Any first belonging is precious to everyone. Like your first car or your first pet.
Tell me, are you still missing them? I'm still missing my first cell phone.
It was Sony Rixon T610. But what was my second or third phone? I can't remember.
You want to start your bonsai journey? You should start with a tree that can handle
beginner mistakes. Because you would not like to lose your first tree.
Here are the 5 trees best for the bonsai beginners.
My first recommendation is the Jade. Jades are evergreen trees. They are easy to grow.
All you have to do just get a cutting, put it in soil and it will start growing.
It can be grown in every corner of the world. Environmental conditions really don't matter
Ficuses are second on my list. If I have to choose a specific ficus as my first tree,
I will choose Banyan. Ficuses are very resilient and they grow fast. They are very good to learn
the repotting and styling. And they can survive through all the beginner mistakes.
Third on my list is Cotton Silt tree. To be very honest, its single trunk branch structure
is not an aesthetically perfect choice for a bonsai tree. But there is a good thing about
that tree. In order to kill it, you have to do some kind of worse mistake. It is kind of phoenix
of the trees. If you cut it all to the ground, it will regrow from its taproot. It can survive
through the extreme weather, dryness and overwatering kind of mistakes.
Bougainvillea is fourth on my list. You can do all kind of learning experiments on that tree.
Just get a potted bougainvillea. Keep pruning its unwanted branches. And after few years,
you will get an awesome bonsai structure. And last but not the least.
Fifth on my list is Juniper. Juniper can thrive through many temperatures and soil types.
Their small leaf structure make it a perfect choice for a bonsai. I can say that juniper
is most popular tree among the bonsai community. There are junipers tested to be more than
1000 years old. If you wanna see those juniper, you can click on the video appearing on the screen.
