Embroidering simple but beautiful flower bouquets
And she walked through her imaginary kingdom, where the fields were always flowery and the days always sunny.
She walked, picking the most beautiful flowers and herbs, so that she would leave behind traces of perfume, beauty and healing.
And at the end of the day, when her basket was already full of her harvest, then she embroidered them.
Starting, then, in today's class, I used a 30x30 fabric to give a lot of margin.
And I used a canvas of linen, but you can use a linen, a raw cotton with a finish.
Try to use a fabric that has the most closed plot.
Here I already put it on the back and it is ready to embroider.
Let's start with the wheat bran by the cowl.
So, I used this copper color.
And we're going to make here, with two threads, the stem stitch.
Try to pull on the opposite side, so that the stitch fits better.
And leave the line always facing the same place.
If you are leaving it down, make the next stitch with the line always down.
Do not reverse in the middle of the way.
Pull on the opposite side and do so until the end of the branch.
Now we are going to make the rococó stitch.
The wheat seeds with this light beige.
I come here at the base of the cowl and I go back where I was.
I'm going to go around my needle.
Try not to overdo the line, because then the rococó stitch is very tight.
You have to give a distance that is the same as the stitch and the drawing.
In this case, I went around 30 times.
Pass gently through the needle and adjust the rococó.
Then you go with the needle down there.
I already left here to make the next one in the same way.
I go to the base and come back where I was.
Now, with this color, a little darker, we are going to make the margarida stitch.
Hugging this rococó stitch.
So, I go back to the same place, I go into the loop.
And I fix my stitch so that it hugs the rococó.
And I hold my stitch up here.
Take care when you pull so that it is well hugging the rococó stitch.
It continues in the same way.
And so it makes all the seeds.
Now, with this straw color, a single thread, we are going to make the wheat hair.
It is a straight dot in each seed.
And so you do in all.
To make the margarida petals, I used this Off-White with 6 threads.
And I'm going to make the full stitch.
I always like to start in the middle of the petal.
I make the first stitch, then I go to the two sides.
To make the cornflower, I used this salmon color with 4 threads.
And I'm going to start with the French knot stitch.
See that I didn't do it in the center of the ellipse.
I did it a little above.
Because we are looking at the margarida from a certain angle.
So, to get this three-dimensionality, we have to take care of the stitch here.
Now I'm going to make around this French knot, rows of stitch.
Only at the bottom.
Because, as I was saying, it has to give this three-dimensionality to our margarida.
So, the way we make the stitch is very important.
I go back to the left side and make another row of stitch.
I knitted one more row.
I go back to the left side.
And I'm going to do this until I fill up my whole eye.
Do it until you fill it up.
Here I already have it full.
I'm going to make a row with the green stitch.
With only two stitches.
So that it gives this three-dimensionality of the margarida.
As we are seeing from below, so it will be only down here.
I'm not going to do it all the way around.
And I finish here.
Our margarida is ready.
To make her chicken, you do it down there.
In all the margaridas, you will use the same color.
Skip the leaf and continue the branch.
I used this darker green with two threads.
And the stitch.
Here I'm going to show you.
Do you see that this branch is inclined to the right side?
So, I'm going to keep my line to the right side.
I explained this detail of the stitch in a video that I have only of it.
I'm going to leave the card here, in case you haven't seen it yet.
I pull on the opposite side.
And I turn my line to the right side.
Remember to never change direction in the middle of the way.
And so you do it down there in all the branches.
Now with this grayish green.
I'm going to make the chicken of pinheiro with the stitch.
Some people also know this stitch by chicken foot.
The name of the stitch is very regional.
They vary a lot depending on the state of the country.
So I'm completing the whole branch.
Now, to complete the branch, I'm going to make a back stitch with very large stitches.
Very big, can you see it?
And do it down there too.
Divide the flowers and continue.
Now with this light pink, I'm going to make this flower.
To give the three-dimensionality, I'm not going to do the middle.
I do a little bit up.
And we're going to make the homemade stitch.
With two threads, line down the needle.
I usually use the number of the needle.
I usually use number 7 or 8.
To make embroidery in general.
Sometimes, when the embroidery is very delicate, I use number 9.
Then you complete the whole circle.
Here I got to the end.
To finish, I come back here at the first stitch and finish.
Now with a needle without tip.
I'm going to do with this color, this pink, a little darker.
And four threads.
We're just going to do half a circle.
I'm going to make surface stitches.
I'm doing the stitch, it can be called ...
Let's call it a pirulito stitch.
Because I'm going to get ...
I'm going to wrap my line in the stitches already done.
Note that I do not enter the fabric.
I'm just picking up the stitches.
My line is over the needle this time.
Because I don't want to get into the loop.
I'll do it until about here.
Now I'm done and I'm going with the line down there.
I'm going out here a little bit down from where I started the pirulito stitch.
And I'm going to change the needle now for a needle with a tip.
The one we were using to embroider.
And I'm going to do the outline with a full stitch.
Very close to the other.
As we already did the pirulito stitch below.
It will be with a certain relief.
When it starts to get down here.
You can make the full stitch a little bigger.
To give this feeling that it is closer.
And as you go up, you go down.
And it does not end at the end of the pirulito stitch.
Stop a little earlier.
To make the second flower.
I used the same colors of thread.
In the same way.
And this last one down here.
I used the pink a little darker.
Medium in this case.
With two strands for the lace.
And this darker pink.
To make the full stitch.
Like we did up here.
The chicken of this flower.
I'm going to do with this grayish green.
With two strands.
And the lace stitch that we already learned.
Here in the daisy branch.
And also from the wheat.
Now let's make the leaf.
With this green a little darker.
Two strands.
If you are a beginner.
You can make a scratch here in the middle.
With the thermal pen.
To help you guide your stitch.
I always come back in the middle.
I go out on the side.
Now to the left side.
Now to the right side.
And I always come back in the middle.
This is the leaf stitch.
I alternated the colors of the other leaves of the daisy.
With the two shades of green.
One time you use one color.
Another time you use another.
Now the arrangement is ready.
The stitches here.
You already learned all.
I'll just show you the other colors.
That I used to compose the arrangement.
To make this lilac flower.
I used.
This numbering of light lilac.
The dark.
The dark with four strands.
The same way we did the others.
And the pinheirinho branch.
I used a darker gray.
Here it can get a little confusing.
You don't need to follow my pattern.
Just follow your intuition.
To get to the bottom of the branch.
They get tangled.
Sometimes one is on top of the other.
It's like that.
Now we'll make the daisy.
I used a rame thread.
As the rame thread I had was very thick.
I took it apart.
You see?
It loosens the thread easily.
I used a single strand.
I cut it to the size of an arm.
I used a bigger needle.
To pass the rame thread.
I think this is the number 3 needle.
I made a simple knot.
To start the embroidery.
I'll cut to make a delicate knot.
I'll make a series of simple straight stitches.
I thought I had a flaw.
I came back.
I'll take the needle out.
I'll leave this thread.
I cut a piece.
I'll come back with another thread.
I'll make the same knot.
I cut to make a delicate knot.
I leave on the opposite side.
To make a loop.
I take the needle out.
I cut a little too small.
But you leave it bigger.
To make the loop.
It looks like this.
To remove the dirt.
I used a crepe tape.
You can use any tape.
You can make a knot.
To make the loop more secure.
You can use glue.
And it's ready.
Although you have to be in the world.
Do not be the world.
Mix and interact with people.
However.
Your mind will always be in God.
Keep in your heart.
A secret sanctuary.
Of silence and peace.
Where it will not be allowed.
The entry of the oscillations.
From outside.
Of struggles.
Of afflictions.
Or of disharmony.
All feelings of anger.
Revenge and hate.
They must be left on the outside.
And in this refuge of peace.
God will visit you.
