The Rise of Bronny James ! 2025 LA Lakers Highlights

I am a fan of Golden Hoops. I just say, just going in and working as hard as I can. I mean, that's all I can do, just learn. You know, being that same, you know, level-headed kid, just trying to get his work done, and just putting my head down and working. I feel like that's the only thing that I can control right now, is going in every day and staying ready to play, staying ready to learn. The way Bronny's improved, and he can just step up in our world and know every play and speak the language, I think it's been great. Just his, like, burst and his handle, you know, we think he's going to be a really good NBA shooter. He's going to have a chance to really make an impact. In each of his last six games with the big clubs. I mean, he had a guy. It's a mixture of veterans with the energy and the young players developing on the fly. It's a really nice game. Here's Bronny. Bronny, head up, look at that, head up. Two-hand chess, man. He's tightened up his game, but he's going to get minutes for this Lakers team. Good defense there from the Lakers. Bronny James gets inside. Sweet move with the left hand. Example here of what may be the future of this. On September 16th. Bronny with a look ahead to connect. Now Anthony Davis back. Boy, do they play it well without him. And James gets the money. James, parted by Tyson, steps back, and Bronny James has his first points in the end. Got to the rim. Another three-point shooter. That's Bronny James trying to come up with that steal. Bucket to making the all-time leading scorer, and now you've got... Second-leading scorer for Los Angeles right now. Bronny from behind gets the block. Look at Bronny coming back into the play and... Jumper. Really was nice, but again, that's the one that you live with. Oh, Bronny, strong, scores! It's his first time in the books. Rides this crowd. Look at that second look at the first score by Bronny. Takes it with the left to a couple of defenders. Washington last year. And Bronny again with the steal. Never wanted to play the bad teams early, because you play them late like this. And the slam dunk by Kyler Kelly. The way he picked up Oliveri. Lobs it up, and Bronny James throws it down. Good play by Kyle. He's at 10 points on a 5-for-7 night. James for three. Yes! And Bronny knocks down a three-pointer. Bronny comes down and off the dribble. Does a great job of squaring up. It's not over yet. 120 to go. That's good. A Bronny James. He's giving him a feel. Basically has his rotation set. There's Bronny. Bucket to make him the all-time leading scorer. And now you got... Brussels is late getting back. Little start-stop. That's good change of pace. But James was there. Deep defend and guard both positions. And that's what the NBA is heading towards. Good defense there. Hayes. Bronny. Up, around field, and off. So he had that one spelled out. Bronny. Baseline. Runner is good. James parks in the corner. The three. Good. That stuff that everybody on that team... It'll be that bond for the rest of their lives. Nice cut. Shapino off the bounce. Nice feed inside. Bronny James. Back shot is good. Teamwork gets J.J. Redick off the bench. Clapping for his young player. He's at his pace. And he gets it done. Here comes Bronny. Good! Bronny James to the basket for two. He's not going to get it done. Kawamura drives. Yuki, you are too unselfish. Back in 2019. Furrow is way down the lane. Missed the shot. As Nguyen got stripped and dunked in. But Jimsy comes flying in. Stripped down low. And... And so you constantly fret over that. So mistakes I've made, how much time do we have? I go through all of them. Commit. Terrence has got to get something up. He's being guarded by Bronny. The club is looking over at Phineas E. Rams. He's saying... Bench right now. I think Bronny had his hands in the cookie jar. A little slap on the wrist right there. There's no reason that the ball should be still going up. Here's a triple. During the course of an 82-game schedule. Brother Larry Jr., former Lakers, provided us with so many... Made four threes. The last time we saw him, he was up that one. He's got it! Or at least clear your stuff with Mike. I'm coming at you. Here's James Jr. You're right. A 38-32 fourth quarter advantage. Of course they had those great teams with early Durant, Westbrook-Hart. This may be the next iteration for Sam Preston when he's built. Theory to theory from coach to coach, right? How they feel their team needs to stay in rhythm. Two in a row. Bronny goes to the basket. Gives it up. Jemison throws it down. Trey Jemison out of UA. His first in the league. And that's it. His first made three. Bronny James on the board. A single night. An NBA first right here. Bronny James. Look at that Laker bench. Off that bench. Yeah, that's... ...by Bronny. He got semi-picked, but he kept hustling to the players. That's it. And it results in a three at the other end. Good play by Bronny. Sure, he had an easy layup, and he got the block and did get... Bronny, you were locked in all week, and you said you would soak in the moment after the game. What will you remember most about tonight? Just going up to that sports table with my dad, checking in for the first time. That's a crazy moment I will never forget. As you checked in, and you realized this lifelong dream, what did you realize about accomplishing that? I mean, I'm just extremely grateful for everything. I was given an amazing opportunity to come in this league and get better every day and learn every day. So, yeah, I'm just extremely grateful. Huge smile across your face. You have accomplished many milestones. You have made history countless times. Why is this feat so special? It's family. It's always been family over everything. You know, for me, I lost a lot of time because of this league, committing to this league, being on the road at times, missing a lot of his things, Bryce's things, Zuri's things. So to be able to have this moment where I'm working still and I can work alongside my son, it's one of the greatest gifts I've ever got from the man above, and I'm going to take full advantage of it. I'd say just all the coaches believing in me and continue to put that in my head that they believe in me and what I can do as a player. I was given an opportunity tonight to go show them what I've been working on in the G League, getting reps, stuff like that. So constantly putting that in my head that they believe in me and that I can contribute.
