Ekaterina KURAKOVA (POL) | Women Free Skating | ISU World Championships | Boston 2025

21st place going into the free here this time her fifth time competing at the world championships and she's thrilled to be in the free that's for sure 22 year old Ekaterina Krakowa for Poland going into that triple salchow a little bit late with a rotation on the lutz gets a double axle on the end scrambles away through the landing of the triple loop in on the toe loop the reason i tell you it's always the same his mind is engaged in the right contemplation of the thought of the thought of his name me I hear a little sound from the pavement As the moon lost her length She was smiling through In the laugh like the willow leaves Collect at my feet And when the wind begins to blow That triple loop she gets a double toe on the end She needed that in combination, triple sal, double toe And there's the double axel What a lovely reception She can't believe it Now that is fantastic Yeah, there's many, many people on their feet in appreciation of the performance And it was a whole performance, wasn't it? It was The sneaky little costume change Lovely interpretation Great choice of music for her And she always comes up with a beautiful program And she's able to portray whatever she goes out there and tries to do Yes, technically not as good Not anywhere near as good as some of the programs we're going to see later But boy oh boy, was it fun Thank you very much, Ekaterina Korakova Katya talks about how four years ago she was skating for others She was skating for everyone else And now she's truly skating for herself And I think we see that in her performance and in her passion for her craft She always skates from the heart, doesn't she? She does There was a really long back inside out edge on this triple salchow But it's well done Heading in here to her triple lutz Technical panel have given it a cue Steps up into a double axel So she's losing about a point on that And into her triple loop Double toe And that went clean It was really a well-rounded performance And such a relief for her on Wednesday to qualify that spot for Poland For the Games next year It's huge, isn't it? Program choreographed by Florian Amodia Who sat alongside So 106.97 She's had 114.76 this year Got that in Skate Canada But I think she'll be thrilled with that And she must be thrilled with the reaction from the crowd If that doesn't inspire you, nothing will Fabulous stuff
