He would always hear that. I'm going to play something for you.
Yeah, yeah.
A little something, see what you think about that.
I love that. I love that.
Jamie, Cameron, first of all, congratulations.
Any movie that starts with Lauryn Hill, two hot and talented people in a Bentley, I'm in.
Come on. How great was that?
I was like glued to the screen. I was like, this is epic.
Even more epic, I'm going to talk like you're not here.
The moment you see Cameron Diaz look right into the screen,
and we just hold that moment for a second, it is movie magic.
It is movie magic.
He's like the best hype person, you know what I mean?
I know.
He's like the best hype man.
I like, it is, and to see it on the, because we got to see it in Berlin.
Yeah.
It is movie magic.
Speaking of movie magic, Cameron, your red lip, this red lip is inspired by you,
Miss, because the red lip you bring in this film.
I was like, I need that.
But listen, it's been a minute.
It's been a minute since we've seen you.
Last time we saw you was in Annie with this handsome fella right beside you as well.
Yeah, I'm talking to you.
What was it like to get a call from Jamie to get back into the action
and knowing that you were going to have this friendship with you
to actually execute this film again?
For me, it was, you know, I wasn't even considering anything at all.
And it just, when this script came across, made its way in,
it started a conversation with my husband and I started talking about maybe,
maybe it would be cool to kind of go do something, mix it up a little bit with the family.
And only because that consideration, only because
I knew what I was getting into with Jamie, you know, I knew obviously his talent.
I know from other films that I knew he's a professional, his partnership.
I knew we were going to have a great time.
And I've always felt it to be a privilege to be able to make movies
and to entertain people.
And the script with Seth Gordon, the director with Jamie,
I thought, wow, I'm actually going to have, you know,
this is going to be a fun, great entertainment.
I love that.
I love that we got our Charlie's Angels baddie back in this movie.
But Jamie, let's talk about this playlist.
Glenn talks about how you are always playing music in between takes.
And I'm so curious to know, because the playlist in this film,
we've got Etta James, like the classics.
How much did that add to the magic when you saw the finished product as well?
Well, just like how it's affecting you, it affected us.
And we have to tip our hats to our leader,
Seth Gordon, who is the director and who also wrote and directed Horrible Bosses.
But he got his music game is crazy.
Yeah.
His music game was so good.
And he was always, he would always, he's like, I'm going to play something for you.
To see what you think about that.
Yeah, I love that.
I love that.
He's always like a magical, he's like a magical character in like a Christmas film.
So good.
Okay.
But so listen, you two, I'm calling this right now,
because when this was over, I wanted more.
I wanted so much more.
And he's still going with the impression, but I'm going to call this,
I'm going to call a franchise for back in action.
Because Jamie, we saw you sitting with Adam Sandler at the Globes.
And I just feel like this could be a, you know,
back in action, murder mystery crossover on Netflix, and we can get you all together.
So like, what do you think about that?
I think there could be a franchise.
You're out there producing.
Go ahead, Bay and Bloor.
I see you.
I love it.
I mean, I love Adam Sandler.
But I tell you right now, Cameron Diaz, top of the line.
Top of the line.
Well, listen, before I go, I do want to say, Jamie, as well,
loved your special, and it is so good to have you back as well.
Thank you so much.
So good.
