Vital Win! | BORUSSIA DORTMUND - 1. FSV MAINZ 05 | Highlights | Matchday 27 – Bundesliga 2024/25

I mean, he was defending two against one there. Well, that wasn't as easy as it might have been for Robinson. Now, Kaisho Sano. Yeah. Little flick from Burkhardt didn't quite come off. It was disappearing behind him, the ball. Now, Adeyemi, tap in. Niko Slotterbeck was up there, but that's Maximilian Bayer who has the tap in. And they can consider themselves slightly fortunate that for once it went their way. They got a bit of the rub of the green there and the way the ball bubbled. Yeah. And it all came from that moment when they couldn't pick up the loose ball. Yeah, so it is a bit of a transition moment here and this ball right into the center. Now, all of a sudden, they seem to have found that little bit extra. Very much so. Unstoppable. The header from Emre Can doubles Dortmund's delight. It's drilled in with pace, so Emre Can, he just needs to connect. He doesn't have to give pace to the ball. He steals that in well, doesn't he? Bukat does what he can as well. It's it's an awkward one to defend. 20 minutes to play. And if they're going to get themselves back into this game, they need a goal fairly soon. Slotterbeck has been brilliant today. Adeyemi, this time all could save Robin Sentner. Like Robin Hood, he's drawn his arrow and he's let fly. But Robin Sentner was there when he needed to be there. Slotterbeck to deliver another one of those cannonball corners. Oh, he's done it again. This time it's Maximilian Bayer, a second corner assist of the day for Niko Slotterbeck. He has been firing those corners in with alacrity today and an accuracy and a power that has been simply unstoppable. And Mites know all about it. 3-0 now for Borussia Dortmund. Yes, well, it just confirms a point that I often make when it comes to set pieces. It's all about the delivery and the delivery. Once again, a spot on by Niko Slotterbeck here. Right into the six yard box. And they did just that. Needs a good ball in. Waiting, trying to avoid that offside trap. And Miri. Oh, they deserve that. They certainly did. Paul Nebel. It's not out of the question, is it? It's a Mainz goal. Look how hard they have worked for it. Will be checked, of course. Yeah, a lot of grounds to check up on might take a while. There's another one there, but there was certainly no interference with the keeper and another one here. Look. No.
