Grizzly bear cub gets adopted in Kananaskis, Alberta, very special!

This female and I go way back. I helped manage this bear her first 8 years of life and got to see her have her first cubs. I resigned in the spring of 2020 and I hadn't seen her since 2019 in the late fall. Because of my history with her I really wanted to see her now that she had a litter of three, one of the cubs are actually her mom's. I am so glad I spent the extra time before making my way to my job north of Terrace to go to Kananaskis to see this very special bear.
