Catania, Italy - 2022 Walking Tour - Must Visit Places and Nightlife

We start at the bustling fish market in the historic city center and move to the Piazza del Duomo. The Fountain of the Elephant comes into view in the center of the piazza, which is surrounded by the beautiful Cattedrale di Sant'Agata and many cafes. Next, we move along the busy shopping street Via Etnea with its gelaterias and pasticcerias. On our tour we enter Piazza Università and pass by a stunning row of UNESCO recognized churches on Via Crociferi. Later in the evening, we return to the fish market and a small piazza decorated with colorful umbrellas which full of people enjoying street music and an early evening drink. As it turns to night, this lively city comes to life as we pass by bars and street restaurants to soak in the relaxed summertime atmosphere of Sicily.
