He alleged that the documents had been signed with an autopen and that the former president was likely unaware of them. The move could clear the way for new criminal investigations.
Meanwhile, new polls on approval ratings are showing new records. Trump has matched his record high, while Democrats are showing record-low ratings. The polls suggest that a change in approach may be necessary for Democrats to win back voters in the midterm elections.

Federal investigations are ramping up into the hotels that were housing illegal immigrants on the taxpayer dime.
A few hotels in New York City have now received federal subpoenas over illegal immigrants staying there.
The subpoena allegedly asked for a list of the residents as part of an immigration investigation.
And the taxpayer funding that was used for these hotels, that's getting a lot more contentious now
because the gang members are known to have gotten free hotel rooms and are also now designated as terrorists.
What does it mean when you give material support to terrorists right?
Well that could have some broad implications because remember that could be illegal in the United States.
It means you could be charged with terrorism yourself.
Tren de Aragua is a terrorist organization now designated alongside MS-13 and the cartels.
And it's also known that the gang had operations running out of the Roosevelt Hotel in New York.
And on Tren de Aragua also, the Trump administration is now in a legal battle over the deportation of the Tren de Aragua gang members.
Trump designated the gang as a terror organization, he invoked the Alien Enemies Act to deport them
and a judge in Washington D.C. blocked Trump's order and then ordered Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gang members be brought back to the U.S.
This was as they were being sent by plane to El Salvador which was being set up to house the gang members in their prisons.
And now the Justice Department is also getting involved.
It took actions to immediately end the judge's orders from Washington D.C. to try and block Trump's deportation policies of these gang members.
And now, well look, the courts are going to decide whether these deportations can keep going or not.
