Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
In today's video, I really just wanted to sit down and talk about how to actually get
glass skin.
I have countless videos on my YouTube channel talking about how I healed my skin barrier,
my entire skincare routine, and although those are extremely important and it really is how
I got to where my skin is today, I want to talk more in depth and give you guys some
points that go beyond just my skincare routine.
Now when I think of skin health, I really think of someone who's taking care of not
only the external, but the internal as well.
This pointer, I think I'm the most passionate about in this entire video.
I know you've heard this a million times, but just listen up, okay?
Put your seatbelt on and just listen up.
Your water intake will directly affect your daily life.
It is so important for you to be drinking at least two liters, if not a gallon of water
every single day.
Now I don't know if you guys know this, but hear me when I say 75% of America is chronically
dehydrated.
Yes, you heard me right.
When I found that out, I was in shock.
If you really knew the depths of how important your water intake is, you would never skip
a day.
I'm talking organ function.
I'm talking joint lubrication, temperature regulation, waste removal.
How do you expect to eat all that food and not be cleansing that system with something?
Brain function, mood, sleep, energy.
And just when you thought I was done talking about it, I'm not because it's not just about
drinking water now.
Studies have shown that there are more effective ways to drink your water so that it actually
absorbs into your system and gives you all of the benefits.
Example one, Celtic salt.
If you guys don't know what Celtic salt is, it's an extremely high quality salt that is
harvested from the sea.
It's one of the best things that you can be putting in your body.
I just take a small little pinch, put it on my tongue, underneath my tongue, and I immediately
drink water.
What that's going to do is help it absorb better.
And to take it to the next level, if you want to talk about your skin glowing like never
before, you need to be drinking an electrolyte every single day.
The best electrolyte that I found on the market, and this is absolutely unsponsored, is Element.
It has sodium, potassium, magnesium, all these things that you need to, again, help your
water absorb better, keep you better hydrated.
If you are peeing 30 times a day, you're not doing it right, okay?
All that water is just going straight through you, and it's not getting absorbed into yourself.
Try these things and watch your life change.
You're welcome.
My next pointer is going to be switching from coffee to matcha.
Now, I still drink coffee occasionally, okay?
I love the taste of coffee.
But I did notice that alongside not only having such an intense and strong crash from it,
I felt extremely dehydrated.
I just felt that it was not really giving any benefits to my skin.
And if anything, after 45 minutes of feeling amazing, I just felt like crap.
Now with matcha, it's not only an antioxidant, but there's so many other benefits to it.
The main one being, when I drink matcha, I don't get a crash like I do with coffee.
It's a very smooth, consistent high, which I love.
And also, I don't know if you know this, it protects from sun damage.
It's an anti-inflammatory.
If you haven't tried matcha or tried making that switch, highly recommend.
Now switching a little bit to more of an external thing that I do to achieve a glass skin, firm
skin, tight skin.
If you guys don't know who Melanie Simon is, she is this amazing electrical esthetician
who has been in the industry for 20 years, okay?
She knows what she's talking about.
She created this product, which is called the Zip Halo.
If you don't know what this device is, this is basically a microcurrent and a nanocurrent
all together in one.
Now, if you're confused, what's a microcurrent, what's a nanocurrent?
Let me explain.
Microcurrent, the best way to think about it is think immediate results.
In the now, instantly lifting the skin, making it look more glowy, sculpting the skin, toning
the skin.
Think of it like a quick workout for your face.
And when I say nanocurrent, think long-lasting results.
For example, enhancing your collagen production, skin cell regeneration, reducing blemishes.
Again, like I said, with all my pointers in this video, consistency is key.
We are boosting our circulation, we are transforming our face.
I'm going to go ahead and show you guys how this works right now because this device is
freaking amazing.
So, basically, you're going to want to download the Zip app and they have all of these different
exercises that you can choose for your specific need.
I love the lift.
Anything lift, sign me up.
And this is the one I've been doing consistently like two to three times a week.
They actually sent me this crystal gel and this silver gel.
In today's video though, I'm going to use this electric complex and this one actually
came with my Zip Halo.
Now, I'm going to apply four to eight pumps.
Usually, I do eight because I like to make sure that I'm getting my entire neck as well.
Now, I'm going to turn on my device and you can see it has like a nice little glow around
and you can actually sync up your device to the app and do it with her, which I thought
is so cool.
Now, I'm going to begin lifting with firm pressure using upwards and firm motions.
This is consistent firm pressure and you're going to feel a vibration at the end of the
stroke.
That's what tells you to move on to the next stroke.
She starts doing one side and then moves on to the next and you basically just follow
her throughout this entire tutorial.
And the way that this sculpts my skin, you guys, so good.
I'm going to go wipe down the device and wash off the gel.
I'll be right back.
If you've been thinking about starting a microcurrent, now is literally the perfect time.
They're having the most insane deal of the year for their Black Friday.
You can get 20% off with my code at Segonia for the Halo set and also the Superior set
and you can get 25% off of the gels using my code at Segonia gels.
And this is how it dramatically affects the prices of all of them.
I'm going to list them right here.
All right, moving on to my next pointer, which is LED light therapy.
You guys saw in my previous video that I use LED therapy almost every other night.
I use this now.
It is something that has completely transformed my skin because skincare is one thing, but
it can only penetrate so deep.
LED light therapy boosts collagen production and it gets down into your skin barrier further
than any of your skin products can.
Get yourself an LED light that you love.
You will not regret it.
Oh, okay.
This is going to be my last pointer because I don't want to bore you guys, but listen
to me when I say vitamins.
Are you taking your vitamins?
Like are you taking your vitamins and not only taking them, are you taking them consistently?
You think that just when you're sick, that's when you're supposed to take your vitamins?
Does not sound kind of ridiculous.
Why not take your vitamins all year round, build your immune system so you don't get
sick?
Crazy.
I know.
This is your reminder.
I feel like I'm your big sister in this video, but listen to me and listen up.
Okay.
I actually texted my big sister this and she still hasn't done it.
Rebecca, if you're watching this, make your appointment for your yearly checkup.
Okay.
You don't want to just be taking any vitamins.
I'm going to go through a list of the vitamins I take, but don't take the same vitamins as
me.
Everybody needs different things.
That's why it's important to go get your checkup yearly, get your blood work, see what you're
deficient in, see the things that you're not deficient in because you don't want to be
taking too much of a supplement that you already are balanced on.
Once you have your blood work, you're going to look through it, write down all the things
you're deficient in.
You're going to get yourself one of those pill organizers.
Mine is in the kitchen and I'm too lazy to get it, but it basically organizes my pills
from Monday through Sunday.
I never forget.
I have my alarm that reminds me every single day to take my vitamins.
Just like your water intake, if you are simply deficient on a vitamin, it can absolutely
ruin your life.
Like, it can change your mood, it can change the way your body functions, it can change
your day-to-day life.
And don't you want your body to function at its maximum ability?
A list of supplements that I take, if you were wondering, I take omega-3s, I take vitamin
B12, vitamin D, and I also take vitamin C every single day because I'm always trying
to build that immunity.
And just in case you're overwhelmed and didn't think it gets any more complicated, the time
of day that you're taking your vitamins matters, okay?
I have alarms set throughout my day at different times, either taking it with a meal, taking
it first thing in the morning.
The specific one that I take, Bisimbiotica, you have to take it at night.
Read the directions and if your directions doesn't tell you, Google it.
If you're putting in all that work and taking all those vitamins, you obviously want to
make sure that you are getting the benefits of it.
So I rest my case.
Let me know if you guys want a part two of this video, this was so fun for me.
I am so obsessed with just becoming the best version of myself from the inside, from the
out, and I didn't feel like it was fair for me to be posting all these skincare videos
when the internal is just as important, okay?
Balance between the two.
Both are effective, both are important.
Thank you guys for watching, I love you, and I'll see you in the next one, bye!
