Discovering new SPRING art & craft projects: pastel sketches, cozy watercolour | art studio life
Hey, friends! Another week full of new art projects and cozy moments. With the arriving of spring (and longer light hours) I can suddenly do so much more, and every lil project feels so much more fulfilling! As it was promised, the morning sketching sessions continue, and this week I tried pastel. It's a very new (and very uncomfortable to work with) medium for me. But because I never draw much with pastels before, I had very low expectations towards the final result, and the whole experience have been so liberating.
This week I've also gave another chance to weaving, and created smth absolutely adorable! I've seen those cute woven moss & flowers patch coasters on Pinterest, and I just knew it's something that I NEED to have. It worked out so well, and made me feel so happy. Why making pretty things gives so much joy?
And last but not least, another painting for the future summer art markets is done. And it so cuuuteee, I can't. All in all the week was fun, and quite productive and I hope you will enjoy this little creative video and get inspired for your own projects! Hugs, Xenia
