Asturias (Leyenda), op. 232, no. 1 - Isaac Albéniz

Segovia's version of Asturias will always be a source of inspiration and perhaps some nostalgia for many guitarists. It has also been criticized for the considerable amount of liberties taken in the arrangement. Dr. Emre's arrangement carefully adapts the original piano piece by efficient fingerings and position shifts, staying true to the composer's intentions.
