Improve your game!
This channel is dedicated to all the gold seeking Pickleballers out there who dink responsibly and stay out of the kitchen. We have all levels come through the channel, but we concentrate on the 4.0s, 4.5s and up to 5.5s.
I started this channel quite by accident, I was recording my games to do film study and get better. I did not have time or money for lessons from pro pickleball coach, so I started watching all my screwups. People that I was playing with started to ask if they could watch too and I said sure. That helped all of us a lot to improve our game, strategy, mental toughness, and techniques. Now we have new pickleball videos published several times a week. We occasionally have pro pickleball players on the channel. Mostly its non pro pickleball players on their quest to 5.0 pickleball. We have all levels come through the channel: 4.0 pickleball, 4.5 pickleball and up to 5.5 pickleball with the pros.

Donna Maria requested a video on how to shake and bake. And that's what I'm gonna give you.I'm a doer, I make my viewers doers, you know. That's my calling let's beat him up. So this is me, Joey Gmuer. I'm in the top right hand corner of the blue tank. I'm playing with David now in the top left. We're playing the Sobeks, and they are very good. I drive it really hard right at William's backhand, and that's what you want to do if you're shake and baking. I drive it extremely hard and if you look at David, he's pinching the middle. What does "pinching middle" mean? He almost goes up and straddles the middle of the kitchen. That's what pinching middle means. He's looking for that pop-up in the middle of the court, and look... I do it, let me put that in slow motion, but right here David drives, and look that's what pinch middle means: I pinch middle. I take the offense because David is still back.  And that's how you take advantage of the point with the shake and bake. So this is me and Cliff playing. He drives the ball in the middle of the court at the opponent's backhand, If you notice his ball sinks he plays with the Engage Pursuit. He gets a lot of spin, and if you can focus more on making the ball sink, than crushing it, it's going to cause more pop-ups, and more errors. Plus your partner is going to be straddling middle or pinch middle already. So it's going to be very effective! So let's summarize: drive at the opponent's backhand - you get more pop-ups this way. You can drive to that forehand, but I recommend the backhand. Number two: when you're not returning the ball, you have to pinch middle. This will cause a  lot of errors and will make your opponents change that shot, which will cause errors, which will make you win more games. Also resets are necessity. It's not going to work out perfect every point so reset the ball, dink a little, but always be looking to take the offense. Thank you so much for watching! Send me requests for videos, and I'll keep them coming. Have a good day!
