Kandovan Village : the only residential rock village in the world - Iran
#village #historical #walkingtour
The 7000-year-old village of Kandovan is one of the most famous and amazing natural and cultural attractions of East Azarbaijan province in Iran. Kandovan village is the only "inhabited rock village" in the world. There are two other similar villages, one in Cappadocia, Turkey, and the other in Dakota, USA, but these villages are uninhabited.
The historical village of Kandovan, which is several thousand years old, is located in Esko city, 70 km from Tabriz.
The beehive or cookie-shaped houses of this village are located in the heart of the mountain, which are completely the result of a natural volcano and were created without human intervention.
Join me on this trip to the rock village of Kandovan in Iran, East Azerbaijan.
At the end, we will visit a 5-star rock hotel in the village
