And then I got to Canada and I ate so many I ate all dressed chips until the roof of my mouth was feeling They're just an everything. I am so happy about this and Megan is a good friend of mine And she said Tom loves the room. He likes the ruffles. Okay, I liked the Walmart brand the Walmart brand of dress trips. I tried them all ruffles being my second favorite. Okay, okay What's your favorite? I you know, I'm a ruffles girl. Yeah, but listen, I will go back and I'm gonna do that I'm gonna do that. It's rogue, but they're good. I mean listen, I trust you. I do trust you Let's go I mean the movie like I I just I watched the last night I couldn't stop thinking about it. Both of you are absolutely brilliant in it So Diego when Damien cast you he said he was going to make it so you won't be able to walk down the street How has your life changed since doing this film? I think this is a good question in like three weeks But for now, it's like a very like many situations all the time We wrapped the movie almost a year ago more than a year ago and it's still like Happening these moments in my life when I'm like, oh, I'm being money again. I'm I'm meeting Madonna I'm here in this party or like Why there's a lot of like new situations all the time. Yeah and working with Damien What was it like to step into his world and be front row for that? I think it was incredible to have like a one-on-one like directing lesson with Damien But also like I feel pretty lucky I think it's not traditional having this kind of relationship with a director I mean I live in his house with with his Wife Olivia, we rehearsed the whole movie. We have like like like really really bond, you know Yeah, this doesn't happen very often. I mean sometimes but like being so close with a director I mean, I'm lucky that I can call him like really one of my best friends now. Oh, it's so great I mean and Margot you you don't shy away from complex characters. There are no simple characters in your repertoire What is it about Nelly? And how do you? Do you find comfort in the chaos because from Tanya to I mean, there's so many I could list Harley I mean Wolf of Wall Street. There's so many complex characters that you take on I think you've literally nailed me like you just nailed it. I find comfort in the chaos. It's why I love movie sets like There's nowhere I feel more calm and happy than on a movie set while it's like in the eye of a storm and it's just Like madness around you and I'm I love that nothing makes me happier Definitely the same can be said for Nelly and I think a lot of those characters I think you've just summarized me really eloquently and in one quick sentence, but Yeah, I I love characters that really go for it I love characters that have very strong opinions and a very reactionary and very in the moment I don't find as much joy in playing characters who are like quietly contemplating or calculating So, you know something that's gonna happen days from now. It's like I like characters that react immediately. Yeah, it's just so fun I mean from There's so many scenes, but the snake scene already I snake scene was just so intense to watch and then I mean also the but that's who like her Matt like her Crazy behavior comes from a place of like deep deep deep hurt And if you can just find what she what hurt her so bad, I can justify all the crazy things So though you only see glimpses of Nelly's vulnerable side in this movie when you see it, you know Like oh, that's a person who's like she's she's raw. She's cut deep there and she's yeah, she's Yeah damaged and gonna create a lot of damage. It's phenomenal. It's phenomenal.
