Hey my good friends, Sam Hamart with Test Driven TV. We are here on the floor at the SEMA show in
Las Vegas and I'm showing you some of the best Ford Maverick pickup trucks that there are here.
Right behind me is literally the hottest street truck here at the SEMA show. It's the new Ford
Maverick by Tucci Hot Rods. So let's have a look. An award winner at the 2021 SEMA show,
the Tucci Hot Rods Ford Maverick is certainly one to have a look at. Clearly worthy of the title
from its eye-catching custom pearl blue paint and the huge custom wheels and flares and that
rear calf spoiler. Wow! The build has a lot of visual stimulation but features a number of small
details that mean business like the custom logo fender vents that almost go unnoticed. At the
tailgate is a customized Ford oval with a satin finish on its metallic surfaces. US Wheels provided
the 20x9 steel wheels custom built with fabricated turbo fans by Tucci Hot Rods for a look that you
won't see anywhere else. They're wrapped by fat meaty Falcon Alzenis FK510 tires in the size of
265-40R20. To make them work Tucci crafted custom 3D printed racing style fender flares front and
rear that really pop. At the front is another notable detail a body color painted grill bar,
a mod I think that we may see a lot of with the Ford Maverick. More eye-catching though is the
massive front lip spoiler which would never survive most drives to the grocery store and
that's also custom designed and 3D printed from Tucci and while that's seemingly over the top
nothing compares to the rear calf spoiler. This item I will call guillotine is like the other
custom pieces dialed out of the 3D printer. It's huge different and has already gained a lot of
attention out there as a controversial item. For me it fits and completes the look of this custom
street truck. Why not? Out back a look at the rear bumper shows off a center exhaust outlet
comprised of a custom Borla exhaust system for the two liter EcoBoost engine with a rich looking set
of carbon fiber exhaust tips. You can see the extra fabricated piece they created to frame it
up so nicely. I could see the market for this but Borla says that they're not planning on this
particular kit. Dropping the Maverick to the ground is a custom coilover suspension by ISC.
Custom sway bar and toe links are provided by Massive Speed. We can't really see much of it here
and there's no announcement yet from either of the manufacturers about a kit. Topping the bed is
something a bit more tame and something you can get from the Ford accessories catalog. A hard roll
up tonneau cover and a tailgate spoiler from Air Design both of which seem to fit exceptionally
well. Not so largely seen at the show since the truck is locked is the custom Recaro seats. Four
of them along with racing harnesses. They add a sense of sport to the otherwise bargain basement
interior. The rear seats feature a custom one-off center console based on the front one. A special
shout out to Dave Tucci himself for opening up the doors and letting my camera in. All right my
friends there you go for our detailed walk around of the Ford Maverick show truck by Tucci Hot Rods.
I think one of the hottest street trucks here at the show this year. Now you can see all of our
