Hi everybody! We're at Bird Kingdom. Bird Kingdom is home to the world's largest free-flying aviary.
An aviary is a place you can go to see birds. Let's see what different kinds of birds they
have here at Bird Kingdom. Come on! That's a silvery-cheeked hornbill. This is an ibis.
I like the pinky-orange color. That's an eastern rosella. They're from Australia.
Look at the pretty colors. It's so pretty. This is a blue-crowned pigeon. Can you guess why it's
called blue crown? Wow, birds are incredible. These are mandarin ducks. They're from China.
They're swimming. These are rainbow lorikeets. They're from Australia.
Can you guess why they're called rainbow?
Look at their colors. They're really friendly. That's a turquoise tanager.
See the turquoise color? It's really pretty. Look over there. That's a canary.
This bird is my favorite. It's a zebra finch. I really like its orange beak and orange cheeks.
The birds are building a nest up there. This is dundee. Dundee is a laughing kookaburra.
I'm gonna try and feed him. Dundee.
Dundee, can you laugh? Parrots. Let's meet them. Hello.
Shila, let's dance. Dance.
Take a bow.
See you later, Shila. Bye. This is Jojo. Jojo is a green-winged macaw. Look at his beautiful wings.
Hello. This is Lucy. Lucy is a scarlet macaw. Beautiful red color. She's 18 years old,
but she might live to be 100. Wow. Parrots are really smart animals. Some of them can talk.
They like to dance and play games like peek-a-boo. Peek-a-boo. Peek-a-boo. Peek-a-boo.
This is Star. Star is a yellow-naped amazon, and maybe she'll say hi to us. Hi, Star.
Hi, Star. Star, can you sing? Twinkle, twinkle.
That's a good song. We like that song. Are you ticklish? Tickle, tickle, tickle.
Can we play peek-a-boo? Peek-a-boo. Peek-a-boo. Birds are amazing. Some fly and swim, lay eggs
and build nests, and some even talk. And they're really pretty. What kind of birds can you see
where you live? At Bird Kingdom, we can explore birds from all over the world. I had a great time
exploring with you today. I'll see you in the classroom. Goodbye. Bye. Bye.
