Kalia Gets Braces Off For The First Time! *SCARY*

Today, my daughter Kalia has to get her braces off. And if she's brave enough to do it, I will give her three surprises. I'm not breaking the rules, but I'm technically breaking the rules. And keep watching, because I was shocked at what she did at the end. What's up, Fun Squad? Today I'm getting my braces off! I'm so excited. I'm sorry. This is the Kalia Squad! I'm going to the dentist to get off my braces all by myself with no one holding my hand. This is the very last moment that she has braces. She's in her dance class. What's happening? Look at me. I want to see your braces, Kalia. Hi, cutie. I'm a piranha. All right. Kalia didn't want to wait an extra day, not one more day to get her braces off. So I can't wait to see the final result. One of the reasons Kalia needed braces is because she has teeth coming in in the wrong places. Watch this flashback to see what I'm talking about. Okay, so this tooth right here is, like, going the wrong direction. This one right here, this is a permanent tooth. So we're moving this tooth over so that this one can come through in the right place. All we want is for it to come in. Once it comes in, then I can redirect it. This will just make them Look even more beautiful. This is a final polisher that just makes them a little more shiny. Okay, open wide. Moment of truth. Oh, my gosh. Wait. What the heck? That looks so good. You look great. My brain is confused right now. I feel so weird. You look good. I look very beautiful. The orthodontist said I, I can take my bottom off in three or four months. Okay, Kalia. So what I'm going to do now. Is I'm going to glue on this. Little gold wire retainer. This is going to sit behind your four front teeth on the top. Just holding those four teeth in place. So that they don't move again. Time for a wire on the top. They're cleaning back there before they're gonna put it on. They have all kinds of crazy tools at the dentist. Teeth sensor in. That's a good picture. That is a good picture. Look at me. Okay, time for the wire. You ready? So the wire is fitted to the shape of the teeth. All right, she's got one side of the wire onto her teeth. And now she needs the second side. And I think she'll be done. All right, Kalia gets to watch a movie while all of this is happening. Guess which one she chose. Okay, Kalia, this is gonna feel super weird. That retainer is gonna feel weird. It's gonna feel bumpy. That's kind of the point of it, okay? And it's gonna taste kind of gross, too. For my bottoms, I get to pick a color. Since it's close to Christmas, I'm gonna do green and Fire red. Fire red. That'll be perfect for your Blitzen play tomorrow. All right, Kalia got cast as Blitzen, in their Christmas Sing at school. It's tomorrow. The performance is tomorrow, so we'll have to show you that. Now she'll have Christmas colors on her bottom to go with her reindeer costume. Okay, I'm gonna lay you back one last time. And the wire is going in. There's lots of tools that go in your mouth when you get braces or your braces don't come off. But the orthodontist's assistant is super careful with those tools to make sure that everything is very comfortable and safe. You can sign on this island, you can sign on any of these walls. The scariest part is when they had like, those tools that, like, shaved off the glue. So if you ever get your braces off or on. On doesn't hurt at all. And off you a little bit, but it doesn't hurt. And now I gotta show all my friends and all my family. And all my dogs. And that sounds weird. And all my dogs. What if they gave dogs braces? What if they gave dogs braces? 20 minutes later.
