Hi everyone, if you have a question, raise your hand and we'll come to you.
The camera's ready at the back.
We'll go to Gael from Sky Sports UK.
Today, we talked about changing the narrative.
You certainly did that this evening.
How much do you enjoy it?
I really enjoyed the match.
Thank you to the players for the performance that they put in
in a big night for us against a really good side.
The way they went through in the last round against Juventus was really impressive.
The manner that we've done it, the way we played, the goals that we scored.
Thank you, because it was a special night.
Hi, Mikel.
How big could the effect of this win be on the players?
So much pressure on them to go and put a performance in like that.
What could the effect be of scoring seven?
Well, it's obviously given us a lot of joy and confidence and belief.
And then in football, it's not what we did three days ago or two days ago.
It's going to be what we do tomorrow when we go to Old Trafford, how we behave,
how we play, and are we able to win again?
And that's it.
Enjoy tonight, because it was a very impressive performance and an unbelievable score.
So we deserve that.
And I'll take it and keep improving as a team.
Tom from Football London.
Hi, Mikel.
For the seventh goal, we saw Edegaard slip in a player
who finished on his weaker foot into the opposite corner,
something like a striker, except it was Ricardo Calafiore.
Are there moments where a player can change your mind
about a position that he could play maybe in the future?
Well, there were a few players today, so we asked them really to take initiative.
When you come to this stage, you really have to play and love the game
and take initiative and go for it.
And today we have a full-back on Maes that puts a cross in for the opposite winger.
You have Jorina scoring as a header, as a full-back.
And they have Ricky making a movement as a nine and scoring with the right foot.
That's what I'm talking about.
Flow, courage and about playing the way we want to play.

Hi, Mikel.
I don't know if you remember a couple of weeks ago we spoke about Ethan
getting close to a record that was set by Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney.
Apparently, Wayne Rooney was here tonight.
And obviously, Ethan's now a goal closer to that record.
I was wondering how you felt about that.
And would you push him to go for it in the future weeks?
I don't think that he needs any pushing.
You see every time he has the ball what the intention is.
So if he comes, he comes.
And it's great.
I'm really impressed with, again, the way he behaved, the way he played tonight.
And yeah, it's about consistency.
Now doing it again three days later in another big stadium.
James ESPN.
Hi, Mikel.
We've often talked to you over the years about landmark moments for this team.
You know, winning at Old Trafford, beating City at home.
Does this feel like another one tonight?
Well, it's very significant.
But it's just, you know, to put yourself in a position,
in a really strong position to go through to the next round.
And that's it.
That's the reality.
You know, to put landmarks, we have to really make it
to a very different level.
But obviously, this team has done a lot that hasn't been done
in many, many years or in the history of the club, which means a lot.
But that's not what we want.
Jordan Sun?
No?
Sam, Telegraph.
Hi.
Hi, Mikel.
Was that another reminder that when when Martin's playing
and he's flowing, that the team just flows better?
Yeah, well, I think a lot of players made him flow today, you know,
but yeah, you could tell today that he was he was loose.
You know, he was enjoying it.
He was with that energy and that flow that
then he becomes a player that makes a difference for the team.
So I'm really happy that he was, you know, in a big night like that,
the captain steps up and put a performance like he did tonight.
Jordan Sun?
Hi, Mikel.
Declan has just said that the team has been playing like this all season.
We just haven't had the rub of a green or haven't been clinical enough.
Do you think that now this is really a big moment to then push on
and be able to be this clinical for the rest of the season, a real starting point?
That's what we want, you know, but at the end, it's
it's a thing of execution.
Today, we were exceptional.
We talked before the game.
Boxes in the Champions League are critical.
You have to dominate them.
We haven't done it in the first action and they scored a goal.
Another one is a penalty.
But when we were in the other end, we were phenomenal today.
And his willingness is for sure going to be there.
The quality of the execution, that's something else.
OK, Issan from the Daily Mail.
Kyle, the questions before the match yesterday were all on how on earth
you're going to score a goal.
In your wildest dreams, could you imagine scoring seven today?
I knew it was coming.
Did you? How? Why?
I mean, that's the beauty of it, you know.
Nobody in this room, if I give you an envelope, say,
can you predict what's going to happen tomorrow and who is going to score?
That's the beauty of football.
You know, in football, and you do very well today,
put your head down, be humble, analyse how you can improve
because the next game is going to be completely different to this one.
And nobody can write the script, unfortunately, even if we would like to.
OK, I think we'll take the last couple. Phil from PA.
Hi, Mikel, I know you've spoken briefly about it,
but obviously it's Arsenal's biggest away win in the Champions League ever.
I mean, what does that mean to you?
It's obviously a big, a big thing, isn't it?
And just what sort of statement does this win send out to the rest of Europe
in terms of actually going on to win the Champions League?
Yeah, for sure.
I mean, it's something that hasn't been done.
So great to be part of that.
But as a team, we want to achieve many other things
that are far more important than that.
The happiest thing that I am is because we are in a very strong position
to go to the next round, which is where we want to be.
But there's still a job to do in London for sure in a week's time.
And finally, Tom from The Times.
Hi, Mikel, similar theme, just so many different goal scorers tonight.
Is that kind of maybe the solution for you?
Lacking maybe with the injured players that everyone has to take responsibility?
And it's been like this for the last three or four years.
You know, we have scored a lot of goals and the way we share the goals
throughout the squad has been really impressive.
So it's really good because we are not depending on one player.
But when we don't score, we know what's going to happen.
So very pleased.
And I think the quality of the goals tonight, it was it was incredible.
OK, thanks, everyone. Thank you.
