This Bridge was Loaded (With Tanks) But No One Wants You to Know!

so here we are at my third Bridge of the day to stop at and fish this is going to be my last stop since I only had about 2 and 1/2 hours left of daylight so I'm getting unloaded here the previous two stops I'd caught one puppy drum zero sheep's head dropping life fiddler crabs we'd got a lot of rain the previous 48 hours so the water salinity was really low everywhere I had gone but this location is right on the inter Coastal and the water was pretty salty here so my hopes were high and I thought I had a good shot at getting into some fish start right here this double man that's a lot of current though I don't know if my line will be able to stay down with the bite being so dead everywhere I'd been previously I decided that chumming with some oysters right off the bat was a must all right let's go again go how am I missing this my gosh this is like the most evasive sheep's head in history there we go got it there we go a got a little mini sheep little baby I he's probably keeper size but ouch stop it there we go all right little bitty guy that's what's been stealing my freaking all right see yep he is he's about 13 so yeah we're g to let him go at least I caught the sucker all right we know there's some sheeps here nice oyster in the face there we go got him all right that's keeper maybe maybe kind of small stop it damn it ow there we go all right let's see yeah he's 14 we're not going to keep him he's kind of little all right guys little 14 in we're going to let him go too so all right guys I think we're finally on them this is my third different bridge to fish today so there we go that's a good one that's a good one yep that's a definite keeper there got him all right yes definite keeper there all right this is sheep's head that is going back to Oklahoma yep ah little dink little dink come on open up and I'll let you go all right dude you're going to be a butthead there we go all right all right well at least we're on them now at least we're finding them all right I catch another keeper I'm going to run over and uh knock some Barnacles off for Brock and Kade Brock and Cade were over fishing off of the old bridge that they've turned into a fishing pier on the other side there they were struggling catching some fish so I was going to go over in the kayak and knock some oysters off and Chum for them but I also wanted to make sure they saw every time I caught one just got to be patient sometimes sometimes it takes them a while to sniff out these oysters that you knocked off there we go got a decent one this time all right another keeper oh yeah definite perfect keeper size not too big not too little let's go uh special thanks to my big brother Allen his gift card got me this new Rod I got from my sheep had set up here so thanks for the gift card Allan got him oh um he might be a little small yep he's a little small I mean he's legal 100% but all right we'll let him go he's good decent but not not what we are looking for oh damn it lost a good one there should have set the hook harder should have set the hook harder there we go all right yeah there we go all right we'll keep this guy too make this the last one we keep all right guys uh of course I'm using uh frisky fin knocker jigs uh but this dirty water is allowing me to use a heavier leader so I can tighten my drag up a little bit and uh don't have to play the fish as much these sheep's head are usually pretty leader shy but when the water's dirty like this you can get away with 20 easy I've even gone as heavy as 25 before oh yeah oh it's a good one woo oh it's a 20 oh yeah oh God dang it don't fend me these guys got daggers for Fins all right another nice one guys another nice one all right you're in no escaping now I'd say the new pole is a success I like it I like the bend in it you want a lot of Bend in your sheep's head Rod because you want that to act as partially as your drag because you're using a light leader but a lot most times you're in heavy structure so you can't have your drag real loose so the sheep's head oh that was a bite oh gosh uh the sheep's head don't like to go on long runs but they dig they like that so if you've got a rod that's got a lot of flex to it then that's going to absorb a lot of those when they when they uh dig like that kind of counteract the Titan drag with light oh is there one on there huh that was weird but it helps a lot if you got a real stiff Rod you're going to break off a lot all right come on what okay let me hook one more real quick got him oh yeah that's a good one another good one pulling some drag wo oh oh yeah Brock you guys want one what do you want a sheep so being the nice guy that I am I decided to take pity on Brock and Cade and uh brought them over sheep's head what you trying to do oh man you want to go in I'm gonna pull Brock in there you can have it okay that's that's the say
