Pars 4x4 The latest member of the Pars family
developed and manufactured by FNSS Defense Systems. The Pars 4x4 wheeled armored vehicle
was unveiled at the International Defense Industry Fair, IDEF, in Istanbul, Turkey in May 2015.
The vehicle was designed at the Ankara Research and Development Center of the FNSS
and is intended to meet the operational requirements of the battlefield land forces.
The vehicle is approximately 5 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and 1.9 meters high.
It accommodates in the mind-protected seats a crew of five members. The roof-mounted cameras
provide the driver and the commander with day and night situational awareness, while the windows
provide an improved field of view. The Pars 4x4 has a 25 horsepower per ton power-to-weight ratio,
a low profile, and amphibious capability. Without any preliminary preparation,
the vehicle with its crew of four will operate in deep and fast-flowing water.
The vehicle's improved maneuvering thrusters in the water is provided by two propellers
located at the rear. The Pars 4x4 can operate on any rough terrain with a low center of gravity,
fully independent suspension system, ABS-assisted hydraulic disc brakes,
low ground pressure, and increased angles of approach and departure.
The Pars 4x4 can climb vertical slopes of 70 percent and can hold on horizontal slopes of 40
percent. Orlikon Rheinmetall Air Defense A.G.
One of the world's leading manufacturers of state-of-the-art air defense and anti-aircraft
systems is Rheinmetall Air Defense A.G. In order to improve its position in the world market,
Rheinmetall changed its name to Rheinmetall Air Defense A.G. from Orlikon Contraves A.G. in 2009.
High-precision stabilized 20-millimeter gun stations are made by Rheinmetall Air Defense
for mounting on all types of boats or ships. The company's fast-fire gun of 20-millimeter caliber
is mostly used on light patrol and combat boats and is suitable for existing weapon systems on
larger vessels, playing an important role in close-range defense. High-performance systems,
fully automated and high-powerful, are perfect for defending Navy personnel,
ships, and other high-value assets from modern symmetric and asymmetric threats.
The versatile and highly effective two-axis and three-axis multipurpose radar naval target
tracking systems are suitable for all weather conditions, offering comprehensive interlayer
defense capabilities to protect the crew and ship. Lynx
For the first time, Rheinmetall has unveiled its latest infantry fighting vehicle,
IFV Lynx KF41, to the international public at Eurosatury 2018. A state-of-the-art,
highly protected, tracked armored vehicle is the Lynx infantry fighting vehicle.
The IFV was released for the first time at an exhibition at Eurosatury 2016 in June 2016.
Two options are available for the Lynx IFV, the Lynx Kettenfahrzeug KF31 and the KF41.
The KF31 has a weight of up to 38 tons and can accommodate three crew and six troops,
while the KF41 is an expanded version capable of carrying three crew and eight infantrymen.
To enter and exit the vehicle, the commander, gunner, and driver are provided with hatch covers.
The crew may also enter and leave the vehicle through the rear ramp that is hydraulically
operated. At the rear of the crew compartment, the vehicle also has a roof hatch, which serves
as an observation point and an emergency exit. The Lynx IFV is mounted with a Rheinmetall lance
turret armed with a stabilized and externally powered 30mm or 35mm automatic cannon.
The turret allows the crew to effectively engage targets at a maximum distance of 3,000 meters.
Kodiak
Launched in Switzerland by Genie Panzer, the AEV-3 Kodiak is an armored engineering and
mine clearance tank able to meet the technical and tactical needs of current armed forces.
The vehicle is fitted with a hinged arm excavator equipped with a quick-change tool system to fix
other tools, such as a universal gripper, a hydraulic hammer, and a concrete crusher.
There is also an expandable bulldozer blade that, when required, can be substituted with a
coal-clearing system. The vehicle's bulldozing power is 350 meters cubed per hour. The vehicle
is armed with a remote-control weapon station that can be equipped with an automatic grenade launcher,
12.7mm machine gun, or 40mm. An IR camera, daylight camera, and laser rangefinder can
be used to install the weapon station. There is also a smoke grenade launcher fitted.
It's equipped with an integrated mine protection system,
and the crew compartment features a heating and cooling system.
NMS 4x4
A new light armored vehicle produced by Neural Machina is the NMS 4x4. The vehicle was unveiled
in May 2017 at the International Defense Industry Fair, which occurred in Istanbul, Turkey. The NMS
has anti-tank and anti-air defense capabilities to meet the armed forces' different mission
requirements. It can be used for a wide range of missions, such as reconnaissance, surveillance,
battle, transport of troops, and operations for air defense. Depending on the mission requirements,
the NMS 4x4 armored vehicle can be configured into three different versions. It can be configured
into a scout vehicle, a carrier for personnel, and a system for air defense. A roof-mounted
remote-controlled weapon system mounting a 7.62mm and 12.7mm standard machine gun
is fitted in the armored vehicle. In place of the machine gun, it can also be fitted with a
40mm anti-tank missile launcher weapon. BAE Systems CV90
Combat Vehicle 90, CV90, was designed by BAE Systems Land Systems, Haglunds of Ornskoldsvik,
and Saab Bofors Dynamics of Karlskoga, Sweden, as a family of armored combat vehicles.
The CV90 platform is designed for maximum mobility and agility. It features a number
of land and air transport options for ease of deployment. Even in the toughest terrain,
it provides first-class performance on the ground, offering the tactical edge to the staff.
There is a unique set of demands on every battlefield. The CV90 can be designed or
configured to match any scenario, from patrol to battle, with a complete range of armament options.
Making battle-winning decisions depends on quick access to direct, accurate data. The CV90's C4I
capability provides the crew with decision superiority, enabling your forces to stay one
step ahead of the enemy. With advanced, scalable electronic architecture, the system meets EMC
standards and allows straightforward integration of third-party and legacy systems.
M142 HIMARS The M142 HIMARS
high-mobility artillery rocket system is a multiple rocket launcher system mounted to a
HIMARS is focused at engaging and destroying artillery, air defense concentrations,
tanks, light armor, and personnel carriers, as well as supporting concentrations of troops
and equipment. The long-range ATACMS, Army Tactical Missile System, guided missile,
is capable of being launched by HIMARS. The Block I, Block IA, and Block IA unitary missiles are
included in ATACMS family. 950 anti-personnel anti-material baseball-sized M74 submunitions
are delivered by the Block I missile to ranges exceeding 165 kilometers.
The high-mobility artillery rocket system carries a single six-pack of rockets supplied by Armor
Holdings Tactical Vehicle Systems Division, now BAE Systems Mobility and Defense Systems,
in Texas, on the Army's medium tactical vehicle family, 6x6 all-wheel drive, 5-ton truck.
