was wasted and gone
that the mountains can change their tone
and the days of our lives are gone.

are done
that the reason is that you think I'm dumb
that life can be so wrong.

that the our romance cannot survive
that the moutains can change overnight
that the world without our love is bright.

And I won't believe
that you forgot all about me
that we can't make up those
days by the sea
and I should leave it as it is.

And I won't believe
that the mountains can change their tone
that you forgot our love song
and can't see me anymore.

And I won't believe
that we cant share
dreams of things to come
that our love can change and now is gone.
that we wont deserve a second change.

Mountains can can change their tone means the color tone difference from green to dark green to yellow or orange before winter, or a change of moods in a person or situation, like a change of luck, reminds me of the book The Colors of The Mountain by Da Chen, a chinese Writer, I was reading that book when I was in Delta Utah.
