Multiple Viruses Rage, COVID Cover-Up Suspected.
Now let's dive into the details.
Welcome to China Truths.
Multiple Viruses Rage, COVID Cover-Up Suspected.
Multiple viruses are raging in China, the number of infections has surged, and hospitals
across the country are overcrowded.
Among them, the epidemic of human metapneumovirus has caused the vigilance of the international
community.
Experts worry that the CCP's concealment of the epidemic may lead to a repeat of the COVID-19
outbreak five years ago.
A doctor in China said, it's 1 a.m. now.
Look, there are still many people receiving intravenous drips for the flu.
All night long, there are patients like this, some with high fever, coughing, and body aches.
On January 2, China's Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced that acute respiratory
infectious diseases are currently showing a sustained upward trend, and the positive
pathogens are mainly influenza virus, human metapneumovirus, HMPV, and rhinovirus, etc.
The outbreak of multiple viruses in China has caused the vigilance of the international
community.
On January 6, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC, said they were
aware of reports of increased cases of human metapneumovirus in China and were in regular
contact with international partners to monitor reports of increased illness.
In addition to the United States, neighboring countries of China, such as India, Malaysia,
Cambodia, and Western mainstream media have also paid attention to the human metapneumovirus
that is spreading in China.
Experts believe that what the international community is really concerned about is not
the human metapneumovirus, but the worry that the CCP will conceal the truth, causing
a repeat of the COVID-19 outbreak five years ago.
Lin Xiaoxu, a former virus researcher at the U.S. Army Research Institute, said,
Human metapneumovirus is a very common respiratory virus and is generally not on the list of
key respiratory infectious diseases to be monitored.
In the past, it was mainly children under five years old and the elderly who were infected.
Generally speaking, they recover within a week or two, so no one is particularly concerned
about it.
In December 2024, China's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that the human
metapneumovirus was coming in with great force.
The symptoms are similar to those of influenza and COVID-19.
The main symptoms are colds, fever, cough, runny nose, etc.
There is currently no vaccine or specific medicine to prevent or treat the disease.
Lin Xiaoxu said,
It's just that the Chinese government suddenly brought up this matter.
The international community is concerned.
Many countries may also be thinking, are there any new developments in respiratory infections
within the CCP?
New potential epidemics are of concern to the international community.
After all, China has dealt with SARS, SARS-CoV-2, and COVID-19.
At the end of 2019, the new coronavirus epidemic broke out in Wuhan.
Due to the CCP's concealment, the epidemic spread across the world, causing a large number
of deaths and the global economy came to a standstill.
At the end of 2022, the CCP lifted the pandemic lockdown, and hospitals no longer tested for
the new coronavirus.
After that, for the repeated infections of the people, the authorities all said that
they were infected with influenza A, influenza B, mycoplasma pneumoniae, influenza virus,
etc.
Tang Jingyuan, a former Chongqing physician who is a current affairs commentator in the
United States, said,
The entire international community has not seen any country that has such a phenomenon
as the CCP.
A person's pneumonia virus can cause such a serious outbreak.
That's why the international community is so concerned about this and wants to know
what the real situation is.
Recently, hospitals in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other places have been overwhelmed, and
the number of infected people has surged, and a large amount of information on Chinese
social media shows that many children have high fevers, white lungs, and even died.
A live streamer in China said,
Many people have recently fallen down in the video.
It feels exactly the same as when they went positive, but it's even more serious than
that year.
A Beijing resident said,
All pediatric beds, outpatient and emergency departments are full.
People in many places said that a new wave of the virus is menacing, and people around
them are infected.
Mr. Li, a resident of Hebei province, said,
It's the same as the positive case last time, but the symptoms are different.
This time they all have fever and pneumonia, and some are receiving intravenous drips.
The children all have fevers of 39 or 40 degrees Celsius or about 102 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
My children's classmates, I think they all have a fever.
My friend's children have white lungs.
Mr. Liu, a migrant worker in Guangzhou, said,
I have several friends who get infected every time, and they often have fevers, colds, coughs,
and their lungs are white.
I also have a friend who died when he was 30.
Experts suspect that a new outbreak took place in China and the CCP once again concealed
the truth.
Tang Jingyuan said,
We all know that after several years of the pandemic, the human body's immunity has
become weakened, and a person may be infected with multiple viruses at the same time.
The CCP has taken advantage of this loophole to cover up what may be the new coronavirus
in reality.
In fact, it is entirely possible that this person is infected with the new coronavirus
and co-infected with other viruses at the same time.
An Australian infectious disease expert said it was crucial for the CCP to share relevant
data in a timely manner.
Because they need genomic data to confirm that the virus is not showing major mutations
of concern and this genomic data will also guide vaccine development.
The chief scientific officer of HVIVO, a European virology research company, said they needed
more information in order to start understanding whether the virus that causes the high infection
rates in China is the strain of the virus that is commonly circulating.
Thank you for watching.
