Today, us four are going to be competing in Mario Party
in real life mini game challenge.
To celebrate the Mario Party Superstars game on the Nintendo Switch,
we're going to do game inspired challenges to see who will get the most stars.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
What does the winner get?
Free question.
Whoever ends with the most victories
wins this Nintendo Switch system
in the Mario Party Superstars game.
Let's do this.
Woo hoo!
We are all in different colors
because we're representing different characters.
I'm Team Peach.
I'm Team Mario.
I'm Team Waluigi.
And I'm representing Daisy.
These guys didn't invite me to play
and they know I've been playing Mario Party for years.
And to make it even worse, Mario Party Superstars
has 100 hilarious mini games
and a ton of classic game boards.
So why wouldn't I want to join them?
Maybe I'll just take these Joy-Con controllers from the prize area.
Challenge number one.
In the mini game Trace Trace,
all the players have to draw a line as close to the original line as possible.
So in our game, we're all going to be shown the same picture for three seconds.
Then whoever can redraw the picture closest to the one that we were shown
gets the star.
Let's begin.
OK, start.
Oh no.
Oh my gosh, that was terrible.
I messed up already.
Pencils down.
OK, so here's this side by side.
I got the house.
I did not get the chimney though.
I got three birds and I got a tree.
I did get the kite.
I think I did pretty good.
All right, guys.
So I'm not entirely sad about this that I lost.
Well, I probably did because, I mean, I'm not that good at drawing.
OK, so I got the house and I got the tree and I got one bird,
but I didn't get the kite and I have this wonky chimney.
OK, so this is mine.
I'm not that good at drawing just like Cade, but I did get the kite.
I forgot the three birds and my tree looks a little wonky.
All right, guys, as much as I wanted to win that challenge,
I think it's pretty obvious who won.
Jazzy from Team Daisy.
Team Daisy for life.
Where's my star?
Yes!
Don't worry, Cade.
We can still get stars.
Oh, I don't care if you get a star.
I just need mine.
OK.
Oh!
OK, while they're distracted, I figured,
why just take the Joy-Con controllers when I can take the whole Nintendo Switch?
Challenge number two.
In the mini game Hot Rope Jump,
all four players compete to see who can jump the rope the longest.
For our challenge, we each are going to jump as long as we can
and see how many jumps we can complete without messing up.
Let's start with Team Waluigi.
Oh.
Start.
All right, here we go.
Dang it, only four?
Well, hopefully no one else can beat four.
All right, guys, Team Mario, let's go.
33.
I feel that was pretty good.
Hopefully no one can beat that.
Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.
Dun-dun-dun-dun-dun.
I just messed up on 20, so...
Go, Team Peach!
OK, we're going to beat Cade.
Let's go.
Ready?
Three, two, one.
Uh, I don't know about that form, but I guess we'll let it slide.
Oh, she's getting closer.
Hopefully she doesn't beat me.
27, 28, 29, 30.
Come on, let's go, baby!
Bring me my star!
Challenge number three.
There's a game called Goomba Spotting,
where dozens of little Goombas pass through the canyon,
and the goal is to count how many Goombas cross.
Whoever guesses closest to the correct number wins.
So for our challenge, we're going to see how many of these colored balls
pass through this doorway.
Here we go.
Start.
Huh, I totally got this.
The answer was totally 41.
I got 46.
I got 37.
Well, I got 38.
What's the number?
That's what I guessed.
Where's my star?
That's perfect.
Yes.
Challenge number four.
This next challenge is based off of Bowser's Big Blast minigame.
In the game, the players have to guess which of the levers are safe to push
and which are going to give you a blast from Bowser.
Our challenge is going to be the same.
There are six buttons and four of us.
Four of them are safes and two of them are blasts.
Let's see who makes the best picks.
All right, guys.
This is the last and final round.
Everything is up to chance right now.
Start.
OK.
I got this.
I'm going first.
Wait, wait, wait.
This is just so intense.
I can.
Just wait a second.
OK, go, go, go, go.
This is for Team Waluigi.
Let's go.
Oh, no.
OK, your turn.
Team Peach's turn.
Oh, my gosh.
All right, since both of the blasts have been already picked,
me and Kaden are going to go next on our final last round.
There's going to be one blast and two safes.
Oh, my gosh.
It's my turn.
We have a chance to win a Nintendo Switch.
Come on.
It's all up to stake.
You go, you go.
Hold on.
I need a sec.
OK, go.
That's your sec.
Oh, just go.
Just go.
No.
You still have a chance.
I have a chance.
What should I do?
That was so crazy.
I mean, what are the odds that out of three buttons,
we both got a safe?
No, there's going to be two buttons left.
One's going to be a blast and one's going to be a safe.
This is all, all risking it.
And whoever wins gets a Nintendo Switch.
Oh, my gosh.
This is so nerve wracking.
I have no idea.
Just go.
Why is this so nerve wracking?
Just go.
Three.
OK, well, Jazzy, I guess you won the Nintendo Switch along
with the game Mario Party Superstar.
Yes.
Let's go get your prize.
Let's go get the game.
Let's go get it.
Wait a minute.
Where did it go?
I don't know.
It was here at the start of the game.
Yes, yes.
What was that?
I had a feeling this would happen.
Uh-oh.
No, Dad, what are you doing?
That was the prize for our challenge game.
Well, yeah, I just wanted to play with you guys.
Well, why didn't you just ask to join our challenge game?
Maybe you would have won.
But what if I lost?
Then I wouldn't have won the Nintendo Switch prize
and I'd never get to play.
Well, lucky for you guys, even though I
won, I was planning on putting the Nintendo
Switch in the dock so we could all play
together on the big screen.
Really?
