I had a history of hyperemesis gravidarum
during my first pregnancy. So yeah,
my morning sickness just started.
I informed my OB right away. So
that we will know what to do about the
necessary steps to take and
when to go to the hospital. Was admitted
around week 8 to 9. I am probably
vomiting frequently to the point that
I am vomiting 8 to 10 times a day. 10
to 15 times a day. I cannot count anymore. I
vomit almost every 30 minutes to 1 hour. It's scary because I can't
dehydrate because it might lead
to fluid and electrolyte imbalance and
if I don't feel safe, the
baby inside me will be fine. I am managing
my condition with the help of my OB. I
performed laboratory tests to be
sure that the vomiting and nausea were pregnancy
hormone industri. I also had other medical conditions like hyperthyroidism. When the results were out and everything was normal, it was okay. I was
vomiting but I just went to the
emergency room with the ongoing condition of
pregnancy nausea. IV fluid is now I think it
was NSS for fluid replacement
medications given so before
I mention the medications you have to
really see your OB to be sure and
diagnose all these medications
I mentioned
prescribed by my OB So please do not
selfmedicate if you're having the same
condition as or if you're experiencing the
same symptoms as it's still best
you consult your OB The first
medication given was mezzo ompron
once a day gaviscon three times a day as
care At first care because every 8
hours he couldn't handle it before
8 hours he was vomiting so badly please
timing it to every 4 hours these
medications did not treat or stop the
hyperemesis but at least the interval for
vomiting was close I was admitted I
stayed in the hospital just for
hydration and the medication continued now
he is at home Before if
I vomit almost every hour or every 30 minutes
he last 2 to 4 hours somehow I can
tolerate like spoonful of water He can't go
straight yet he's already half a mother,
I'll give him plenty of water, I'll
increase my intake and every
2 hours I'll eat two spoons of
rice,
he'll be here for dinner this
week around 13 14 15
