Rainy Day ORCHID GARDEN Tour in MONTEVERDE, COSTA RICA

The rain didn't stop us from visiting the Orchid Cafe and doing an orchid tour in Monteverde, Costa Rica. The botanic garden is housed right in town in Santa Elena, boasting over 450+ species of orchids—about 1/3 of Costa Rica's orchid species. Somewhere between 100-200 species bloom at any given time—but they are easy to miss, because as you'll see—some of them are miniatures!
