My experience with this device:
DPL is a hybrid of IPL: intense pulse light, and laser light effective in the in salon (and now at-home) treatment of skin conditions including rosacea, acne scaring, hyper pigmentation, melasma, acne and dull skin.
I was really excited to use this device, even before I got it - because it seemed really cool. Once I got familiar with the usage tips (always read the manual!) I used it a few times a week and noticed after the very first session my skin looked shinier (not oily) but more luminous and pretty. I have noticed a reduction in the pore size (due to the pores becoming cleaner with usage) and a tightening effect. This DPL photo facial device by JOVS is certainly effective with removing dark spots, hyper pigmentation and speeding up the process of those going away.
If you have melanin in your skin, like me, if or when you get a pimple: it goes dark after. This tool has become a key skin care device for maintaining clear and pretty skin since this was a reoccurring skin issue of mine, alongside darkness/dullness for years.
