.
