Outlander Project: Red Wool Jacket/Bodice
Hello I’m Sophie. Welcome to the beginning of my sewing journey, come along with me through all the mistakes and seam ripping! And hopefully feel some solidarity that there are others bumbling their way through this hobby.
This is the eighth video of a series creating a full 18th century outfit, that is inspired by Outlander. I’m using the McCall 7735 pattern which is Outlander licensed, and I’ll be loosely explaining the steps as I go. For this video I am creating the jacket portion of the pattern. This video isn't really what I would call a "How To" because I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time, maybe more of a moral support video to those like me.
Disclaimer I am very much an amateur seamstress and make many mistakes.
