The Ravenscourt male leopard caught himself a warthog and that provided his meals for the next three days. The waiting hyenas were left with a few scraps. The Ravenscourt male leopard likes to catch warthogs, like many male leopards do. Catching warthogs is a special skill that leopards have to learn well otherwise they may get injured by the sharp tusks of the warthog. The Ravenscourt male leopard often targets the brachial artery when catching warthogs, this allows him to avoid the warthog tusks whilst still being an effective takedown tactic. Many leopard vs warthog situations end in a stalemate with both leopard and warthog going their separate ways but this time the warthog was unlucky.
