What's up everyone and welcome to the club! In today's video I'll show you step-by-step on how
to draw Minnie Mouse. Let's begin today's lesson in the center of your page and draw an oval for
the nose. I'm going to start right in the middle at the very top, go around the left side,
cross the bottom, and just pull that back up towards the top.
Let's add that fold across the top of the nose. We start back over on the left,
then it's up above the nose, and then down on the right. Now you want to place the eyes on
top of that fold. So we're going to leave a small gap in the center. Let's start over on the left
side. I'm going to draw a long oval that goes up towards the top of the eye on the left,
round out the eye, come down, and just bend that back in. Let's go over towards the right
and do the same thing. Going up towards the same height, round out the eye, come down, and then in.
Now you want to pull the pupils towards the inside of the eyes. So we start on the left side,
draw a small oval, going up, down, and then in. And we'll fill the center of the pupils in black.
Now you want to add three curled lashes on top of each eye. So let's start on the left,
bend this out, and then up. Do that on the right side, go back to the left, draw the second lash,
step down, and draw one more. Now I'm going to wrap the top edge of the mouth around the nose.
So on the left side, let's step out for the mouth, come down underneath the nose, go across,
and then back up. Let's add a bracket across the corners of the mouth, bending this out, and then
down. Now let's go back and draw the bottom edge of the mouth. Starting back over on the left,
come down in the middle, round out the mouth, and go back up. Now I'm going to place the tongue
inside the mouth. Starting on the left, let's go up, bend that down, and step back to create
an overlap. Go up and then down towards the right, and it'll fill the top area of the mouth in black.
Now I want to add a thick edge along the bottom of the mouth. So start over on the left,
just going to follow that same curve of the mouth, coming down the middle, and then back up.
Now we want to move out and wrap the cheeks around the mouth. From the left corner of the mouth,
I'm going to step up, curve around, come down. I'm just going to tuck that in underneath that fold.
Let's go over towards the right and do the same thing. Around the cheek,
down, and we'll tuck that in. Now I'm going to work my way around the trim around the eyes.
Let's start back over on the left, go around the eye, up towards the top. I'm just going to bend
that down in the middle, and I'll do the same thing on the right. Going up above the right eye,
come down the side, and then in. Now before we finish off the head, let's add that large bow
along the top. We start with the knot. Let's start over on the left, start with a curve coming down,
and then up. Let's round up the side of the knot, come out, and then up towards the top,
and we'll close off the top with a curve.
Now from the bottom corners of the knot, let's draw the bow. Coming down,
and then bend that out.
Let's go up to the top and bend this up, and then bend that out towards the left,
and do the same thing on the right. Let's round up the top, come around the side, and then bend that
in. And then from the bottom, I'm just going to round up this corner, and then just tuck that up
underneath this fold. Let's add a fold along the top of the bow. Starting on the left,
bend this up, and then out. Now on the ends, I'm just going to curl this up towards the top.
Let's add another fold on the side of the knot, going up, and then out. Now with the bow in place,
let's close off the side of the head. We start on top of the left cheek, bend this out, up,
and then in underneath the bow. Now you want to draw two large circles on the side of the head
going in behind the bow. Let's start from the top left, go all the way around, come down,
and then in towards the side of the head. Let's line this up on the right, going all the way around.
I'm going to switch to a thick black marker, filling the ears, the side of the head, and the
nose. And once we're done filling that in, we'll be sure to sign out our work and add a splash of
color. And that's pretty much it. There's a drawing of Minnie Mouse. If you enjoyed today's tutorial,
