When students begin at medical school, one the first clinical skills that they are requested to master - in fact in week one of the course is how to take a manual reading of a patient's blood pressure and interpreting blood pressure reading as part of the overall clinical assessment

When you are used to using the bladder and sphygmomanometer, it is very simple clinical skill, but in the first weeks of medical school, this can be a real challenge.

So here we set out the clinical assessment of the blood pressure as a clinical examination demonstration
