Getting to Tigre Salvaje Eco Resort

Getting to the Eco lodge Tigre Salvaje was more adventure than I had bargained for. I had no idea just how remote this place was. It didn't help that there were almost no signs directing people to the lodge. After making U turns for what seemed like all day on the bad advice of the locals, I was ready to give up and head for home. Finally I asked a man who knew another man that worked at the place. We tracked him down and he showed me the road to Tigre Salvaje. He warned me that I couldn't make it there with the bike, but I didn't listen and tried anyway. I eventually made it to a place where the road had been completely washed out. I parked the bike unloaded my things and started hiking the rest of the way in. Once I made it to the lodge and showered they told me that my bike wouldn't be safe sitting in the middle of the trail overnight, and that I would need to hike back, ride it into the little village, then hike back again. If I wasn't too dumb to understand Spanish I could have avoided a lot of trouble. So when your watching this video and I'm talking like I've already been to the place, that is why. This is the first video in a series I will call "The Tigre Salvaje Adventure." I had a great time there.
