weekend Friday night was it Friday night Saturday night Friday night Saturday night at the Westgate Mall in Brockton I've I don't think I've ever been to the Westgate Mall I know my mother used to like to go up there she used to make my father drive her up there to the Westgate Mall I don't know why we had malls around here but she enjoyed it and um now she's gone so but anyway the search uh for the suspect in connection with a double shooting that killed two teenagers and Brockton continues so all went down in Saturday night in the west game Mall how we have cheapened life in our society he's amazing two teens po po gone double shooting 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old girl shot and killed Saturday night after a fight broke out at the Westgate Mall in Brockton I can't think of too many things that I would uh be fighting with somebody about at at a mall that I would pull out a gun and shoot at them but it's the way of the world these days Witnesses say a lot of kids were at the grand opening of the Urban Air Adventure park across the street shortly before the shooting police say several teenagers were fighting outside the Chipotle and Starbucks when shots were fired around 700 p.m. dozens of teenagers nearby one of the teens was a student at Brockton High School plmouth County District Attorney's Office leading the investigation has not said whether any arrests have been made as yet so we'll keep you posted it's a crazy time to be alive crazy time you've been raising kids right teenagers um uh want to point out some um some crazy Media stuff to you I do a um a show prep in the morning as you [Music] know during which I read many many articles from many sources print out a bunch of stuff reread highlight fact check when [Music] necessary I have disdain for a good number of people in the media good number of the um the media Outlets who who don't do the same do shoty reporting one of the websites I do check is uh it's a television station out Springfield WWLP channel 22 um because they generally provide uh information obviously on from that half of the state in Boston if you if if you rely on the Boston media forget it you wouldn't learn anything that didn't happen in Boston unless it was a um a really horrific story you'd get nothing out of other than Boston because in the eyes of the Boston media and nothing exists outside of Boston right I mean as you know that to be true so I do check the media from the other part of the state as well it's lot of a lot of national media um on the WWLP channel 22 website this morning there were two stories right next to each other one above the [Music] other it kind of made me chuckle because it shows that essentially they're not giving a whole lot of thought to what they're publishing either there was a piece by Julia o'keef now this sounds like an editorial although it's not built as such it's built as a news story it's right there under the the Hingham news but get a load to this as she writes Congressman Jim McGovern visited seniors at the Applewood retirement community apartments in Amherst on Friday mg govern discussed the efforts of the Trump Administration with residents what's happening in Washington directly impacts the people who are gathered here in this room McGovern said people are nervous people are concerned and people want to express their opinions so the news story continues again this a new story this this not nowhere on this piece is there the word opinion or commentary it's right under the heading of news it reads McGovern's visit allows the Applewood Community to voice their questions in proper English there anyway to voice their questions and concerns about what's going on at the federal level especially regarding health care and Social Security and it does this Elon Musk has described Federal benefit programs as fraud suggesting they will be a Target in his goals to reduce government spending that is just totally not factual but it is written as it is factual and people read this and they don't know any better and they just read it and no my God Elon Musk is targeting programs he he said their Federal benefit programs are fraud that's not what Elon Musk said that's a nasty rotten lie or maybe just as I said all the time when dealing with the media just total misunderstanding because they don't understand you know half the reporters that write this garbage do not follow the news closely enough to really understand what's being said first of all um Elon Musk does not make budget cuts and second of all Elon Musk has never ever described Federal benefit programs as fraud despite what Julia o'keef writes in her news story but just a little clarification for Julia and I wish she was listening but she's out in Springfield probably covering some huge story but um what Elon Musk said is that [Music] the federal benefits programs are loaded with fraud they're right with Fraud and Abuse but he didn't say that the programs are fraud there's a major difference there there's a major difference there when you say the programs are fraud that means that the entire program is corrupted that nothing the the program does is is is worthwhile or or or legit but when you say it is loaded with fraud that means there is a lot of fraud occurring in a program and in in musk's View and Trump's view it needs to be weeded out so that those people who are in need of and are are collecting benefits in these programs will continue to be able to do [Music] so anyway darling Julia continues here in her um story news story he's falsely claimed that undocumented immigrants are fraudulently accessing hundreds of billions of dollars worth of benefits including Social Security Medicaid and disability programs that's a misstatement as [Music] well total misstatement and it's not a news story that's not reporting that's editorializing plus Doge plans to close dozens of Social Security Administration offices across the country this year well that's news to me I've never heard that I know that they going to um they are certainly going to clean up Fraud and Abuse in Social Security so we can keep it solvent and get the dead people off the list you know just last week we read to you um you know a report about how folks are collecting Social Security in other countries they they're getting American Social Security and American benefits such as food stamps and other things in Yemen and Somalia and in other places okay uh there is no debate that government in so-called entitlement programs are are riddled with fraud corruption and abuse as a result of that people here in this country who contributed to those programs and who need those programs now in their life can't get the amount of assistance that they need and require because of all of this abuse I've not heard that dozens of Social Security Administration officers are going to close this year but the Social Security Administration has suggested that citizens applying for Social Security or disability benefits over the phone would need to verify their identities in person or using an online program if you're shutting down offices and laying off staff that's going to be very difficult apparently McGovern said that's a quote but it's not attributed to anybody those are it's in quotation marks but not attributed to anybody she must have heard mcgarvin WR that and as usual these pin heads in the media especially Dopey ones that are working out in Springfield don't know that they are supposed to question McGovern and say can you tell me where I can verify the dozens of social security officers are going to close and um and that you've got to do this now I've got the story right here from the Social Security Administration which I read to you last week and essentially what it says is that everybody that is collecting Social Security or applying for Social Security they are changing the verification process in order to protect you okay whenever you sign up for any program let's use Social Security as an example because they are talking about here you must have a foolproof um Iden identity so that they can identify you I mean it's like you know any program so if you have an account online which I do and many many other people do the um the want to change the um and upgrade the it's an upgrade they want to upgrade the security program for that to double down and make sure that your benefits and make sure that your finances are secure that's all they're doing so for those people who have that online program no problem they're going to send you notice at the end of this month and say hey go on your go on the website and go into your account and just do this and it'll upgrade your security no problem all done in a couple of seconds nobody's service is going to be interrupted nobody's office is closing down none of the above is going to happen now if you do not have access to a computer and you do your business with Social Security in person I'm not sure how many people still do that you may be told you need to come down to the Social Security office so that we can upgrade your your security Now what's wrong with upgrading security no I'm not going to do that oh do is making me have to upgrade my security so nobody can steal my benefits oh my God impeach him that damn Nazi I mean how stupid is this right um if you have a friend or a child or whatever grandchild with an access to a community they can create an account for you online it takes all of less than five minutes to create an account for you and then you can change your security settings right there you don't need to go anywhere but if you don't have a computer or if you're old crochety person who just you know wants to be fussy and and difficult to get along with this is to help you this is to help people like you and me who collect Social Security who might be targeted by these frauders look there's one person 360 years old collecting Social Security right there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people that are like 150 and above that are collecting Social Security you don't want them to be collecting yours or the Social Security benefits that were for your dead spouse or whatever so you want to uh protect your benefits and you want to you want to increase your security it's not a big deal your bank does that all the time all anything so if you're online you can just simply go online to your website they'll tell you when they're going to send you an email they're going to say hey go go online to the website here it is and just enter your your your your code to get in and we'll change your security for it takes seconds literally seconds but they're making this sound like a great big disaster oh they're closing hundreds of offices all across the country and everybody's got to go into the office and and how you going to do that if they're closing the office they're going to make it hard for old people they got it's just lies it's all they have is lies and the media I keep telling you this day after day after day is too stupid to print the truth you know why because here's the problem especially with somebody like Jim mcgoverin Jim mcgoverin is an ass I know Jim McGovern I haven't seen him in a lot of years I used to cover him he's an ass and Jim McGovern will lie to you he's a darling of the uh of the he's old school politician he's a darling of the old people he's a Democrat you know he sings to people and he does cute little things and he goes and visits senior housing and all that so they all think they're that he's fighting for him he's not he's lying to them he's making old people scared why do you want to make people in their 80s scared I don't understand that Congressman government why do you want to make people scared over lies why are you lying to old people just to make them scared it just and and the Press is too damn stupid to put his feet to the fire and say Congressman first of all prove that this is going to be huge disrupt iion of seniors and that is not in their benefit to upgrade their security so that their benefits are protected their bank accounts are protected and everything else you know even if you don't do your business online with Social Security you still had to go there right and you had to sign paperwork and you had to put your bank routing number and all that stuff so that you're uh your your your Social Security benefits are automatically directly deposited into your bank account right you want to make sure that's protected they've got a new upgraded system to protect your your information you want to make sure that's thing here I would I mean I can't even imagine a Looney Tune like Jim MCG government sitting here oh look what they want to do to you they want to make your your Social Security process more secure Damn White House your press secretary Caroline levit by the way did say in a statement again this morning any American receiving Social Security benefits will continue to receive them the sole mission of Doge is to identify waste Fraud and Abuse only anything that you hear that's other than that do not believe it but you know what's funny so as I mentioned there were two stories on this television stations website WWLP channel 22 Springfield there was this one big blaring headline right right and this wasn't a new story this was garbage as you can see it was propaganda they were writing propaganda just eagly writing it down for Jim mcgu because you know what happens is these these politicians like Jim McGovern and others you see this locally too they want to be friends with the reporters they want to be friends with the Press because when you're friends with the Press they're not going to write bad stuff about you or they're not going to ask you tough questions so let that be a lesson to you um so right underneath this this fake news story the same station WWLP has this headline Massachusetts audit reveals $2 million state benefits fraud snap leads I don't understand the wording here but what the um what the story is telling you here right on top of telling you that these the the the Doge and and Trump they're all corrupt little bastards because they you know the putting all your Social Security and it's fraud this that and the other thing right underneath it is another story that the Massachusetts auditor's office has uncovered $2 million more in State SNAP benefit fraud hello doesn't that kind of nullify the story above it and doesn't that kind of make Do's point this is happening right here in Massachusetts now this isn't in Washington where with Elon Musk and his his electric car and all this kind of stuff and Trump the dictator and the King it's right here in Massachusetts Diana dolio who has emerged as a hero for the people of Massachusetts state auditor has announced a report from the Bureau of special investigations under her purview shows 2, 41,7 23 in public benefits fraud from an audit that was conducted from October 1st of last year to December 31st of last year that's what November December that's just under three months just under three months two million 4,723 dollars in SNAP benefit fraud here in Massachusetts in less than three months oh illegal are no nobody's getting oh there's no cheating oh Elon Musk is a he's a Nazi because he's saying everything's fraudulent by the way this is just the latest audit we see audits like this that that uh come out couple of times a year on SNAP benefits in Massachusetts and it's always millions and millions of dollars so this is just the latest from October 1st to December 31st of last year 2 million plus five massive Massachusetts offices were examined with a total of 971 cases of those cases 153 had overpayments as identified fraud SNAP benefits ranked as the highest and identified fraud with 60.7% of the cases the snap assistance program 1.2 million worth of fraud Medicaid 500 36,800 this is just a less than a 3-month period at the end of last year here in Massachusetts $536,500 transitional Aid to families with dependent children $156,300 Department of Early Education and Care $ 75,4 emergency aid to the elderly disabled and children $31,385 personal care attendant $176 so when you hear these numbers folks again keep in mind this is for less than three months in Massachusetts all of this fraud totals up to over $2 million for less than three months but yet you read the story just above it and they are absolutely um livid that Elon Musk is looking to examine these programs for fraud he can't do that he's a king he's a liar he's a he's a what do they say here the U [Music] uh Elon Musk has described Federal benefit programs as fraud he falsely claimed that undocumented immigrants fraudulently accessing hundreds of millions of you know I this it just underscores how stupid the media is and how you cannot believe story on top of the other not even aware that all it is doing is paring back garbage pum from a politician in order to get a reaction from people people you got to smarten them you you've got to smarten up they are using you as they always have they're hoodwinking you they are lying to you here's another one this is the Boston Herald this morning uh Grace zovic $100 million in federal education funds to Boston public schools at quote unquote substantial risk officials say as the Trump Administration moves to dismantle the US Department of Education BPS officials say quote a very significant portion of the district's funding and programs could be under threat from federal cuts and restrictions could be could be but we don't know that because nobody in Washington has said that as a matter of fact the folks in Washington have said just the opposite none of the money is getting cut all of the programs that are currently being funded are going to be funded what they're doing is dismantling a giant bureaucracy and the different programs and things like that still going to be funded it's just going to be done by different agencies that are already in existence because we don't need this big agency but yet you get Boston Public Schools again a Democrat blue City Sanctuary City and they talk to the Boston Herald and they say well we're keeping a very close eye on about 100 million of federal funding which is about 2third of what we call our external fund the funds we receive from sources outside of the general fund this according to the interim Chief Financial Officer David Bloom at a school committee last week but he had no information about what was being cut because there had been no no announced Cuts nothing has been announced but the Boston Herald writes this because it's sexy and sales papers and they put it right out there a very significant portion of the district's funding and programs could be cut well you know what men from Mars could land here next week too they could right it's not very likely because we don't know that there are men on on on Mars but they could land here next week well a very significant portion of the excluded for the most part are still too stupid to understand that they're being had you cannot believe what you are reading and hearing in the media so take that for what it's worth just three think anybody the Boston Herald or any of the press or even anybody in the audience raised their hand and said excuse me sir have you got any proof of this have you seen any documents has anybody from the federal department of education sent you a an email and said hold on to your hat you may lose $100 million no I didn't think so so sit down and shut the hell up until you get that proof when you get the proof that they're cutting $100 million from the Boston Public School System then we'll panic in the meantime shut up we're sick of hearing it sick and tired of hearing it by the way Elon Musk New York Elon Musk is suing him after Bowman called musk a Nazi and a thief during an appearance on CNN last Thursday I've had enough lawsuit inbound must posted to act on Friday in response to Bowman's televised Roundtable discussion see you know the time has coming you got you have to be held accountable for stuff like this Bowman who lost last July's Democratic primary following a series of anti-Semitic controversies and a capital stunt resulting in his criminal conviction told the panel of commentators that the American people do not trust Elon Musk and Elon Musk is incompetent in his position and how do we know because they fired tens of thousands of people it was challenged in court the court said the people have to go back and now the people are coming back he's incompetent Biden last year only 60 billion went to actual education and then you find out that the other 220 was funneled through Nos and nonprofits which basically uses some of that money to launder back to the politician and and and if you approach one of these protesters these liberals and you tell them this they literally their heads pop off because they don't care they all they see is the Department of Education is closing down and this is what really irritates hat the bleep out of me it's like you're not willing to basically look at the bigger picture here and saying not getting rid of uh Title One not getting all the stuff it's just being shifted to different agencies within the US government the the these two loans are either going to go through the small business Small Business Association with the treasury the the the rest goes to Health and Human Services only 25% of that 25 Bill 280 billion is for K through 12 most of it is is just basically college student loans right and where the savings comes in and people have to understand everything you just said is absolutely true and where the savings comes in is that number one you get rid of this huge agency building everything that goes with it including the people that are sitting there sharpening pencils and pushing papers and taking long lunches and the people that actually should be in charge of handing out money like you said small business administration so on and so forth those people are going to continue to uh uh send out the same amount of money and fund the same programs what stuns me is 30 ago you talk about people Democrats would protest of they want to shrink the government Bill Clinton tried this he did this get the government small take less of my tax money now all these all these mindless Zombies run around and they want more government and I'm realizing that the purpose of this whole thing whether it's the Department of Education whether it's any other agency that's been shut down most of the people getting fired are either people bureaucrats lobbyists or people who basically just don't work they simply just go there and they're a body you know something like oh they work for home they sit in your jammies and work from home and maybe show up once or twice a week yeah yeah but here's the real issue I said to somebody what's who who's there a loser in this this cutting I says the teachers unions because they've been grifting the taxpayers for years people don't realize this the head of the teachers and Randy wein Gorton is on 13 corporate boards wait a minute why is a head of a union on 13 corporate boards isn't her job is to make sure that we turn out the best teacher instead of making money for yourself and that's really what this is about all of this everything all this cutting and by the way doge is not doing the cutting they're just exposing it all this all this cutting they're doing is they're just simply getting rid of the fat getting rid of the waste getting of the lobbyists the bureaucrats and that's the real thing here it's like when you see Bernie Sanders over the weekend with with AOC doing these these little uh tours across the country and it says fight the for today uh court of appeals for the DC circuit is going to hear oral arguments on whether a lower court can properly address the Trump administration's efforts to deport Venezuelan Nationals via the 1798 wartime law [Music] um that Trump had been used to um remember the couple of plain loads of people a couple of weeks ago and um sent him packing and the the judge the alien enemies Act and the and the judge said bring those planes back you can't Deport those people I mean these are all criminal illegal aliens right gang members gang that has been declared um a terrorist organization and the liberal judge wants wants them back here and uh but oops geez we didn't get you we didn't get your email judgy wedy until they were already they were already on the ground over there in El Salvador but so the Trump Administration is trying to clarify whether a whether a judge has the authority to um shut down the presidency when it comes to dealing with the issues of immigration and and and terrorism and that type of thing there's a single Justice or judge have have a right to do that and so this ought to be interesting the court of appeals a DC circuit no not a real friendly place to Trump that's for sure but um at least it gets the ball ruling and he gets the issue up the ladder uh one more step in the way of um getting to the Supreme Court for a final determination on this thing
