Southern China: Continued heavy flooding/Xi is too scared to show up at the heavy flooding scene

A month after the floods in Northeast China receded, news of Xi Jinping's visit to a northern village to inspect the disaster rose to the top of search lists in China. Meanwhile, many provinces in Southern China have been hit by severe rainstorms recently. Coupled with secretive water discharges from reservoirs, the floods are still raging.
