My eyes opened real wide and rolled back my head
and I rolled over onto the other side of the bed,
face down and all the pain went away.
And I thought, this is not good.
I thought I'm dying and I asked God if I could stay.
But then I didn't know I had died
and I felt really good.
And I thought, man, I can't move my arms.
I can't see, I can't close my eyes.
I mean, I can't speak.
What's the matter here?
And then I noticed that I could see through the walls
and it was daylight outside at three o'clock,
3.30 and three o'clock in the morning.
It's winter time, you know, so it's dark outside,
but I could see through the walls
and it was like a noon day.
Welcome back to Mystic Light Channel.
My name is Vu, I'm your host.
And today's guest is none other than Mr. Ralph Jensen.
I'm Ralph Jensen, Ralph Merlin Jensen.
I was married to a lady that we had nine children
and then she died in a car accident
and I got married again and she has three children.
So we have 12 children, 35 grandchildren.
And in my second marriage, the one I have now,
we had a business in a park here called Zion Park
and things went wrong
and we ended up kind of being kicked out and homeless.
Shortly after that, I had,
that's when I had the heart attack.
And okay, well, it was Friday the 13th.
We went to bed about 11 o'clock at night
and three o'clock in the morning on Friday,
I woke up with chest pains.
My wife is a light sleeper and I didn't wanna wake her up
and I got up and went in the bathroom and she heard me.
So she came in after me and she said, what's wrong?
And I said, well, I have, my chest hurts.
She says, well, mine hurts too.
She had pneumonia and I had this heart problem.
And then I thought, well, maybe I better go lay down.
I can't breathe very good and not having much problem,
not doing well.
And so I stacked up a bunch of pillows
and I laid down on my bed and she says,
what do you want me to do?
And I said, well, call a hospital.
She calls the hospital and they said, call 911.
And I was, okay, I don't know.
And our phone was a cell phone
and you had to lean against the window
because the house would block all the signals.
It was made out of big concrete blocks.
And so if she, she had to lean against the window
in the bathroom and she could see me on the bed
through the door and if she pulled her head up,
it'd lose the call.
And finally I said, my chest was getting really sore
and I said, get Michael up to go get Brother Olson
for a blessing.
And so Michael, he was, he's about 13
and he ran across the street to get a neighbor
for a priesthood blessing and she called 911.
And I was really hurting and screaming,
help me, please help me.
And Spencer comes over and she has to lean on the window
and she can't come.
And he's telling the answers for the questions
that she's asking from the 911 operator.
And then I, my eyes opened real wide
and rolled back my head and I rolled over
onto the other side of the bed, face down
and all the pain went away.
And I thought, this is not good.
I thought, I'm dying.
And I asked God if I could stay.
But then I didn't know I had died.
And I felt really good.
And I thought, man, I can't move my arms.
I can't see, I can't close my eyes.
I mean, I can't speak, what's the matter here?
And then I noticed that I could see through the walls
and it was daylight outside at three o'clock,
3.30 and three o'clock in the morning.
It's winter time, you know, so it's dark outside
but I could see through the walls
and it was like a noon day.
And then I was, I moved up to the front foot of the bed
and I was against the wall
and I could see myself laying on the bed.
And there were two men standing there in white
at the foot of my bed.
And I could see my wife on the phone
through the back of my head, through the wall.
And I thought, well, I guess I'm dead.
It took a minute.
And then I asked the guys that were standing there,
they never turned around because they didn't need to.
They just stood with their arms to their sides
staring straight forward, which was opposite where I was.
And I said, I'd stay if I have to, but can I go back?
I'd like to go back.
See, I didn't want to leave my new wife with 12 children
and I didn't want to leave my nine children
without any parent.
And I wanted to be with them.
So I said, hey, can I go back?
And they said, yep.
So he gave me a blessing
and commanded me to return to my body.
And I climbed back in my body
and that was kind of fun till I got back.
And then it was very painful.
And then the paramedics came in
and they hauled me up to the hospital
and I got in the hospital and they were trying to work on me
and they'd given me shots to break the clot.
But it wasn't a blood clot, it was a plaque clot
so their shots would work.
And about two hours later,
see my wife had called a bunch of family members
and told them.
So my daughter-in-law happened to be there by this time.
And she and my two kids,
my daughter, Lisa, and my son, Michael,
and Maren, my daughter-in-law,
they were standing by me in the hospital room.
I went into cardiac arrest again.
And my nurse was a very large man.
He's about 6'4", 6'5", and about close to 300 pounds.
And so he comes running in and he pounds me on the chest
and he jumps on my chest
and he breaks all my ribs, broke my sternum,
broke all my ribs off my sternum.
And then they got the shock paddles and they're paddling
and they're sticking needles in me.
That went on for 12 minutes.
But during that time,
I didn't watch them beat me up like that.
I went into a room where I met my wife
and my mom and dad.
They were standing there.
They were about 20 feet away from me
and they just stood with their arms to the side,
didn't move.
And you talk like telepathy.
It's from your heart, but you don't move your mouth
and speak, you just tell people what you want
and they know it and you think about it.
And their first thing to tell me
was you already have permission to stay,
so what are you doing here?
We're busy.
We have more to get done for the second coming of Christ
than we have time for and you're just stopping us,
so why don't you go back to where you're supposed to be
and let us get back to work.
And I thought, well, okay.
I went over to them and gave them hugs and talked to them,
found out what they're doing and they're working for Christ
and missionary work and other things.
And the man that gave me permission to live
was standing behind them quite a ways
and I thought, you're my escort?
What are you doing here?
And so I left my family and they skedoodled
and I never saw him again and I walked back to this guy
and while I'm walking back to him,
the Holy Ghost says, well, that's the Savior.
Oh, so I bowed down quickly
and then he asked me to come to him.
So I went over to him, I gave him a hug.
He's taller than me, he's about six two-y kind of size
and he looked in my eyes after we pulled apart
from each other and he says, where's your heart?
What he's asking me is, what are my values?
Are my values with him or my values with the world?
You know, other things.
And I just went, I couldn't answer him
because my whole life,
I saw my whole life in about two seconds
and I could understand it all, it was amazing.
And I thought, whoa, you're not very perfect.
I'm not real bad, you know, I don't do bad stuff
but everything looked bad
when you're standing there with him.
And so I couldn't say I'm with you
even though I had always tried to be.
And my imperfections were just too great for me to say that.
But he just smiled and off we went back in time.
It's kind of like the Christmas Carol show, Scrooge.
Have you ever seen that and know anything about it?
No, I've not.
Okay, there's a story written by Charles Dickens
about a man who's a real grumpy guy
and he hates Christmas and then the three spirits come
and show him things, the past, the present, and the future.
Well, the past spirit is the first one
and takes him back and he sees his life in the past.
And that's what I got to do
except for I saw Christ's life in the past.
And it was not like watching you here
on the computer screen.
It was like if you were in my room standing in here
and I could see you, that's how I saw everything.
And so I went back to before the earth was built,
I was in the premortal existence with God and Jesus
and you and everybody else that was there
as children of God and Satan, you know, all that stuff.
And so I got to see all that,
watch how Lucifer wanted everybody to be forced to be good
and how Jesus took God's plan and said,
no, I'll let them have agency, but I'll be the savior
and I'll pay for the problems that they do wrong
and be their savior and make them clean
by satisfying the law of justice for them.
I'll do that.
And Satan, he had about one third of the people
that liked him and two thirds liked Jesus
and you and I are the like Jesus people
because we're here.
And so Satan gets kicked out of heaven
and he comes to earth.
So the spirits of Satan and him
are wandering around the earth tempting us as spirits.
So we don't see them, but they can tempt us to do bad stuff.
And then the other two thirds was with Jesus
and then Jesus needed a place for us to come
to be tested some more and grow more.
So he built an earth.
He built the earth, Jehovah made the earth
and Adam helped him.
He's called Michael the Archangel at the time
and they built the earth.
Then we could come down here
and they take our memory of the premortal
so we can live by faith instead of by knowledge.
So I got to see that.
And then I got to see Jehovah and Jesus are the same person
and so the old Testament has a God named Jehovah
and I got to see all that, that's not in my book.
I talk about the premortal and talk about Adam and Eve
in the garden of Eden.
And then I skipped over all the old Testament
and to go to the birth of Christ in the new Testament.
And so I got to see Moses speak with God
on the mountain and I got to see Abraham
and all the prophets and so that was kind of fun.
And then I got to see him get born
and I'm in the stable, it's a cave.
Outside of Bethlehem, there are several stables
and a lot of them are caves in the ground.
And then what's interesting is that those caves
were used to house the sheep that had the lambs
that they used for the sacrifice in the temple
because Christ is the lamb of God
and they had these special sheep
to have special lambs born that were perfect
and then they could take them to be the sacrifice
in the temple that was the law of Moses
and Abraham and everybody was sacrificing,
even Adam did in symbolic of the son of God
being the sacrifice for us.
And that's where Jesus was born
and the manger was in the side of the cave
and they kind of an outcrop bump come out
and they chiseled it out and made the manger out of it.
And so it's not like the ones that you see in the store
that have wood and the stables made
and it's all made out of wood,
now it's a cave, it's all stone.
But it's good temperature in there,
and actually it was better to be in a stable
than in a house because the houses are all full of people,
dirty and noisy and crummy, let's get away from them.
And I thought it was too sacred for me to watch
and Jesus was standing next to me over here
and on my right side and I wanted to go away
because I thought it was too special for me to watch.
And he just reached over and held my arm gently
and he did, now you're staying here,
you're not going anywhere, okay.
And so I got to see the birth of Jesus
and the shepherds come and then he grows up
and of course when he was about two and a half,
almost three years old, when the wise men came
to the house they were living in
and brought the gold frankincense and myrrh
and they showed up there and then of course
the king wanted to kill everybody
because the wise men talked about him
and he was afraid someone was gonna take over his kingship
so he would kill all the babies, you know,
so they hailed it to Egypt and they lived in Egypt
for a while until the king died.
They got message that the king had died
and the son had taken over and the son wasn't much better
but he wasn't getting killed.
So they came back through Bethlehem
and went back to Nazareth, that's where they lived.
And so I got to watch him grow up
and 12 years old when he's a man
because in those days you're an adult,
you're a full man at 12 years old
and you're a full woman at 12 years old
and you're supposed to get married
and have a family at 12 years old.
So he could go to the temple because he was a man
and then, you know, by then he knew who he was
and that he was doing his father's work,
talking about his heavenly father
and so then he grows up and he was a carpenter
and in those days a carpenter was a stone cutter.
They chiseled rocks.
So most of what he did was chiseled rocks
and he did wood things but he didn't make furniture
because nobody had furniture,
only the kings and the rich people did
and he wasn't the special carpenter for the kings.
So he made things for the ordinary people
and so he worked with wood in the farm,
you know, like pieces of a wagon
or sickles or stuff like that
and then they made mud houses.
They would make rock houses, some, the richer people
and roads and walls and stuff like that, stairs
and so he was a big tough guy, you know,
moving rocks around and he had to be a businessman
just like you and I.
You know, if you had a business to do rocks,
put rocks on houses or whatever,
you have to be at a job and you have to get the rocks
and you have to put them on and get paid, you know.
He had to do all that and some of the people
were nice to him but he still had to be nice
because he couldn't sin
and so then, of course, when he got 30 years old,
he sought out John the Baptist
who was baptizing people all over the place
and John the Baptist was the forerunner of Christ
and later, Christ actually said that no greater man
had ever been born of a woman than John the Baptist
and so he goes down, gets baptized in the River Jordan
and they get, by immersion, he gets buried under the water
in symbolism of death and resurrection
and because you have to be 30 to be a rabbi
or else you could have been a rabbi earlier than that
but he had to be 30 years old
and so then he went up in the mountain
and was tempted by the devil
and that's where his father came
and ordained him to the power of the priesthood
and it tells you that in Hebrews
he's ordained after the order of Melchizedek.
Melchizedek was a great man
that even Abraham gave tithing to
and they took the name of the priesthood
which is called the priesthood
after the order of the Son of God
and they named it after him
so that you wouldn't make it too common
to say the holy priesthood
after the order of the Son of God
and so they didn't, they called it that
and Jesus was ordained to the high priesthood of Melchizedek
and that's what Moses had.
Aaron had the Aaronic priesthood
and that was a lesser priesthood
and then Jesus went and taught
and I got to watch all that.
I got to watch him do the miracles
like make the water in the vine
and I got to see him heal people
and walk on water and I got to see all that stuff
and call his apostles, you know,
and ordain them and I got to, of course,
watch him go pray in the Garden of Gethsemane.
And when he was in the garden,
he suffered for our sins and bled
and it was very painful for him.
Altogether, he was in there about three hours.
Okay.
And in those three hours,
he prayed for you and I to listen to him and be good,
you know, and for his apostles to be active
and going out and preaching the word
and then, of course, he got betrayed
and I got to see that and, you know,
he cut off the ear, you know,
Peter cuts the ear off and he heals the back
and what's interesting is in that culture,
if you cut somebody's ear off like that,
the penalty was death.
Yeah.
You could be killed for cutting somebody's ear off.
And so when Christ healed it,
it took away all the evidence.
So Peter couldn't be killed.
And so then I got to see the trial
and see him be whipped.
They put the crown on his head
and he had to carry the cross.
Yes.
Now, a lot of people have a misunderstanding
of what the cross is.
You know, everybody today,
when you have a cross,
people think of a cross that looks kind of like this.
Yes.
Where you have a point picking up above,
but that isn't,
because we refer to the idea of two people,
two items going past each other
as they're crossing each other,
so we call that a cross,
but that's not how they did it.
Okay.
They had the vertical part sitting in the ground already.
It was already there where they were gonna hang him.
And then the cross was the top part,
so it looked like this.
Yes.
Like a capital T.
Yes.
And this part was called the tree,
and this part, the top, was called the cross.
Yes.
It crossed the tree.
Yes.
See, not this, but this.
Okay.
And so he carried this part,
just the top part.
Yes.
But still, that weighs,
you know, for him,
probably weighed about 150 pounds or so,
and he'd been, he hadn't drank or eaten
for, you know, a couple of days.
He'd been beaten, whipped,
and that usually kills people,
and he survived it.
He had no water, and he had no food,
he had no sleep, so he's kind of tired.
And then he gets all whipped up,
and that takes a lot out of you.
And so carrying that cross was really hard for him,
and that's why they had to have someone help him carry it.
Actually, the guy took it away from him.
Christ didn't even have it to carry anymore,
because he could hardly walk.
And even in those bad conditions,
you know, he fell down,
and there were some women there crying for him.
And he wasn't thinking about himself,
he was thinking about everybody else,
because he was very unselfish.
And he told them,
don't weep for me,
weep for your children and your children's children,
because he knew they were going to be in trial,
and have problems.
And they knew,
he knew that his gospel was going to be taken away
as the prophets and apostles all got killed,
and they couldn't keep ordaining people
and keep the church going.
And so the church fell to pieces,
and he knew that was going to happen.
So he was weeping for them.
And so then he gets to the,
where the vertical, the tree is,
and a lot of pictures put them on top of the mountain.
You know, they have this big mountain,
and they're standing up on top of it.
That's not how they crucified people.
Because crucifixion was to make you suffer on time,
because you usually took three days
while you're hanging there.
And it's to make you be belittled and degraded.
So they put you where all the people can see you,
and make fun of you,
and maybe hit you with sticks,
or throw rocks at you, you know?
And so the crosses were on the road, right by the road.
It happened to be a place where two roads met
before they went to Jerusalem.
And so a lot of people were gonna pass there.
It was at the foothills of Golgotha.
And so in their mind,
and how they used to say in their culture,
if you're on the foothill,
see, if this is the mountain,
you don't have to be up here to be on the mountain.
You can be right here, and you're still on the mountain.
That's right at the very bottom,
and that's where they were.
They were right at the very bottom.
And so they carry the cross out to that place,
then they lay them down,
and they spread their arms out,
and they nail their hands to the cross.
And in those days, the palm,
see, in our cultures, our life,
you have the palm, which is the hand,
and then you have your wrist.
That's not how they looked at it,
because it says he was nailed in the palm.
But that means he was nailed in here,
and he was nailed in here.
That's both of those nails were in the palm of the hand.
Yeah.
We call it the wrist.
Yes.
They call it the palm.
Right.
And the nails were handmade.
You know, they hammer them out.
The iron strikers would make the nails.
Yes.
So they're all different.
Yes.
Some of the nails had little heads on them.
Some of them had great big heads on them,
and they're different.
You know, they were all bumpy and square.
And the nails would rip through your skin,
and you could fall off the cross.
And so they would nail, like the thieves got nailed,
and they were nailed in an old cross
that had lots of holes in it.
Christ was a taller person,
so they had to go out and cut down a tree
and make a bigger cross,
because the Israelites were rather short.
And so he had a new tree,
and that was the first time
someone is gonna be crucified on it.
And the nails could come out,
or they could come through your skin.
And so what they did was they took rope,
and they tied around your wrist
and held to hold it to the cross,
and then the nails made it painful.
Yes.
So they nailed him here,
and they nailed him just below the wrist bones
instead of going through the wrist itself,
like most of them did,
because that would break bones,
and he was not supposed to have bones broken.
So the Holy Ghost helped the crucifiers
put it a little bit lower down.
And then he had huge heads,
and so it wasn't gonna pull through,
put into a new cross,
so they didn't tie him up there.
He didn't need ropes.
The nail held him fine.
Yes.
And then they normally put your heel
to the side of the tree,
and then they nail through the side,
through the side of your heel,
into the tree, sideways.
Can you understand that?
Yes.
It's coming sideways through your heel
into the side of the tree.
Yes.
But that would break your heel bone,
and so they didn't do that to Jesus.
They put his through his foot
underneath his ankle,
and one on each foot,
so he had both feet with the nail in it.
Yes.
And then it's very uncomfortable,
a terrible way to put it.
Okay.
They didn't have foot rests for him.
They didn't care about that.
Okay.
And so then they're only about a foot off the ground.
Their feet are real close to the ground,
and that makes it so people can pick on them easier.
Yes.
And so then when he died, of course,
he got put in the tomb,
got resurrected,
and I got to see him be with the apostles.
I got to see him go around the world
and talking to people,
like he came over here to talk to people that were here,
and he went out to the isles of the sea,
went around to show them
that he was the savior of the world.
But that's what I got to see,
and my experience made me an eyewitness of Christ
and an eyewitness of his life.
And so he asked me to bear witness of him,
to tell people that he's real,
because I got to see him and talk with him
and hug him and do things with him.
Okay.
So that's what my assignment is,
is to be an eyewitness of Jesus.
And whenever I talk about him like this,
because I'm supposed to bear witness of him as a testimony,
I always, like in my videos,
I always close that I say all these things,
that what I've told you is true,
and I bear the witness in the name of Jesus Christ.
In your near-death experience,
you just witnessed the entire life story of Jesus
and his apostles and all of that, right?
Yeah, everything you read in the Bible
and a lot more than that.
Because I got to see his life
pretty much up to the day I died.
So I saw his entire life.
Aside from witnessing all of Jesus' life story,
did you experience anything else in that state?
Did you see anything, any other sort of visions
or dimensions in that state?
Well, his life, especially after he was resurrected,
see, he's the savior of the universe, not just this world.
And so he could go to other planets.
And they all got to know about him.
And I saw him go to the world,
because he was born over in the Holy Land,
over in Jerusalem, of course, born in Bethlehem.
And he was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
In other words, he was supposed to be teaching Israelites.
And the reason for that is that he needed
to make a missionary group
that could then take his gospel to everybody,
because he's one person.
He can't run around everywhere and talk to everybody.
And he wants us to be involved in it.
So he got his apostles and taught them,
and they baptized people and teach them,
and he's teaching people.
He was teaching them, giving the Sermon on the Mount
and all that stuff, teaching people the gospel
so they could go tell the world about it,
because he told the apostles to go preach this to the world
and baptize in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Ghost.
And so Israelites, some Israelites had left that area
and traveled to other parts of the world.
Some were over here that lived in America.
Some went to the islands of the sea and over where you are.
And so after he was resurrected,
he went all around the world talking to these people.
And also, just to know, his missionary program,
he went when he died, he was dead for the three days,
you know, and Peter tells us how he goes
into the spirit world and he teaches the people
who were wicked in the times of Noah.
But what he actually did there
was he made a missionary group.
He got all the good guys, got them organized
to be missionaries to go talk to the people
that were wicked in the days of Noah
and got killed by the flood
so they could have a chance to hear the gospel,
because the place was so bad, so wicked,
that nobody was learning the gospel
except for Noah and his family, and nobody listened.
So the children are being born and raised in a society
that had no idea about Jesus,
and they only had bad stuff to know.
So they needed to be told about it
so God could be a fair, loving God.
And so that's what he did there.
Then he did it here with his apostles.
So I got to see that.
And then since he had other worlds that he made,
like it tells you in Hebrews
that God formed the worlds by the power of faith.
And in the beginning,
in the beginning, God made the heavens and the earth.
Well, what's the heavens?
Well, the heavens are stars and galaxies and stuff.
So it tells you that God made the heavens and the earth,
and the heavens include stars that we see.
So I got to go with him to some of those places too.
So it was exciting.
I can't tell you everything about it.
He won't let me,
but I got to see a lot of really good things.
It was fun.
But I didn't see a future that I remember.
I could have seen future,
but I don't have it in my memories.
And he hasn't brought it to me
because the Holy Ghost has an assignment.
He told the apostles, he says,
I'm not gonna leave you alone.
God is gonna send,
my father will send the Holy Ghost in my name,
and he will, he calls him the Comforter,
and he will teach you all things.
So the Holy Ghost will teach you the truth
in your mind and in your heart.
And he says that he will bring to your remembrance
whatsoever I said unto you.
That's how Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
were made that way.
Because they weren't taking notes,
and yet in those books,
you have very detailed conversations.
Well, how do they know all that?
Well, the Holy Ghost reminded them of it.
And then the things they didn't know
because they weren't on the mountain
when he got tempted by the devil,
and they weren't at his birth,
they weren't at him going to the temple at 12.
They weren't down in the,
in the being judged, you know,
when he went to court,
and they weren't there,
but they could write about it
because the Holy Ghost told them about it.
See, that's how my book was written.
My book was written in the same way.
The Holy Ghost brought to my memory
the things that I saw,
and he teaches me things.
And so that's,
you know, that's how God operates.
And so if I saw the future,
he hasn't brought it back to my memory yet.
Okay.
So as far as I know, I didn't see it.
All I saw was his life,
so I could be a witness of his life.
Okay.
And so seeing all these,
seeing all these events in Jesus' life unfold
during your experience,
did it sort of re-examine your relationship with God,
and did it sort of like affirm your belief in God?
Yes, I knew because the Holy Ghost had borne witness to me
before all this happened,
that there was a God who is my literal father of my spirit,
and he is also the father of Jesus.
And I knew they were real,
and I knew they lived.
I knew Jesus had come to earth and lived
and died and resurrected.
I knew that, and I already knew that, you know,
Lucifer was there.
So I, you know, I got to meet Lucifer too,
as I was dead and after I've come back,
I got to meet him because that's the opposition.
I saw the good guy, so I get to see the bad guy.
Yes.
And that wasn't as much fun,
but it helped me just see more details.
Yes, tell me, yeah, everything you,
everything you know is true is true, you know?
And I got to see the other little details of everything.
And so it didn't make me know he's Jesus and God more.
I already knew that, I can't know it anymore,
but it helped me know all the little small things
like you did, and I got to know his personality better,
because, you know, in movies,
they always make Jesus so serious,
and he's always so pretty and got the fancy clothes
that's never dirty and, you know?
Yeah, yes.
All white.
Well, that isn't the way it was.
I mean, he was like a person and their clothes was not white
because wool is what they use to make their clothes,
and wool is not white.
Ever seen a sheep?
The wool isn't white, it's kind of a dirty gray,
yellowy kind of color, you know?
Yes.
And yet they do have some dyes.
They had red dyes and purple dyes,
and purple was used for the royalty
because it was so expensive.
But he could have a red robe and a white robe, you know?
And they get dirty and he just looked
like an ordinary person, and he was Jewish.
In the movies, they always make him look
like he came from London or something,
but he wasn't that, he was Jewish,
which means his skin was darker,
his hair was darker,
and he had, and Jews, Israelites,
not just Jews, because there were 12 tribes of Israel.
Yes.
And in Jerusalem, there actually were several
different members of the tribes,
Joseph and Dan and Judah,
and they're remnants of Gad and all these others,
and they have a larger nose than the Romans do.
Romans have smaller noses.
Their nose is closer to maybe what I, you know,
I have a nose that's a little bit that way,
because I'm a descendant of Joseph,
who was called into Egypt.
Yes.
So I have a little bit of that in me.
So his nose is a little bigger,
and they have big eyebrows, the bones are bigger,
and the bushy, the hair is really long and bushy.
Yes.
So that's how Jews are, they're real Jews,
and so he's a Jew, and so he looked more like that.
I am not allowed to tell you his detail
of what exactly he looked like.
Okay.
But he just looked like an ordinary Jew,
except he was a little bit taller, most of them,
and Peter was a little taller.
Paul was really short, he was about five foot,
five foot two, you know, somewhere in there,
he's really short.
James and John and Matthias, Matthew and Bartholomew,
all of them, they were kind of like five five, five eight,
they're not real big people.
Yes.
So anyway, what else you got?
Okay.
Hang on.
Okay, so after you had your experience,
what sort of impact did it have on your life?
Did it change your life for the better?
Did it change your life for the worse?
What were the consequences of that experience on your life?
Well, there were a few things.
When I came back here, I didn't like the windows shut.
I wanted the sunlight coming in, I wanted to see the world.
The world is a beautiful place,
even though it's not the heaven, it's still beautiful.
And the other thing is, I thought,
why do I wanna go out and get rich,
get all this stuff?
Because what do I wanna do that for?
It's not worth much.
I need to be teaching about Christ.
Yes.
And it made me like, I need to be a better person.
I gotta quit doing things wrong.
And I want other people to know about it.
I'd like to talk to everybody I meet.
I go in the stores, I'll talk to people,
but I would like to talk to every single person
and say, hey, you know this, follow Jesus.
I have to be careful and controlled.
And it didn't really make Jesus more real
that I already knew he was there,
but it was really neat to be able to have time with him.
Like my best friend kind of a thing.
And I got to know more about him personally,
because he's kind of a funny guy.
He has a sense of humor.
He tells jokes like you and I do,
but his jokes are not like ours.
Yes.
His jokes are perfect, you know?
But he would do things and he would kind of look at me
and kind of say, wasn't that kind of fun?
You know, he'd smile and he's very ordinary, personal.
And he made me feel like I was the only person
in the universe.
He made me feel like he made the world
and did the atonement and hung on the cross,
got resurrected, all this for me.
But he'll do that to everybody,
because it's a very personal thing.
To know that Jesus is the Christ,
you need the Holy Ghost to talk to you in your way.
And so it's a one-on-one thing.
It's not a big group, you know,
a whole bunch of people in one.
It's one-on-one.
It's you and Christ.
It's you and the Holy Ghost.
And the Holy Ghost is the one that tells you the truth.
Yes.
See, he says, my sheep hear my voice.
And he also told Peter that flesh and blood
didn't tell you this, that I'm the Christ.
My father told you through the Holy Ghost, see?
Yes.
And so if meeting Christ taught you that that's who he was,
then everybody around him,
including the Romans and the Pharisees and everybody
would all know he was the Christ.
Yes.
And all accept him.
But it doesn't work that way.
It works, and the Holy Ghost has to tell you
that that's who it is.
And when he says, my sheep hear my voice,
and they follow me, he's talking about those
who have allowed the Holy Ghost one-on-one
to tell them that he's the Christ.
And they're the ones that follow him.
And so you just meet him doesn't make you know him
because that's not how you know stuff.
Say, see stuff, but you don't really know.
You know, you could meet a person,
if you didn't know what your president looked like,
and he was walking around the streets,
and you saw him, you wouldn't know who he was
from anybody else, unless somebody told you
that's who it is.
See, if someone came up and said, hey,
that guy over there is the president of the country.
Oh, okay, he looks like an ordinary guy.
Yeah.
And so you have to have the Holy Ghost tell you,
and as he walked around, even though he had a charisma,
it didn't make people know him.
And the reason that the Sanhedrin,
the group that got him in the Garden of Gethsemane,
they were the most wicked people on the planet.
Because just imagine, they got to know,
this is what made them so wicked.
They got to know who he was, okay?
Yes.
So now they know he's the savior.
He raises Lazarus, and that was the last straw.
And the reason he let him sit for four days
is so he could raise him,
because the Jews thought the spirit hung around
for three days.
And so after three days, the spirit's gone.
And then he was stinking, he was rotting.
His body started to rot.
The spirit was gone for their tradition, he's gone,
and he raises him from the dead.
Boy, that got them mad.
Because they wanted to be the boss,
they didn't want him to be the boss.
He was taking away their sacrifices
by putting the sacrament in place, the bread and wine.
And so he was taking their income,
and he was taking their authority and power,
and they didn't like that.
So when they found out it was Jesus,
that he was really the son of God,
and they go kill him, I mean, how bad can you be?
You can't be any worse than that.
So they were really wicked.
And the whole Sanhedrin, they didn't want to kill him.
That's why they did it in the middle of the night.
Because if they'd done it in the courts
with the full 120 Sanhedrin members,
they'd all voted him out.
Because they liked him.
This little group, along with a few of the priests,
and well, they got together, they brought the Romans.
And so there's only like 35 or so of them
that really didn't like him.
And they're the ones that got him crucified.
And so the Jews weren't wicked people,
they were really righteous
because all the apostles were Jews,
and all the people they taught and baptized,
brought into the church were Jews.
So the Jews were good people.
It's just that little group was the bad guys.
So yeah, you only know Jesus as the Christ
by having the Holy Ghost tell you,
and you have to listen for it,
and it's a quiet thought in your mind and in your heart.
Okay, and so my final question is,
what's the one lesson that you learned
from this experience that our audience can take away?
Well, there's about 100 one lessons,
but some of the more important ones is that,
one, that Jesus of Nazareth is the literal son
of a literal father.
They're two separate people.
Yes.
He was the father of Jesus in the spirit world,
and he's the father of Jesus on the planet.
And that Jesus Christ, Jesus is the Christ.
Christ means the anointed one,
Messiah means the anointed one.
And so Jesus is the anointed one from his father
to be the savior, which helps us overcome our sins
by him paying for them if we repent and follow him,
do what he says, obey his commandments.
And he's our redeemer.
And redeemer means that he takes your body
back out of the grave, reunites it with your spirit,
and you'll live forever with this body
and your spirit mixed, hooked together,
and you don't grow old and die and get sick anymore.
And so that Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Mary,
is also the son of the living father.
And he is the one that we have to look to.
He is the savior of the entire world.
No matter what religion you are,
he has to be acknowledged as the son of God
and your savior.
And by following him,
you then can go back to live with the father
in heaven, in heaven.
And if you don't hear about it in this world,
you, when you die, you can hear about it there
like he did with the people of Noah.
So that's the most important thing,
is that he is the savior, redeemer of the world.
Okay.
The whole world, the whole universe.
Okay.
And so, yeah, so I think we can just end it here.
But before we go, would you like,
do you have any last words that our audience
can like take to heart?
Well, what I just said?
Yes.
I am an eyewitness, not just the Holy Ghost telling me,
but I've got to see him in his flesh and bone.
He doesn't have blood in him.
Flesh and bone.
And he is real.
And just know that.
And it's not a fairy tale.
It's not just somebody's dream.
It's real.
The Bible tells about it.
And there are other scriptures that talk about him.
And there's one that's written for the people of America
to bear witness that Jesus is the Christ.
And you know, it is the Book of Mormon.
And it tells you that the Bible is real.
And that's what it's for.
The reason it's there is he says in the mouth
of two or three witnesses shall truth be established.
So you have the Bible that tells you
that Jesus is the Christ.
You have the Book of Mormon.
It tells you the Bible is true
and tells you that Jesus is the Christ.
And so, and just understand that there are a lot
of other scriptures around the world that we don't have yet
that later we will get them in time
that all bear witness of Christ.
And so just go to him, pray to your father in heaven
to know he's true and study him
and be obedient to his laws.
Because that's what he wanted us to do.
He says, you know, repent and be baptized.
And repent means to turn back.
And it actually means from scriptures,
it means turn back to God.
So when you repent, you turn back to God.
And by turning back to God, you keep his commandments
because he says, if you love me, you'll keep my commandments
and follow Christ and know he's your savior
and find, search out and find the religion
that is the same style and organization
that he had in the premortal.
I mean, in the old times,
in the old ancient times of the Bible.
And he had apostles and prophets and pastors
and teachers and seventies.
And he had all these people that were in the church
and they're supposed to be there now.
So anyway, that's it.
Follow Christ so that every knee will bow
and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Lord.
Okay.
So I think that's a big, yeah.
And I have a book.
I guess you know about that.
Oh, I have a book called Taught by Christ.
It's on Amazon.
Yes.
It's about $15.
And I have my YouTube channel, of course,
that's how you found me.
Yes.
And people wanna know more about what happened to me,
go to that and you can learn a lot more
because I have about 65 videos.
And so there's a lot there to see.
All right.
Yeah, so I think that's a beautiful,
this is a good point to like to stop right here.
Thank you for telling us your story.
And this has been Mystic Light.
Once again, my name is Vu
and I will see you in the next one.
So see you.
Well, thank you very much.
You're so kind to have me come on.
I love it.
And I'm glad to meet you
even though I just get to see your picture.
Yes.
Yes, thank you very much.
Yeah, thank you for joining us, Ralph.
And so see you in the next one.
Bye-bye.
