I BOUGHT A $300 Nissan Titan... Here's What I Found

In today's episode of Watch Cargo,
Eric and I are here with the Nissan Titan at $300 that we were just idiots
and that we have pushed in the middle of the worst Arctic explosion in a long time.
In fact, you pushed it alone.
I didn't want to die.
We got the truck inside.
He says, I didn't really push because of my heart.
What's going on guys?
I am Watch Cargo and today we are here with our unknown year's Nissan Titan
that has the Rockford Big Tow and the Big Chrome and the bed tool box and the bed organization system
which are 4 or 5 very desirable options.
And we don't know what year it is.
So I thought we were going to jump here and take a look.
Oh, it's a recovery title.
We have the old recovery title label on it.
Don't worry about that.
It will be crushed soon.
You will never see it again on the road.
Another one that says recovery title.
It's the new recovery title.
It's the old recovery title in Kansas.
There is no way to recover twice.
But I don't even see the label.
Oh, here's the label.
It's torn.
So first of all, I'm going to show you how to bring it home.
So we're going to come back to this scene now.
Guys, it's the best flight we've ever made in history.
Listen to the Bluetooth at this time.
You can hear the transmission running in the Nissan and it's the Nissan Titan of Brady behind me here.
And of course, I know you're not supposed to notice the automatics.
But this thing is certainly heading for its grave.
So, uh, I told her to put it to death and it's gone.
But she's still doing this thing.
And it's a boucan too.
Brady, do you have brakes for me?
I'm hitting them now.
Oh, you have brakes, man.
You, I'm going against that.
This guy, what is this world?
Yo, you know, everyone thinks.
What is this world?
Guillermo.
Oh, my God.
All right, uh, you can stop me when you want.
This thing is flying over there.
Oh, man.
And now that we're back in the workshop with the Titan.
I want to show you what a Nissan Titan looks like at $300.
And it doesn't look good.
So, this engine has been completely disassembled and Brady has started the workshop of one of my friends.
I think he got stuck or there was a setback and he said, well, I'm just going to go buy another engine.
And he went to a scrapyard in Oklahoma.
He bought them the engine.
They guaranteed the engine.
They guaranteed it and they said they were only making Titans and that if there was a problem.
He would immediately give him another engine.
Well, he went to install the other engine.
Started it immediately.
Beating.
This engine was bad.
He called the guy and he said to me.
Yeah, I'll find you one.
And then the pickups drag their feet as long as possible and you have to reimburse people or give them an engine.
One of the two.
That's why I always deal with very famous breakers like LKQ, J&J Autopark, Go Recycler, our breakers.
We'll take care of the problem.
They'll take care of the problem.
A lot of others.
NextGepar.
There are so many good recovery parks.
Primchopshop.
All these guys will take care of you completely.
And they, you know.
I wanted it to be less than $300.
Yes, we are doing well.
There is a whole dollar in there for $500.
There's a lot of money in there.
Maybe even $125.
So, we're getting some money.
In fact, it works pretty well.
But I just wanted to take a second and say that you have to be careful where you buy your engines.
There is a place here in Wichow called Sandlin.
And I also do a lot of business with them.
If you buy spare parts, I hope you're working with someone famous.
And you know, you know, it's a bet.
These are spare parts and you can take that risk if you want to.
I love taking that risk.
But sometimes you'll end up with a problem like this one where you're just in trouble.
And the pick-up doesn't want to talk.
That's also why I try not to sell engines.
The engines are the most dubious part.
We made $20 there.
I told you it was a 0.4.
Yeah, so it's a 0.4.
We have the quick reference guide.
What is it?
TAMCO construction.
TAMCO construction product.
Something good in there?
Trotters, gutters or something like that.
Well, it's just shit.
So, I want to show you this $300 Titan.
And the reason why we had to put it here,
it's because someone wants the bumper and someone wants the mirrors.
So, we had to remove both.
That's our goal for today.
And there is no chance that this happened outside in the cold
because the wind doesn't stop and it looks like it's supposed to be minus 5 degrees outside right now.
It's freezing cold.
You can feel the cold coming out of the truck.
Fortunately, the garage, even the garage radiators, are having a hard time.
They're at 68 and they're supposed to be 60 here.
So, this is not the right time here in Kansas.
But, let's go.
If you drive a PT Cruiser, there is a good chance that you have an accident.
Why?
Well, I think that's where all the other PT Cruisers have gone.
But we're here to talk about today's video's sponsor, Morgan & Morgan.

Now, let's get back to work.
Let's see what we're working with here.
So, we have the valve covers right there.
He didn't take it off.
No, he just wanted that.
He just wanted to leave it, the one that breaks on all Titans.
Okay, so we sold that and, uh, a free garage door opener.
Well, what was in there?
Damn, here's the deal.
Your garage door opener is in my car.
I need you to take it.
And put it in my car.
Well, if I could lean over and take it, I would.
I would.
Look at that.
It's a direct W there.
556.
What did you buy?
Stop buying stuff at midnight.
Yeah, we bought this in the middle of the night.
Can you imagine getting arrested?
You have...
Just magazines.
It's like burst magazines.
Period.
People's birth certificates.
What are you guys doing?
Is this a seizure?
Dude, what kind of operation are you doing here?
Yeah, dude.
Well, everyone seems to want the seats.
I don't think they'll really want them.
The seats will probably go to the trash.
I don't think they're good.
Yeah, it's a win.
You should be able to...
We have like 10,000 garage door openers.
Yeah, but they're expensive.
Look at all those bottles of water in the door.
Just pure ice.
Pure ice.
Well, I think we should put on gloves and clean this thing.
The problem is that the whole truck is full of crazy stuff.
I just want to put on gloves before throwing myself into these crazy things
because there was a lot of old fast food.
What did you find?
This truck is really disturbing at this point.
I thought, if this bullet goes away, it's just a hole.
I don't even know, but...
What is it?
Blazer.
What?
What Blazer?
Have you ever seen Blazer?
We're just making money.
It's just money.
Period.
There's like $4 in there.
$295, Titan.
$295.
In fact, we already repaid this truck with the two things I sold.
We thought about saving this Titan because a subscriber contacted me
and told me that he had an engine in a storage unit
and that I could have it for free.
And I really wanted to take it for granted,
but the problem is that all the bolts are missing.
So we dragged it here in the middle of the night.
I had no idea,
but a large part of the equipment is simply placed in places like this
where it will simply vibrate and fall on the wheel.
And with so much missing factory equipment,
I don't care how much I like this truck.
And look at things like that.
Look at the gauge.
The gauge is ruined for transmission.
So, no matter how much I like this truck, it won't be reassembled.
You're a Titan fan above all.
Oh, no.
First generation Titan.
They don't know about your black Titan, do they?
I spoke here, didn't I?
No, I had a Titan in May 2005.
It was the biggest in the history of Titans.
Sick.
You never know when you need one.
Titan at $292.
Oh, pieces of $2,500.
Now, let's get out of here.
Well, but there's glass.
I see you tried to cut me.
There's still a lot of glass.
In fact, we have our little Buster cup here,
which is our essential piece to keep the money.
It's another dollar.
Cool, man.
Cool.
Find something cool here?
Yeah.
I said cool.
Chamo, give me double.
It's pretty cool.
I don't smoke, but I was going to keep it.
Does it work?
No.
It's cold.
Yeah.
It's starting to get embarrassing.
I'd say I'm wondering if you could recharge it.
Oh, you can.
Yeah, you can recharge it.
Oh, it's dry.
Dried.
Huh?
Yeah.
I'm going to give it to one of our smoking friends.
Okay.
We don't have any.
Yeah.
Huh?
Disgusting.
Is it?
What is it?
I don't know.
Oh, it's a kind of USB-C audio recorder.
It looks like it.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater.
What is it?
Is it a dollar?
That's all I care about.
What is it?
Is it a piece of Barack Obama?
Oh, my God.
Do you need these notebooks?
This car makes no sense.
What?
You have nine balls.
You have to give it back.
It's marked with his name.
It's...
Brady?
We'll give it back to you.
Yeah, we have to give it back.
But you have to explain the 9mm and everything else.
But you can get it back.
What is it?
I've seen it before.
It's a kind of...
I don't know.
Well, we have a bunch of notes here.
We're going to throw everything away.
We're going to throw away all these waste.
You know, we shouldn't.
We should leave everything like this.
When the truck is broken down,
it will add weight.
But we're going to throw everything away.
Eric is back here in the underwear collection.
So, Hill, are there any underwear?
And you, it looks like you just found
maybe it's just pants.
And what is it?
I don't know.
Very well.
Well, this one was the 762.
What is it?
It's not a lighter.
Yeah, that's it.
A kind of there's no more over there.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I found the manual.
It's ruined.
There are weird things here.
Guys, we're going to put on gloves and get all this back.
Uh, because there was fast food over there that was rotten.
And I don't want to be involved in all this.
So, let's clean all this up.
And then we're going to start demolishing this truck.
Well, we continued and put this thing under tension.
And as soon as we had a solid 12 volts on it,
she decided to go ahead and start the fuel pump
and get the fuel out, which is a good sign, honestly.
So, we know that the fuel pump works.
And I thought we'd check everything else here
while we're here.
That's how it is.
Let's see.
Because I think I think these power extensions,
but I guess I don't know.
So, just a check of the rearview mirror operation
because everyone wants these rearview mirrors.
These are very rare rearview mirrors.
Uh, very well.
I'll check your rearview mirror.
Tell me.
Uh, it's true.
Yeah, it works.
Left, down.
Yeah, up.
Okay.
So, I don't see any electrical wiring or anything here.
One.
And also, for some reason, none of the windows work.
The power pedals don't work.
We must be missing some kind of accessory circuit.
Too bad.
All I wanted to hear was the Rockford system.
I don't care about the rest.
And you can turn it on from the steering wheel.
It's crazy.
And we're back with the best test CD in the world.
Load CD 1.
Insert the disc.
And it's time for us to take advantage of this car.
We've run all the electronics now.
Now, you can see that they may be backwards,
but we have windows.
They slowly thaw here.
Uh, windows on both sides.
I just had to plug the other wire into the cable beam,
which is the one at the back of that fuse block.
So, I plugged it in and it all started up again.
We have mirrors, electric pedals, the system.
And now that we've checked that everything works except the back,
I really want to see this fun on the rear seats work.
Mine had EZ27S.
Is that how you use them?
Yes, it is.
The battery was dead.
There's another battery in the toolbox, I think.
It's good, I got it.
However, let's see what's going on here.
So, we have the mode, the helmet, the next one,
the volume up, down, the lights.
And, cool.
Lights there.
And, do you want to press the back V?
Turn on the main unit and press the back V.
Finally, yeah, this one.
I don't know why these mirrors have 38T screws.
I'm not without free feet.
Yeah, press the power button until the static starts.
Or, this one.
Yeah, and then press the back V, which is next to you.
Back command activated.
Press it one more time.
Ah, and look at that.
Isn't that great?
Um, FM, that's all I can choose right now,
but it can have a DVD.
Mine had the DVD player.
This one doesn't.
It's just an empty thing.
But loaded Titans are extremely rare.
Basically, no one has them.
There. Music and volume.
I didn't even know they were offered with back V commands,
but no DVD.
And the DVD is just incredibly rare.
So, I've always been happy to have that in mind.
I mean, mine even had navigation,
and I've never seen this Titan.
Very well, as you can see,
we got the money from this truck.
We have people who want the headlights.
The headlights are all in good condition.
No broken tabs.
Um, the climate, the radio, it's really money.
So, the radio is actually in two parts.
There's the front command panel with the Rockford logo,
then the main unit itself from Viston.
The cluster, even though it's a little hard
to sell a cluster with 300,000 miles on the clock,
but we have the big chrome mirrors for big toes,
which are great.
And right now, we're getting out of this Rockford trunk.
So, you want me to pull it forward?
What? Um, that's not ours.
It came out in front of the seat.
Oh, it's a free hockey.
I was like, do you need me to hold this extension?
It's great.
Man, what's funny is that we can see it's a Pittsburgh,
but it's got the queen swinging.
Yeah.
So, it's a queen.
I said, it's not ours, unless you corner it under the seat.
Quote-unquote.
Oh, what? Can you pull on the handle and turn it?
Ready?
Maybe.
How far do you want to go?
It's maybe.
Well, can you move the chain forward?
I can, of course.
Give me a hand.
Here, you can see that most of the interior
is stripped down.
The doors are removed.
The upper central consoles are removed.
The rearview mirror is removed because there's a home link,
which is relatively precious.
A few skateboard wheels in there.
It's pretty cool.
And we had a guy who just damaged his Titan,
and he wants the front.
So, we have the front prepared for him.
The headlight he needs.
The air box he needs.
Basically, everything here and even the radiator are ready to rock.
Even if I don't want to reuse it,
but someone's going to want to reuse it, for sure.
The whole store is filled with Titan parts.
There's the wing, the outside bumper,
two air intakes, and yeah,
the whole front part is at the back of the bed.
So, that's what we found in a $300 Nissan Titan.
And we also found the exhaust.
So, are you ready to move this thing?
Yes, sir.
Very good.
What else are we going to find here?
It's above my wet limit.
I'm going to have to put on gloves.
Uh, I think the real answer is up here.
Yeah, it's disgusting.
Dude, it's this interior.
I thought we were going to sell the seats,
but that's not the case.
Perfect. We're not selling these seats.
They're horrible.
There's this Rockford bass case.
Poor thing. Poor thing.
Oh, I found the core you threw away.
Oh, cool.
It's here somewhere.
Why was the bass case connector unplugged?
I don't know.
Was he working for the CIA?
He was working because he was actually a secret agent.
No, he sometimes works in the nightclub security.
So, he wears their CIA helmets.
Um, 10.
I knew the bass case didn't work yesterday.
Wait.
And this one?
It's been full of fast food for the last four months.
It was sitting here
and the back seats were full of sticks and stuff like that.
So, we're not selling this interior or taking it out.
We're just destroying it at this point because it smells bad.
Terrible.
But before they leave, we're going to remove the transmission and the bed.
And of course, the wheels and the tires.
The wheels and the tires are brand new.
So, the wheels and the tires were the only thing we wanted,
So, that's what we found in our $300 Nissan Titan.
Um, it won't be there for very long.
I hope by the end of the day or something like that.
It's about to leave and I'll probably end up taking it out.
I'm trying to take each module and each fuse box as well
because a lot of these things have a lot of value.
The guys at Xterra exchange all the suspension of the Titans
for their Xterra or something like that.
And that gives them a kind of Xterra that's absolutely not worth it.
So, um, when we take it out and put it on the elevator
and we're ready to put it on the trailer,
we tear off everything that's underneath.
So, when we get to the box,
they can just grab this thing with the claw and throw it away.
The claw, give it to them.
The pliers.
A Rockford Fosgate right there.
You know, we could probably just give him a signal and them a second.
And feed the speaker.
Oh, wow, look at that.
It's a Rockford punch.
It's an 8-inch Rockford punch.
There's the MHM logo.
It's not bad at all.
I didn't know.
I mean, it seems pretty bad to me.
I know, my Titan just hammered.
So, it's a hell of a basic question in this box.
Oh, a Mercedes key.
Oh, oh, look at that.
There you go. Now, you're the owner of a Mercedes.
I have to take this dirty money.
Dirty work with the microphone.
We're just going to pour acid in this cup and let it eat it.
Yeah, we're going to have to do it.
Well, I just got $2.
This money is too dubious.
All right, we could do the math here.
But, uh, assuming we paid almost $10 in cash in the truck.
Normally, we'd do a lot more work
and get all the money from a car.
But on this one, I mean, we're doing all the work.
We're basically throwing away the chassis, the cabin and the interior.
But there's so much more.
Each piece of a car has value.
Like the precious hood locket.
Uh, I'm trying not to sell too many used liquid cans.
But, uh, the intermediate tree here costs about $75.
There's a guy who wants that.
Uh, the ABS pump is probably good.
I mean, if you go all the way on cars like we normally do,
cars that aren't disgusting and don't smell like the workshop.
Uh, we make a lot more money and it's really fun to do.
And it's going away pretty quickly now.
You know, that's what we found in our $300 Nissan Titan.
That's all for today, guys. Thanks for watching.
Don't forget to go to shopwatcher.com for nice t-shirts like this one.
And please, like, share, subscribe, do whatever you want to do.
And I'll talk to you next time.
Bing, bing, bing, bong.
I wonder how people drive like that.
All forward.
That's interesting.
Interesting, that's the least we can say.
I should really buy multifunctional switches.
They're always broken on all cars.
If they look like those in the Corvette, they cost $300 each.
