This is the first time Panama has qualified with a 100% success rate, joining Mexico (7 times) and the United States (3 times). Panama will play in the U-17 World Cup for the fourth time in its history, having previously participated in Mexico 2011, the United Arab Emirates 2013, and Indonesia 2023. The team's all-time top scorers are Jorman Aguilar and Oldemar Castillo, both with two goals.

Its best performance came in its debut edition (Mexico 2011), when it reached the Round of 16. Panama remains the only Concacaf team (to date) to advance past the group stage in its first-ever U-17 World Cup appearance.
